People complaining about wind noise on a Jeep has to be a joke. It is the only truck that you can remove the top. If you make it so the wind noise is no different than the others, you may as well get rid of the removable top. It would be so heavy and then people would complain about that. If you want a quieter cabin, don’t get the Jeep. Real “Jeep people” accept this and it is part of the draw. You really have to ask yourself before you buy, “am I a Jeep person”?

Ooooh guess I should’ve purchased the storage bags! Plan on taking the top off on my drive to Colorado at some point. Wouldn’t want them getting banged around the bed

Jeep missed a big opportunity that was missed when they designed the hard top for this truck. They should have made the removable portion a few inches thinner and put the back piece on a hinge so that one person could fold the top backwards into the bed. Wiring could remain attached and you wouldn’t need to worry about rain or storing the top.

How? The roof width is the same as the body, the space in the tub is slimmer.
If anything they should start putting in internal eyelets that allow you to run straps for a small roof mounted winch or ratchet straps.

Nah, should have made four removable top panels and then the rear panel would be flatter. Much easier removal, storage, and more potential configurations like Bimini style, with hardtop roof panels and no rear, or full top removed with windows up and rear in place.

Hey Rob, I have an unusual question regarding the Gladiator Hardtop. I have a 2019 JLUR and like to run a (BesTop) soft halftop in the summer. Do you think the Gladiator Hardtop would fit on my JLUR aside from it not having a back panel for the roof to sit on. In other words, do you think everything else would line up? Thanks very much for your feedback!

2020 and newer? What is newer

HAHA! We know it sounds a little silly, but we have to future proof our videos just a bit. By saying 2020 and newer, the video will still be applicable when someone is watching in 2021, 2022, etc.

Do you know if any of the hoist will work with this top?

We haven't seen any hoists designed specifically for the Gladiator top yet. I'm sure there will be a few coming very soon.

Being 5'7" I'm not sure lifting the Gladiator 4.5" with 37s was a good idea to later remove the hardtop. Oh well.
