    Check out this free app that gets you cash back on gas. Our Jeeps love drinking gas... this app is pretty cool. They work with local gas stations and give you cash back per gallon (they want you to visit their gas station opposed to others).
    Click this link or use promo code VJETJ to get an extra 15¢/gal bonus the first time you make a purchase. upside.app.link/VJETJ

    Nice! I have a Gladiator in Punk’n metallic and I LOVE it! My dream Jeep!!! I am so thrilled they brought back a truck, so you get all the fun of the Jeep and the utility of a truck, and it’s not too big. I have the step up rails, roll-up tonneau, noise/heat panels, sun shade, iPad for nav, and was thinking lights and a front brush guard, but now I need the tubular doors. I agree that the idea of riding with nothing there is unnerving. I love taking the freedom tops off but admit the rear top is too much work. Also, with the freedom tops off and the sun shade on, I still feel like I have a little security in addition to the sun and wind protection, whereas by removing the rear top, you are wide open and have to be able to keep an eye on the truck if you didn’t completely empty out the cab.
    Great video guys, and another commenter is right, your videos are very conversational, good on detail without getting tedious, and very engaging. Good stuff! (And the girls are adorable!) I am enjoying your channel. Thanks!!!

    Refreshing to see someone drop the windshield. I’ve done it a few times on my JL Rubicon. Drove around town running errands. Haven’t scene anyone else do it in the wild.

    • @orange_bench
      @orange_bench 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Vespering the main reason you won’t see most people doing it in newer Jeep’s is because it voids the warranty on the seals, and it’s really hard for some people to get the windshield seal properly

    I've been looking at a buying a Rubicon myself. I always do a lot of research before buying a new vehicle. I've watched about 4 of your videos on your Rubicon. I gotta tell you...You do a great job with your channel. Great commentary, Great personality and expressions. Incorporating your wife (Cassie, hope I spelled it correctly) is brilliant. Even showing your kids, is fantastic. I laughed so hard when in one of your videos you said "gotta put the girls down for a nap"...and one of them got sassy and yelled "No"! Seriously laughed out loud. You have a cool channel, an Awesome wife, and two beautiful girls. You are a blessed man. Your channel is tempting me big time, to get my Rubicon. Keep up the good work. Well done!

    I have never been a Jeep guy but I really like the Gladiator. I am seriously considering buying one. I wish it had a slightly longer bed. I realize it has a fairly long wheel base but my last truck had an 8' bed and the modern 6' (5 1/2') seem small so this is even smaller. It would be great if Jeep offered a choice of more than one engine. It looks really great with the doors and top removed but the setup for the windshield seemed like problems/damage waiting to happen. It definitely is a nice vehicle. You folks did a great job with this video. Thanks for taking the time to show all the steps involved for everything and keeping an honest time clock when removing and adding doors, top, etc.. Good looking truck, great looking family and wonderful video. Thank you and God bless. 👍🏼

    To unplug the wire harness from the front doors you need to press a tab in at the bottom of the plug then the white part will roll up easy. Thanks for the link on the tube doors. Have a JL that's a twin to your gladiator and was looking for something like these tube doors that don't break the bank!

    One thing I like about the JL and JT doors is the underside of the armrest has a pocket that is a handle to help you hold the door. At 6:22 in your video instead of having your left hand lifting up the on the top of the door, try putting your arm into the window and grab it under the armrest. I find it much easier to handle the doors doing it this way.

    Well if you haven’t figured this out yet or anyone else. On my 2020 Jeep gladiator sport s when removing the front doors. The part where you said the white clip was super hard for the door electrical connector, it’s actually not. Took me about 5 minutes to figure it out but you pull the red “safety” tab up and just put on the tab below the white connector like when you unplug a headlight bulb, you press the little locking tab. When you do press the tab instead of trying to pry the white clip/tab clip, it will actually pop the white tab for you

    Question ( anyone can reply) what kind of carport is that? Moved into my house last year, and there is a slab of concrete at the end of my driveway that used to have a garage. Now I'm looking for some type of shelter that can handle north east weather ( snow blizzards in the winter, heat in the summer). I have a charger that I want to better cover. I'm still planning on putting a cover on it when I dont use it, but some shelter that wont weigh down on it, would be great. Thanks
