I think your biggest problem is that you're not getting enough views from outside Kenya. Swedish vloggers usually make around $1-$4 per 1000 views. Sponsorships also increase you revenue tenfold compared to TH-cam ads. You should also make a reminder at the start of each videos where you ask your viewers not to skip the ads, I have a habit of doing that.
You are 100% right. Our revenues are low because of very low TH-cam CPM and not a lot of compagnies want to sponsor us due to our Kenyan audience. We hope that by traveling more it will fix itself.

I have started a TH-cam channel about homeschooling. The dream is to homeschool on the go with my children. The though part: editing time 😅. I have very, very little time to editi. I have made peace with knowing my videos will not have amazing editing quality. It's just not possible right now. I am aiming for 2 videos a week. Thanks for all the encouragement you
Its always hard at the beginning! You simply gotta keep going. I am not expert but I suggest you go down to 1 video a week if it gives you more time to edit it. Retention on TH-cam is everything. That being said I wish you all the best! ❤️👍🏼
Try pitching something with the tourism department here in Kenya, these people are loaded and can bankroll your activities seemlessly. They can get you the best hotels and all.

Keywords are an old thing. TH-cam now is all about interests. Most channel are growing via suggested content and not search. For tittle make sure you never repeat what is already on your thumbnail. Otherwise just try to be interesting which is easier said than done haha. 😅
