What spot did you find on fuse block for 12V key on ? That’s not a constant 12V is it ? So I could tap into the old distributor wire which is 12V key on
Does my 03 yukon done Have this switch. Also My yukon gas pedal is disconnected except for what looks like a vacuum hose going up into or behind the drivers side dash? I was afraid to cut it.
Not that style, it has the multi wire stop light switch that clips onto the brake pedal pin. It will work but you need to see what wire is what. I am using a different design brake pedal and mount.
How would i this using the fatory ecm and harness with factory fuse box?. My engine is a 2007 lq4 6.0 DBW blue and green conectors. My 1986 C20 has a 2 sided brake switch
@@rust_hoarder_garage ok on my pin out sheet that I have.. the pin 33 the wire is already in they're I'm also using the factory fuse box the fuse box has a C1 connector and C2 black which has the ppl wire in that connector factory. So do I just take another ppl wire from my switch and splice into that wire?
trace the wire back from blue 33 to wherever it goes, and connect it to the switch as the purple wire in the video. Or remove it from the PCM, install a new wire in blue 33, and run it into the car to the brake light switch and wire it as the purple wire in the video.
Thanks!
Thank you!
Great viideos
Thanks!
So even if it’s drive-by cable, will you still need this or no thank you
yes if you are running a lock up converter.

any key on IGN fuse will be fine for the 12v, only need it when the car is running, not when cranking and not full time.
@@rust_hoarder_garageokay thanks sir.

What if you don’t have the yellow wire from crush control do you just do purple to white?
Follow the instructions for the purple wire and ignore the instructions for the yellow.

purple wire goes to blue connector pin 33, trace out your wire and hook it up the same way I hooked up my purple wire.
