I don’t know why you had the bottom lever clocked down so low… the direction says at park to put the bottom lever at 8 or 9 o’clock. Had you done that the included rod would’ve been long enough 😮
I noticed that as well :) If he had adjusted the selector adapter 45 degrees to the left, taking the ground as zero degrees (8 o'clock) stock rod would reach it fine.
Again Not related to this video, but ,when you mounted the LS in the frame . . . . I may have missed , , what Square body frame to LS motor mount brackets did you use ?
With that setup we’re you able to shift all the way down into 1st? Was your column set up for over drive ? 3 speed? Does that make a difference? Thanks.
With my s10, it came with a 700r4 so my column was fine for my 350sbc/700r4 swap. Same trans but different bell housing. I'm still putting mine together
Thank you a TON! I've been looking for a definitive "been there, done that" video concerning the Lokar kits. You're the BEST!!
This video was very helpful. And this Lokar kit is the best dont waste your money on any other kit. Thanks again
Is that 4l80 electronically controlled and how did you get your reverse lights hooked up?
Nice bracket to utilize the column shift! well done!
Thanks for sharing I just got my Lokar in last week.
Nice work. Thanks for the video. You answered all of my questions.
Very cool!!! Slick setup!!

Excellent video. Very detailed. You make it look so easy... But not so much for me... 🥴
What driveshaft did you use? Im doing the same drivetrain on my 86 c10

I used the TransDapt motor mounts and transmission crossmember on it.
I ok have a question which clock position would you say your selector is in at the trans?

Did your indicator line up ? The PRND12 on the dash ?
I think that is what the slot in the lower bracket is for.. I think this guy doesn’t know exactly what he’s doing
What is the part number for longer rod from summit
Will this work with a 10L90E on an LT4?
Noticed your torque converter. I’m running same set up 4L80/6.2 LS.
What flexplate did u use???????
I used a Silverado 2500 flex plate with the spacer
I have a 6.0/80e set up in my impala SS
What size what the rod that came with kit? My kit came with a 21” rod and it’s still seems to be too short on a 61 c10 with a 700
I went with the 26” rod
But did have to cut it down some
Hot Rod And Street Truck Garage yeah I just measured 27”. I will need another one. Thanks for the response
Will this work for a 1993 Silverado? I’m late swapping it
The connection to the 4l80e is the same, not sure about the steering column though
Would this work on an 1988-1996 body style
Yeah, although the linkage rod may need to be shortened
Okay! i have a 88 6.0 4l80 and the sketchy linkage I have isnt cutting it
Did it work?
Worked great
