- Royal Jordanian becomes the 282nd airline to join our Cockpit series and Jordan becomes the 100th country we're filmed airlines from! The airline selected 4 great pilots to present their Embraer on a domestic flight and the Boeing 787 on one of its major European routes.
First you fly from Amman to Aqaba situated in southernmost Jordan on the Red Sea, Aqaba becomes the 955th destinations featured in our series! You then get on the Dreamliner for a flight to London which includes a fantastic approach into Heathrow with holding and views of an Airbus A380 and great views of the city with great presentations by the pilots!

I love the rolling "R's" spoken by Middle Eastern peoples just as this pilot does. The very polite nature "follow me please" of these same people are a model that should be used to teach arrogant Americans in the classroom what being "civil" means. God bless Jordan and all her people. From an American living in New York state.

@@justplanes One thing that surprised me is when the captain was reviewing the instrument panel at 8.19 that altitudes were listed as 'ft' and rate as 'fpm' . Can you explain why it isn't all metric?
@@williamp9361 They use feet in most countries around the world. I know they use meters in Russia and China but other than that its mostly feet...

Very good video with two skilled pilots. I flew in an Embraer (190) in 2015 from Gatwick to Madrid and I liked both its performance and seating arrangement. Thank you RJA and pilots. Regards from Uruguay.

Wonderful with equality in cockpit careers. Kinda wierd that she is not allowed in some countries to drive a car, although she's fully allowed to command an airplane.

haha we don't find them or look for them... we filmed 4 pilots on Royal Jordanian and they made sure to include one woman which is always good.

Attila Aszalos, Id venture a guess that it’s hospitality supplies. Heated/prepared food etc for the flight kitchen.
A 'big white house', could be America's disasterous president who's living there, he's supposed to live in a white house. 😄 Like you, I also noticed that truck, and was curious. It didn't appear to be an airstairs vehicle, so I'm not sure what its purpose is. One replier, GNX157, has guessed hospitality supplies etc. - I suspect that guess is probably right.
Maybe this isn't the thing to talk about at the moment but when exactly are domestic/internatinal flights going to come back and situational life routines you know?
Flight have been back for a bit. It started slowly and now airlines are adding flights almost every day. Here in Boston all domestic airlines are operating and the international ones have also been coming back. 3 airlines came back this week : Qatar Airways, Lufthansa and Sata Azores. Emirates returns on the 15th I believe and others are returning between now and the end of August.

@@red_wing Thats not for me to judge or comment... but if I was to say anything I'd say, yes there are a lot of cases out there but how many of those get really sick is so low... I think its between a quarter to half a percent... you can't really do a lockdown for 99 people of 1 person is going to get really sick... by now people know that the ones who get really sick are the elderly and those with underlying conditions or immunity deficiency and those folks need to be very careful... but life must continue... if everyone stays at home until we have a vaccine there will not be a lot left... again thats my view...
@@justplanes you pretty much showed the point right there but i don't know maybe waiting for the vaccine is the right thing to do.....better safe than sorry after all.

it's funny seeing all the lonely men in this comment section talking about the captain. it's sad how aviation is turning into this big man vs. woman thing. only 5% of commercial pilots are female, that percentage actually went down. there simply will never be more women pilots than men, it just won't happen. also not to mention barely 2% of commercial female pilots are captains.

It's funny seeing all the lonely men in this comment section talking about the Captain. It's sad how aviation is turning into this big man vs. woman thing. Only 5% of commercial pilots are female, that percentage actually went down. There simply will never be more women pilots than men, it just won't happen. Also not to mention barely 2% of commercial female pilots are captains.
