ABOUT ROYAL JORDANIAN
On Dec. 15, 1963, RJ was established by a Royal Decree issued by His Majesty King Hussein, as the national air carrier of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Upon issuing the decree, King Hussein said: “I want our national carrier to be our ambassador of good will around the world and a bridge across which we exchange culture, civilization, trade, technology, friendship and better understanding with the rest of the world.”
Royal Jordanian shares started being listed on the Amman Stock Exchange in December 2007, after it privatized; Jordanians own majority shares and the company maintained its role as the national carrier of Jordan.
Ever since its establishment, RJ has been an essential contributor to the national economy, bringing in hard currency and playing a key role in attracting tourists from all over the world. It contributes 3% of the country's GDP.
Royal Jordanian's 58-year journey has been one of constant progress; during this time, it modernized its fleet, expanded its route network, trained human resources for more efficient work and updated its IT systems.
RJ continues its forward stride under the invaluable guidance of and directives from His Majesty King Abdullah, who generously lends support to the airline.
Royal Jordanian has a vision “To be the Airline of choice connecting Jordan and the Levant with the world”. It reaches more than 45 direct destinations.
Its headquarters are located in the heart of the capital, Amman, and its flights are operated from Queen Alia International Airport, with its vastly improved infrastructure and cutting-edge facilities. Royal Wings, an RJ subsidiary company, is dedicated to charter business.
Due to its reputation and in view of the international level of competitiveness, Royal Jordanian joined the oneworld airline alliance in 2007.
RJ is keen on introducing advanced, state-of-the-art operating systems that are used across the air transport industry, staying on par with global airlines. Other facilities are constantly introduced by RJ to make travel easier for its passengers, who in 2015 reached three million and were carried on 36,000 flights.

I eat aviation videos for breakfast, lunch and dinner and this is one of the best I've ever viewed. The Captain gives very detailed information on the flight planning and procedures and the filming is clear and sharp, the camera does not shake and nothing is out of focus.

I've flown RJ multiple times in the middle east and it was top notch every single time.
I like this pilot a lot, she is such a soft spoken person and so humble to ask and answer all the questions. Such a nice experience to watch her, hope to meet her sometime flying
I am not from the region, but Jordan is my favourite country in the Middle East.
And it's clearly seen from the attitude of the people there.

It's nice to see this video again (I think this is its third appearance), I'd regard this as being my second, all-time favourite, JP video. The captain seems a really nice lady, always seems very informative - I hope she's not subject here to any stupid, inappropriate and immature 'hot' 'hottie' comments (or even worse). Let's keep it clean, let's keep it respectful (decency costs nothing). The first officer comes across as a very respectful and well-mannered gentleman, and that's to his credit. Interesting to see another Embraer plane - they're not that often seen.
Leaving the God thing out, I see a very competent Captain, conducting a flight with a low time pilot. She is instructing him, keeping great cockpit discipline with great detail. Flawless. I wish I had one just like her back then... most enjoyable video,

First thank you for the video I truly enjoyed watching. I flew to Jordan with royal Jordanian airlines over twenty times during my 60 years on this earth to the point where I started to recognize the crew and the marshals on the flights. After 911 happened I stopped flying period. If I ever make a trip to Jordan again in this life time I sure hope you are piloting the plane. Thanks again what a fantastic crew💕

Never ceases to amaze me how much stick control goes on as they fight the cross winds..the stick is constantly being altered....A lot of figures used to maintain 100 % cross checking. She is a very able Captain..well, of course she is, or she would not be there.

So much paperwork--I'm glad when I fly everything is double checked by two people plus the ground support! I'm surprised so much is handled in English, even the signs in the crew center. Impressive video and people. Wish I could fly with you, and Aqaba would be a great destination!
