I think i heard you say on the brakes when you retracted the landing gear. I can tell you what happened to me back in 1994. i retired from the airlines after 35 years in 2023 and one of the planes i flew was the Saab 340. i flew the Saab 10k hours over 11 years and the plane i flew before the Saab was the Metro liner SA227 and i would tap the brakes to stop the wheels when the gear was retracted. So i tapped the brakes on the Saab also . The Saab has anti lock brakes. One night after takeoff when the gear was coming up i tapped the brakes and later after about an hour we noticed we had lost almost all the hydraulic fluid. Landed safely but had to get towed to the gate. The brake caliber on number 2 wheel had broken at the top and bottom and was completely missing. So maybe the sudden stop caused it to break and so i quit tapping the brakes. Thanks for the video.
Tapping the breaks is a good practice. The repeated extra stress on the gear due to gyroscopic procession when you don't tap the brakes has a far greater probability of causing a problem than the isolated incident you experienced. If you want to get an idea of how much extra force is required to retract the gear with the wheels spinning go fly something like a C model Mooney with manual gear and experience the difference yourself.

What all us old guys forget is how quickly the young brain of (our former) youth of a 20-somethings can absorb information, process it, and make decisions. Its Why the military always has used 20-somethings in this in new innovations in war tech. Us old guys' brains become inelastic, harder to train. Young brains learn, absorb, react, correct, repeat.
Agree . When I started fly I was 14. Friends at church had a plane and gave ma a great education. Funny thing I thought it was no big deal. Learning was super easy. And I soloed at 16. Had a stroke in my 40’s that ended my flying. Was good while it lasted
Dude all the militaries in the world use 20 year old kids because of their youth, inexperience and testosterone rush; they can go for dying easily 😂 you can not expect a 35-40 year old guy for dying because his brain start working and don’t go to war and die or became crippled for politics

I will ask the same question that I ask of all pilots who fly with friends or family. What would happen to your passengers if you were suddenly incapacitated after takeoff?
It’s a while since you asked this, but the Vision Jet has both an auto-land system and a whole craft parachute that will bring everyone back safely. He has very likely briefed his girlfriend on how to engage these systems. This is such a cool aircraft.
Definitely your an inspiration to you young people great job and the amazing focus to details with so much going on at same time, God bless and may you always have safe flights!
just came across your channel would watch 310 Pilot all the time they sold their plane and stopped filming, glad I found you guys, look forward to your adventures.

Yeah, but old guys have a wealth of knowledge and experience. That can't be bought.
@@dmack1827 but frequently don't realize when to stop being PIC as the reflexes and vision have deteriorated.
@@joelobryan1212 That has not been my experience as a check airman.
Dude all the militaries in the world use 20 year old kids because of their youth, inexperience and testosterone rush; they can go for dying easily 😂 you can not expect a 35-40 year old guy for dying because his brain start working and don’t go to war and die or became crippled for politics
Looked for videos about the vision jet in TH-cam and found this great channel. amazing video and very nice family and a very smart guy. Thumbs up 👍 and a big like from the other side of the ocean. You have a new subscriber. Big greets from EDDM and have a happy new year time 🛩️✌️
Great Job !!! .. thanks for sharing. great flight very professional !!!! All The Best !!!
Great job young man! You make me wish I had stayed in the Civil Air Patrol class many years ago!
Good job Blaze. You have a nice family.
*rich family
Random video pops into my recommendations, I never watch flight videos, figured I'd see what it was about. Then noticed you flying over my childhood home at @18:36
Love the Bible verse you put in this, awesome video please continue to post, i'm currently sitting on 130 hours 🙏
Luke 18:25
agreed!! when i saw the bible verse, i immediately followed his page. #morejesus
Great video!! And to answer your question about the gators in the Choctawhatcee Bay, YES, we live close to Shalimar on Garmier's Bayou and there are certainly gators in that brackish water where two creeks flow into the bayou in the back. I have seen a dolphin, a gator and a hammer head shark on on the same day without ever leaving the bay.
Great work young man! Not required for your operation, but I strongly recommend “sterile” flight deck below 10,000’ AGL. 👨✈️
Thanks for the tip!
Thanks for the fly along and excellent landing ……I will fly with you anytime….nicely done mate!
Great to see that God has blessed you Brother Blaze in a Cirrus JeT
Not so sure "God" has anything to do with this.
Love it Bud! How do you like the Vision Jet? ha Let us know! Keep up with the content! ;)
Let’s connect!
Love the jet thank you!
I’m quite impressed that you put Philippians 4:6 into this video. Well done. 😊
The stick is identical to the one that the Cirrus has, reminds me of my time in America doing my PPL :)
Loved the Bible verse addition. Just earned a new subscriber
Gonna have to hit the subscribe button after hearing this!! I haven't finished the video yet.
Awesome! Thank you!
Love the Cirrus. Own and fly a SR20 for almost 5 years now. Looking to move up to a 22 (non turbo) soon.
You have another subscriber (Canada)
Off your phone, enjoy what you are seeing!
Loved the video and i was impressed by how calm and focused you are flying the plane, at your age you are giving an extraordinary example to all young men, especially the ambitious ones to do good things in life and the good things are the ones that we do with pride. god bless and your beautiful family . greetings from Morocco.
A lot of us might think this is easy as it looks! True thing needs intelligent brain! I did my classes but I didn’t complete! 😢
One pilot to another - great flying. It's none of my business, but I know how much that Cirrus jet costs to own and operate and perhaps even more impressive than his flying skills is his ability to own such a beautiful aircraft. Not jealous - just amazed.
Looks like the jet is owned by the holding company of Dutch Bros Coffee, a group of nearly 1,000 coffee stands primarily on the west coast. Always good being born into a right family!
Loved the bible verse you shared very nice!
@westcoastflyer you made this fly like a ride at the park, great job, great skills and great airplane, I would love to get training in one of this. Thanks for share this video
god dayum son, I'll bet you've never slept in the back of a car shivering cold at nights. You better tell those parents of yours you love em everyday. You've got no idea what you have
Most folks haven’t had to do that.
@@nclaw441that is a insanely false statement you’ve just made.
@@nclaw441the majority of the world is poor, you are wrong and naive.
@@imthrillz5255 the majority of the world doesn’t have cars. But in this country, while there are homeless folks, they are not most people, which is what I was saying.
@@nclaw441 you just proved the point about majority of the world being poor in your first few words, lol.
Good job taking your time on that preflight check list.
I will ask the same question that I ask of all pilots who fly with friends or family. What would happen to your passengers if you were suddenly incapacitated after takeoff?
I second this question
It’s a while since you asked this, but the Vision Jet has both an auto-land system and a whole craft parachute that will bring everyone back safely. He has very likely briefed his girlfriend on how to engage these systems. This is such a cool aircraft.
How Kool ,so professional,Oklahoma is a great state been here 30 years ,grew up in Anaheim Hills , wouldn't change a thing ,keep up the great flying .
Wow, you have to be 16 to drive a car but only 12 to fly a jet. Prodigy showing how it's done.
Definitely your an inspiration to you young people great job and the amazing focus to details with so much going on at same time, God bless and may you always have safe flights!
Thank you!
A true professional
just came across your channel would watch 310 Pilot all the time they sold their plane and stopped filming, glad I found you guys, look forward to your adventures.
The reason they asked for a tight base was to keep you out of the Fort Sill airspace. Fort Sill is the home of Army Field Artillery. A bunch of high explosive artillery rounds and rockets shot daily. Not a place you want to fly over.
Living my dream! Closest I'll ever get is a 3 dof motion sim in my living room. Thanks for the ride along.👍
