Sheeeeit...I remember listening to "we're gonna party like its 1999 and thinking that is soooo far away....that was much gray hair and about 100 pounds ago
Was that split at 32:27 or a 43:22? Also, did the langerhans bovi packer bearings earcast into the center chunk as a result creating a vaminar vortex thru the inferior aspect of the quadrafascle turnslice? Just curious.
DAMN LOVE IT WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER. I'M SCARED TO ASK HOW MUCH $$$$, If you have to ask your pocket isn't deep enough. CONGRATS ON A BEAST OF A BUILD.
I've heard the term "party like it's 1999," but don't necessarily know what it means. I was born in 1997. Is that term because people were afraid of y2k so they said screw it, let's party since it's the last year of our lives?
Wow I didn't know this jeep was using the 8HP70! I didn't know it was a friendly transmission for swaps yet. This is exciting! So can we do hemi and 8HP swaps now?
wish i had the budget just for the stretch even lol. The jeepworks site says its like 100+ hours of chassis and body work to do this as a professional. That's a lot of money. Maybe some day..
they hve a 3.0 diesel but 2.8 seems better size under hood fit. 3.0 adds 400lbs taken straight from cargo, & exhaust is stupid bs underneath. 392 V8 I'll kill off 1st 1 off the line just out, but unless meets my mpg rules can't won't let happen to the death of dodge/jeep repeated violations. No rebellion will b tolerated any more ridiculous. Easy clearly painted lines.
So........8k for the motor, 3k for the transfer case, 4k a piece for the axles..........no idea what the stretch kit cost. 600 hours labor @25hr....15k. Suspension about another 3k. So, 33k not including incidentals such as paint, wheels, tires, and other armor bits. So 38-40k into a 10k Jeep..........I respect the cool. I respect the work. But damn fellas.......that’s a lot of money
Nice build. I think you should have spent all your time and cash on a better Jeep. CJ5, Cj7, Tj....At least with all the stuff you replaced it probably won't spontaneously catch fire 🔥. :P
Does this jk also have a 3 inch suspension stretch? I'm getting ready to do the 10 inch body and 3 inch suspension stretch and was just curious. Thanks
That Jeep is so sick!
What was the final cost of the entire build? If you dont mind me asking
What a clean job, well done guys 👍🏼👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it!

hi! Are you interested in testing new LED tail lights for JK?
Come on down to Central Oregon and try the Rim Butte trails.
What fenders are those?
nice! really 1st rate set up & quality product picks & work, spite & polish showing.
Fenders?
I actually agree with cooper and his T case thoughts. Makes sense brother.
Dave your a cool guy! Love watching what you got going on. I drive by your shop all the time. Fellow San Diego guy!!!!!!!!!!!!
The shop is in San Diego?!
Love the color!
so... sick. If y'all ever need a tj to do anything remotely close to this, let me know. Great job, God Bless America

For months now, Autozone, unrelentingly, has been working on a complex quantum equation in order to answer your question!

208miuwu- quick and dirty math, about $40,000 not counting the original vehicle
$90k
I like how you guys installed the tails on swapped sides so they're upside down. 😂 Subtle.
10 inch stretch? So it's an LJ JK? Cool!
Is that new ford grey paint color code?...
I really liked the "party like it's 1999" comment.
NICE JEEP! I would mount that hydro assist over the top of tie rod, before you rip it off on a rock.
I noticed the same thing.
How did you get the Cummins 2.8, the 8HP, and the JK to all talk to each other?
I really want to know as well.
I’ve seen a couple of adapter cables from one ECU to the other
Like some of the others that commented , I too would like know the make of the Fenders... TY
They look like Nemesis to me.
The length of it kind of makes it look like a 2d Cherokee if you ask me. Sweet build!
Man that's one beautiful beast!👌🥰👍
Huh anyone know who makes that rear number?
Hello
I have wrangler cj7
Can i make it jk or jl 2 door ???
Wow that turn out looking good
Did u make the boat side sliders ? Or do u carry them? Dave I know u like to boat side your trucks lol
@10:37 what roll cage add on is he using. im looking for exactly that
The front cage kit is from EVO Manufacturing, the rear half is included with the Jeep Works stretch kit used.
For those of us that don’t have $80-$100k laying around you can do a 6 to 8 inch suspension stretch and achieve the same affect for off-roading. 2-4K
Yea I stretched mine 14" for under $1000 lol.
Did the hardtop come with the kit or did you have to mod the top too
Same guy from dirt every day?
Yup, Dave. And most people think he should have his own show.
Glad I'm not the only one who was like "holy shit it's Dave!"
It’s a dream Jeep!
Whats the process on the stretching ? Cutting the frame ? Or what did u do? Did jeepworks supply the rear fender ?
And the hardtop. Sorry for this being too long i am really considering this from jeepworks
All of the above unfortunately. The frame, tub, and hardtop all most be lengthened. Overall, we were very happy with the outcome of the kit.
How does it feel for power on the highway ? Better than the 3.8 ?

What colour code is this?
What front bumper is that?
The tail lights were upside down. They actually look better that way though
awesome jeep
Did you go with what transfer case Atlas 2 or Atlas 4 3.21
I thought that Dave had his own shop?
Beautiful stretched jeep! Are those front fenders the odyssey or notorious
This build is amazing. I love it! Great job! 👏
Wow I didn't know this jeep was using the 8HP70! I didn't know it was a friendly transmission for swaps yet. This is exciting! So can we do hemi and 8HP swaps now?
What's the song from 2:05 to 2:59 though?
I would love to get my jeep built like that
can you recommend a place in the dc metro area?
I need to ask!! How much was spent to get that build working and looking that way?????
Probably over $50k. The transmission/ engine/ axles alone was easily $25k if not $30k. Then the stretch is like $15k
Who made the hard top? Did the jk come in a two door LJ style?
No, Jeep never make a stretched 2 door after the 2006 TJ Unlimited (LJ)...
Ya just cant leave well enough alone.Where are the rockwells
New to the channel but ,guessing, you done this kinda thing before, right!
wish i had the budget just for the stretch even lol. The jeepworks site says its like 100+ hours of chassis and body work to do this as a professional. That's a lot of money. Maybe some day..
Sick AF
Can yall install the ecodiesel in a jku yet or is the 4bt a better engine
It's the 2.8 cummins not the 3.9. I too would like to see a ecodiesel swap junkyard style
Prince. 1999 end of the world.
Wow I like your setup 🤙🏾
1/6/2021' yeap!

The skinny guy reminds me of Jesse from the fast and the furious
those axel C's are some serious USDA beef
USDA GRADE *A* BEEFY BROTHER
Wow shop much awesome $$ and love right there and I can't even afford a jeep at all lol. Been shopping for a year and your not helping
RIP prince
Hi your user superchips programmer ,that brant

Damn I need unlimited money
Then stop watching TH-cam videos and go make some! Oh sorry, came on a little strong..
Dude. Watching you, you really are a Dude- helps that you really smart too! Nothing weird, just really cool video! what size is your Biceps?... LOL
So........8k for the motor, 3k for the transfer case, 4k a piece for the axles..........no idea what the stretch kit cost. 600 hours labor @25hr....15k. Suspension about another 3k. 9.5" travel....
Easily 25k in this build
The JeepWorks website states that a JKL turnkey conversion starts at $12,500.
25K for axles, shafts, wheels n tires, and steering and maybe the winch.
You are looking closer to 100k on this .
Nice build. I think you should have spent all your time and cash on a better Jeep. CJ5, Cj7, Tj....At least with all the stuff you replaced it probably won't spontaneously catch fire 🔥. :P
What am I doing with my life, is this is what some people do for a living?
Ted- these builds are few and far between. They do brakes, oil changes, and puck lifts like everyone else
To Old
Can anyone help me source out the roll cage they were using ?
The front cage kit is from EVO Manufacturing, the rear half is included with the Jeep Works stretch kit used.
What was the bumper brand?
Does this jk also have a 3 inch suspension stretch? I'm getting ready to do the 10 inch body and 3 inch suspension stretch and was just curious. Thanks
