      Thanks, glad you enjoyed it, believe it or not it was one of the most time consuming videos I’ve ever edited

    my question for you and Andrew is: Between your TJ and Andrew's rig whose has had the most break downs that couldn't be fixed and had to be towed home?

    • @ChuckHolt
      @ChuckHolt  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Andrew for sure

      Actually HighTower has always made it home albeit sometimes broken. And the Beaver had to be trailered home one time in Naches. Amy came to the rescue.

      @@Countrysauce what about when matt had to tow you when it wouldn't start on 6600?

    Cool to see the Beaver up close, I like that tank mod 👍

    • @ChuckHolt
      @ChuckHolt  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It took both amy and I a lot of heating it, ratchet strapping it in the skid plate, letting it cool, rinse repeat.

      @@ChuckHolt sounds like a pain but definitely cheaper than buying a new tank!

    Did you do all the fab work yourself?!

      I’ve done most of the measuring, cutting and tack welding, but then I usually bring stuff to my buddy Steven redd for the weld out portion of stuff since he is the expert.

    Does the 6spd transmission bolt right in? use the same transfer case etc?

    • @ChuckHolt
      @ChuckHolt  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, if you get one from a 05-06 it bolts right in, you do have to use the 05-06 crank position sensor and plug and wire it up to your harness but that’s only 3 wires

      @@ChuckHolt awesome! thanks for the reply! as I only run 4.10's I thought that might be a good swap but never thought of it until you said you liked it

    On the 6 speed swap. I have a 2000 with a 5 speed NV3550 stock transfer case with SYE, 44/60 5.38 on 37s. I'd like to have a lower crawl gear. Is it better to swap in a rubicon transfer case or 6 speed? I guess I'm asking if the 6 speed is much better than the 3550.

    • @ChuckHolt
      @ChuckHolt  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The Nv3550 already has a pretty low 1st gear at 4:1, the 6 speed is a little lower at 4.46:1, but the difference between a stock T case and Rubi T case is much more, you would be better off swapping to a Rubi case

    What is your transmission related nickname?

    What front bumper is that?

    • @ChuckHolt
      @ChuckHolt  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s a cheap smittybilt one that was on it when I bought the jeep, all I have done to it was welded on plates that extend back to the sway bar bolt holes so it could grab those and be a little more secure while winching
