That Jeep should go to SEMA! Man, that is one amazing build. And as for Slick Rock! Yea! That's my favorite trail also up in the sierras. The Con is fun and challenging, but long and crowded a lot of the time. Slick Rock not so much. It is a short trail in comparison but it has a lot going for it. It's a fun trail to run. I am sure the trial won't open this year (2019) before May/June at the earliest with all the snow this year. The snow pack up there is about 150% of normal this year now. When you do go, hit the trial early and set up camp at the granite slabs when you reach them. There is a stream that flows through the slab area with nice spots throughout for camping. The slabs are located at the top of the trail, near Alpine Lake. Most people run the trail up from Spicer Reservoir Rd, off CA hwy 4. There is also (pay) camping at Alpine lake, but that is a private campground/lodge type facility. It is nice a option though if the slab area is taken when you get there.
I used to run slick rock both ways from utica reservoir to alpine and back in the 90’s all the time in my cj5 and also my full size Bronco.. hardly anyone up there and you could camp anywhere at Utica reservoir.....how times have changed with so many people up there...
Adam is not one of those guys who will disparage a manufacturer. As far as what he does in rain. He drives it. Including driving back from Washington state in the rain. He calls the rain his portable car wash. The jeep is lined inside for it. His buddy hooked him up on that. It has been a blast watching him take Titan from humble start to what you see. Have driven it several times and can confirm no loud noises from lights. As far as the brakes. If they even show sign of fade or issues. They are replaced. I can't even imagine how much money has been spent on this Jeep. Seems like a cool guy.
Excellent rig. Well done video too! I have a real interest in building up a short wheel based jeep. Not sure how to search for that sub-set effectively. Do any of you have links to cool builds that you could share with me? Thanks!
I bet the mods will be the same, but it is more fun for me to be looking at what I am hoping to build. I suspect there will be some other considerations considering the short wheelbase like perhaps 37" tires are too big? I have had Jeeps with 35s and would like to go a wee bit bigger, but nobody around here is pushing 37s.
i’m not sure, are those Kc lights?
Great walk around of this Jeep. It is one awesome rig. Very well put together. It was super cool meeting both of you over the weekend at TDS. Keep up the great work!
Adam did a great job putting this together! Glad we got a chance to meet!
JEEP GENERATION like wise. Looking forward to EJS
Did he say what he runs on his rear axle? It it D60?
Was this video before or after the rollover he had in 2020?
