I bought my first Tesla back in August (Model 3 2024) and by chance saw one of your videos. Love your effort and dedication and especially your dry humor. Keep up the good work!
I took delivery of my Model Y 30 days ago, but when I got my Vin and it listed it as a 2025 I was pleasantly surprised. I did go with the 20 inch wheels so I knew I would receive the 305 max range, its why I didn't go with the AWD or bigger wheel (I needed the range cause of my commute, but I didn't like the 19 inch wheels).. I came from BMW, my lease was ending so I had to make a purchase, I knew I wanted to buy a EV and I had been saving to pay in full, Having the 20 inch wheel, I like a bigger rim but also as you mention it has a sporty tighter handling so it felt familiar to me and I was again pleasantly surprised, as I ordered mine without a test drive. I have to say, I did just get mine back last week from getting a full PPF Matte/Satin wrap (on the White Exterior) it looks so clean! And the last point I will make is I watched a ton of TH-cam videos on how to use a checklist and take delivery, build quality concerns and sound proofing, and I just haven't experience it yet, maybe something will happen later that Ill have to get tesla to fix, but maybe with the 2025 models and the refresh coming out they have really made an effort to make sure the builds are solid. Super happy with my purchase and thanks for the content. PS. I am thinking maybe adding some of the sound proofing kits that I have seen, for a slightly quieter drive on the highway, but also, I haven't added a spoiler yet, I don't know if I want it. I just love seeing the white matte PPF hit the shape of the truck without a black spoiler breaking it up. I've even considered just buying to see what it looks like in person and then deciding if I am evening going to put it on...
Don't forget the Military discount(for those that qualify), my friend used that & stacked my referral for the extra $1k making the total discount $9,500
I sold my 22 model3 LR mostly because my wife was complaining that she was having a hard time gitting in and out the car doe to our age, Also I really never liked the suspension. A lttle too hard for me. So I looked at the 2025 model Y and I thought that the deal to lease the car was pretty good. I never leased a car in my life. So I did lease a 25 model y AWD long range. What I am mostly pleased is the suspension. Great improvement ! I love it. Even my wife loves the car over the model 3. The only thing that bothers me is that I swore that I would never buy a Tesla again and I had to swallow my pride/YouI know what I mean.
You should look into what the new EPA testing has done and how it's made EPA range even more useless than it was. They benchmark the car in it's best and worst drive mode and then average it. Long distance range doesn't care about the drive mode, as you are maintaining speed and not flooring it all the time. The EPA test has lots of acceleration in it which is affected by drive mode a LOT.
I find the handling of my 2023 MY LR AWD with 19" wheels quite adequate, and I wouldn't want it much rougher on bad roads. No way I'd put the 20" wheels on it -- besides, I like the range bump I get with the smaller wheels, and they were cheaper :)
What is your Venmo or other tips link? I’ve bought wheels, tires, and floor mats based on your recommendations and I gotta say, they are legit. Thanks for the good work.

Gjeebs. Do you know if all the 2025 my are getting the face lift that a lot of the videos are showing or if they will have the same body style of the 24? It doesn’t matter much, but I just ordered a 25 my awd and was wondering which to expect. That being said either is fine but the one I’m seeing on vids, which could be the juniper specifically, looks very sleek.

Yes I do but only because there will be left over inventory of the current build Model Y. if you look at their current inventory it's discounted already
@Gjeebs You may be seeing that in the USA, but unfortunately, I'm not seeing it in Ireland. However, I'll hold out buying until the Juniper is released.
Nothing that breaking news worthy here. Tesla range numbers are somewhat accurate only if you drive no more than 65-70mph and charge the lithium ion battery to 100 percent.
