Great test! Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ⛄️❄️ Did a 400-mile round trip from Vancouver WA to Edmonds WA for a Christmas Eve family get-together on v13.2.2. Only 1 disengagement, and that was just before getting home, turning into my neighborhood! It is so amazing with city lane merges and roundabouts, hundreds of miles of I5 including 80mph driving and stop and go driving (in Seattle), then neighborhood driving and errands around Edmonds. The disengagement was because the turn into my neighborhood is from a suicide lane where you can turn in both directions. This instead of a dedicated turn lane, and it, for some reason, won't get into the suicide lane to make the turn. Silly error by FSD. Also rained on the drive home heavily 3 times, and fsd never gave up. It reduced its top available speed during the heavy rains and moved over to the slowest lane, but was able to at least stay at the speed limit. Sped back up again as the rain eased off to full hurry mode speed and performance!
Sometimes I forget how spoiled we are that the vehicle manufacturer supports the vehicles via software updates for years on end. The legacy brands could never 👏

I upgraded to FSD 13.2.2 this week, and previously had been running some of the most recent FSD 12 builds. I'm very impressed, and this past Monday (12/23, or as Seinfeld fans know it, Festivus), I tried it out in less-than-ideal weather conditions. Dark, rainy, but knowing the possibility of freezing rain, I kept my hands on the wheel just to be absolutely safe. No disengagements. Lane changes are so much smoother. Once I got off the interstate and observed conditions worsening, I intentionally took full control and disengaged FSD. I wasn't ready to test out FSD in freezing rain. Nevertheless, I vote you take the plunge and just get FSD rather than subscribing. Hope you had a merry Christmas!
That's probably not going to happen... Optimus robot should have fsd capabillities installed as default hopefully, when those became available in 4 to 5 years for sale imo. Merry Christmas. 🎅 🎄
I would be happy with even a 1 time transfer and then future transfers at a slight fee. Basically, having any sort of transfer is better than none at all.
I am getting delivery of a model 3 awd lr tomorrow at 10am , i cant wait, i test drove one with the FSD update and it drives so good, i didn't care about the model 3 performance since i already have a fast car , i just needed a daily driver for me and the wife so we don't put so many miles on her BMW Or the GT-R
Nice video. Not a criticism, I enjoy your insights. I tend to think prices could go higher if XAI320 rockets. But understand the logic for sandbagging estimates. My opinion is XAI320 breaks 1, perhaps reaches 10 ATH, if conditions are right. But broader forces are at play now. We’re moving into really unknown territory. And these entities are shrewd. I think there’s massive manipulation ahead. If XAI320 survives that, well, we’re likely in for a good pump.
13.2.2 is really, really good. My brother visited (anti tech) and when the car broke a little later than he'd like during a bus transitioning into our lane, I had to bite my tongue and NOT mention that when he was driving us the previous day, he had me confused about what he was doing on several occasions. Not bad like dangerous, but neither was this. There was never a chance the car was gonna run into the bus or anything. And, like a lot of drivers, when he looks over his shoulder to check for lane availability, the car veers around a tad. obviously, the Tesla doesn't do that when self driving. I felt way safer with self driving honestly, than when he drove.
I was use the FSD update in LA yesterday, and one thing I notice it doing is when there is big dips in the road in intersections, the car would slow down as it passes over the dip like a human would so you don't bounce hard in the car or so the bottom of the car doesn't hit the dip, i was pleasantly surprised, there is one weird spot, where there is a left turn at a light, there are 2 left turn lanes but one of the lanes extends to a second intersection/second light 100 yards ahead of the first one.. So the car should have turned at the first light (gotten in the far left turn lane) and not drive to the second light, but it didn't, it basically got in the wrong turn lane and I had to take over. But I haven't trusted in major rush hour LA city traffic but it did really well. I was very happy, the thing for me it kept slamming the breaks for "Yellow" lights but with the new update it would drive through the yellow light instead of aggressively breaking. I use the subscription and ill be using it a lot more with this new update. Its still too aggressive with breaking and acceleration on the highways so I only use Autopilot. I wish while in full FSD Tesla would allow you to set the car distance like you can in Autopilot, I think that would solve a lot of the FSD aggressive breaking and acceleration on the highway in LA bumper to bumper traffic.
One thing that really impressed me is that FSD actually parked for me in my driveway now. I tested it last night and didn't think it would park on the driveway since there are already 2 cars there and the 3rd spot is all the way to the right. It did not reverse in, so I ended up backing out and reversing back in so I can charge, but other than that, that was a pretty neat surprise.
Agree on parking being hit or miss. Once it pulled into my driveway. Another time it stopped halfway in the driveway (a residual snow bank may have made it cautious), and another time it signaled and pulled off the road, parallel parking opposite the driveway. Three times arriving home, three different solutions from it. But like many other things FSD once couldn't do, but does now, arrival parking will get better. I do wish that I could actively direct it to a particular parking spot when arriving at a shopping plaza without disengaging FSD and then separately invoking the parking thing.
Hey man I doubt you’ll see this, but yesterday I just picked up what was probably one of the last 2024 M3P as my first Tesla/ev. Your thorough and well thought out videos definitely helped me out a lot & your checklist came in super handy. Thanks again for all that you do for the community
It won’t cross solid whites, but it still knew the car behind was letting you go, and it knew that the car behind was aware of you and what you were doing. Anything done there would have been illegal, but it was still safe in this case since the only people to worry avout cutting off are the people in the turn lane and they already knew of what you were doing.
I had a similar experience night before last. FSD drove me from Sparks Nevada down to Carson City and I could hardly tell a difference between how it drove and how I drive. Accelerations and breaking or extremely natural.
The money quote is - if you're travelling and you don't know where you're going, get the FSD upgrade. I find myself doing that with it all the time - its nice not trying to suss out streets, traffic, etc. and its proved to be useful. Even with my HW3 model 3.
I have never been more interested in a Tesla. I have not ready yet to purchase a new vehicle but I am definitely very interested in the new model Y coming next year
21:53 Hah, hah! It's done that to me too. Just bullied its way in throwing out rules of the road & laws. It's made me nervous and most of the time I've disengaged but I've never felt endangered.
It can park itself when you arrive but it's hit or miss and mostly miss right now. I went to a family's house for Xmas Eve and it arrived at their house, pulled into the driveway to turn around and parked on the street. Incredibly smooth and fast. Like a human.
I’ve been driving around NYC, during rush hour, rain, at night, just throwing everything I can at it, and I have to say it’s very impressive. Even fighting its way across lanes in heavy traffic, it’s nice and assertive and manages to push its way through! The only thing I think can be improved is lane selection, in Manhattan for example a lot of people double park in the left lane but the car will insist on staying in the left lane because it thinks it’s the passing lane, only to get stuck behind a double parked car. Other than that, the only times it makes mistakes is when the navigation data is out of date (eg map says there are two turn lanes but there’s only one, and it picks the wrong one). I’ve also seen it be a bit too hesitant around slightly moving obstacles (pedestrians who haven’t committed to crossing the street, but are clearly planning to shortly, or a car in front looking for a spot to parallel park, etc).
I always like your videos and I see we use the same Blue Ash dealership. I have V4 hardware and I find V13 spooky good, especially in Hurry mode. You nailed it when you noted that it responds better than most humans in tight situations as it's sees everything going on around the car all--the-time, allowing it to be quick and decisive. Which, honestly, I do find a bit spooky and took me a little getting used to as, with V12, I was quicker most of the time. On night trips between Louisville and Cincinnati on dark stretches, I've also noted the little red possible FSD degradation messages due to the cameras in low light conditions are now completely gone. V13 is just so much smooother and mimics the way I actually tend to drive. You also nailed it when you mentioned that you didn't know how to get to Denver but the car did. It's wicked good at that and very quick, especially on those stupid combined merge/exits ramps. V13 is also much better in inclement weather. The only time I got "red hands" then was, you guessed it, on the interstate, behind/besides semis with their thick water spray. But it's also no better than the maps it has. For example, at a minty fresh interchange in the Louisville area, the car's maps were wrong, showing the old interchange, not the new one. The car promptly missed the turn off, went through the new cross hatched marking on the right, got back into the right hand lane before trying to exit using the remnants of old exit, which is now closed. Of course, I had to intervene, otherwise we would have driven right off the road and into rubble. But that's why it's called supervised. Keep up the good commentary.
20:34 lol my wife just made that comment a couple days ago. Something like "Funny how 'Teslas are ugly' but look at that new Prius right there it looks like a wannabe Tesla... done badly". 😂🤙
It does pull into to parking spot sometimes on its own, but Tesla devs said that it's random for now and that they will add the option to pull in front of the destination or to park at the destination in the next version.
I'm very impressed I'm watching in South Africa, I think its phenomenal technology and I'm a machine learning student and I'm very keen to know where this technology will take us, and I trust that it will operate error free and save people from human errora
It really doesn't seam to do well in bad weather, slushy snow lately where I live and the cameras are always complaining they are obstructed. There are 2 spots were I live that it has no clue what the speed limit is and just drops to 25 which is scary as hell when that happens and people are behind you. 4 way stop intersection also gives it some WTF do I do moments. The other one is sometimes at night when it goes under bridges it wants to drop out of FSD, no idea why. FSD is pretty damn good, but where I live it still has some learning.
If you want to increase the chances of it parking straight from driving, then place the destination pin not at the front door, but actually in the parking lot itself, at least that's what I have gathered from watching numerous FSD Videos. Marry Christmas from Germany 🇩🇪
A friend took me for a drive in his recently, and the car did the same thing wanting to ignore the lane rules when it had picked the wrong lane to get through an intersection. He intervened and did the right thing, which is to go around and not be a complete tool by cutting into traffic from the wrong lane in the middle of an intersection. Absolutely needs that part to be fixed. It drives like it has no memory of the lanes or traffic patterns. Like a new person to town. It is already pretty good, but give it memory like an experianced driver in an area and it may be ready for primetime.
As someone who gets extremely car sick, FSD was never a product for me. I have to drive myself everywhere to not get sick. The most I can tolerate is cruise control but I still need to actively keep myself in the lane, so no advanced cruise control.
The new V13 seemed a little glitchy to me, the car would slow down out of the blue, maybe a configuration issue between the % and offset. Also the car liked to stay closer to the right hand lane than staying in the middle. Did not recognize “better” route inside private neighborhood. Continuing tests.
Yes, my 25 MY wants to stay in the right lane. I'll manually signal over to the middle and then the car will just want to go over to the right. Not sure why but it likes the right lane!
Wish how hard it stopped was controllable. I’d like it to never use brakes and pure regen to slow. Also allows more margin in case you’re nervous about the computer doing it. In general, you want fsd to be MORE cautious than you’d be at all times. But last fsd I used was during last free trial which i think was September
I'm dying to get V13. One thing I don't like is FSD almost exclusively uses the breaks instead regen which will incur needing break pads more than normal. I usually switch off when breaking. I do love all the features and still wondering if it's worth $100/mo but I wish I could do something to get V13 asap.
Tried FSD in town. It's like letting a 5 year old drive. It made mistakes and disengaged enough times, that it became too stressful to wait for the next mistake. Not if, but when. Good on highway, not in town.
Tesla just removed the “Minimize lane change” feature for FSD. This sucks cuz FSD is so aggressive with lane changes, and I almost don’t feel comfortable using FSD now
It's okay, but it does have trouble finding its way out of shopping plaza parking lots, especially parking lots that have multiple entrances and exits as to what's the *best* way to exit, though I suppose people have difficulty with that too when they're in a new-to-them shopping center.
He has the new 2024 model 3 performance. As an owner of the same car who has had to get a few loaner cars of the older models, it is night and day difference in real world usage between the new and old. Steering, screen, materials, drive - everything is so much worse. Tesla really nailed it with the highland imo
v13 is good but not great. My car always tries to move into on ramps like they are an additional lane and does not realize that it's a lane that ends. It even has to dash back over the rumble strips to get back into the lane it just left! It will not avoid anything in the road, potholes, drives right over them, debris, better be ready to manually steer around it. It hugs the white lines on the highway now when passing transports instead of giving room to the outside like it did in preveous patches, today I was driving on the highway and the roads were clear but the side of the road had some buildup of some snow by the yellow line and the car drove right into it making my have to take over to avoid losing control so it's unlikely to follow any lines in the snow. Literally any bad weather, it can't deal with very well. It complains that the side cameras are occluded when it's just dark out. I can't see how FSD unsupervised will ever be a thing with just vision alone, because the cars vision isn't all that great!! At the end of the day, it's awesome in perfect conditions, but it's still nowhere near as good as a human driver!
I woke up the other day for work and was relieved that I didnt have to drive (for the most part. Lets not call it perfect.) But I def feel more like a passenger than a driver. 😂 I cannot wait for masses to wake up to this.
do you think Tesla might introduce a Wake-name (preferably custom) to initiate an audio command? on a test drive gave up at times to push turn signal button because steering wheel disorientation, needs planning… especially on a roundabout! “Tesla, left turn signal”
I have 2025 Model Y w latest version of supervised FSD but get frequent warnings to wiggle the steering wheel to avoid FSD disengaging. Why dont I see those warnings in your videos?
That is so cool. I wish we could get FSD outside of the US. I'm in Japan and I don't see the regulators allowing something like that anytime soon. Sucks to have all the hardware and not be able to even try it out.
So bad we don't get to have this in Europe, it's going to take ages to be regulated... Love your videos, just a suggestion, you could mirror the front camera, looks like you're driving in the UK😂
That illegal left turn in front of the nice Kia, could it be because you had Hurry mode activated? Because if you really are in a hurry (late to the airport for example) you might want to do that illegal yet safe manoeuvre to avoid a long detour.
So while I didn't get my FSD trial till yesterday. I think its because I didn't update to the Christmas update. People were getting theirs 2-3 days before but I held off on updating because every time I was driving with my hotspot it would take a while to update. Let it fully download last night and right after it finished I got the FSD trial email and ends Jan 24. Interesting... I wonder if I hold off on the next update if I can push it at a later time lol

V13 is pretty shocking indeed. So confident. Dare I say cocky confidence cuz it has 8 eyes as u said . Mind blowing

@@ProXcaliber a transfer fee would be reasonable but also selling a new car is a good incentive for the company.
Nice stable you got! The AWD is quick too though.
I just went coast to coast, ~4k miles, ~10 takeovers... insane... it's impossible to make it go slow tho lol
Good point. Passengers are the real test.
The parking is still a hit or miss, it will be properly implemented in a coming update
I’m waiting this video to end so that I can go outside and upgrade it to V13.
Hey man I doubt you’ll see this, but yesterday I just picked up what was probably one of the last 2024 M3P as my first Tesla/ev. Your thorough and well thought out videos definitely helped me out a lot & your checklist came in super handy. Thanks again for all that you do for the community
Knew something changed when I engaged it for the first time with the free trial... I'm loving it
It won’t cross solid whites, but it still knew the car behind was letting you go, and it knew that the car behind was aware of you and what you were doing.
It's consistently pulled into driveways for me and parked, just not in actual parking lots
Calling it now. 2025 holiday update includes Hobo Avoidance Mode. With any luck, more of a summer update.
gives new meaning to going HAM 🤣🤣🤣
I love how you broke down the XAI320 project in your video! Can’t wait to see it skyrocket!
20:34 lol my wife just made that comment a couple days ago. Something like "Funny how 'Teslas are ugly' but look at that new Prius right there it looks like a wannabe Tesla... done badly".
😂🤙
First time viewer. Entertaining video. Just subscribed. Keep it going!
It does pull into to parking spot sometimes on its own, but Tesla devs said that it's random for now and that they will add the option to pull in front of the destination or to park at the destination in the next version.
the nice thing about 13.2.2 is that it will usually pull into a parking spot automatically, and it also goes in front first! Not always though..
I'm very impressed I'm watching in South Africa, I think its phenomenal technology and I'm a machine learning student and I'm very keen to know where this technology will take us, and I trust that it will operate error free and save people from human errora
I really like your style of commentary. You have mastered speaking to the camera as though there was a good friend off-camera in the back seat.
FSD 13 seems smoother to me so far. Love how the car is evolving as I own it.
Elon Vader: "I find your lack of faith disturbing" (makes clenching gesture in the air, choking sounds are heard)
That’s mild compared to what I see here. It must be a dead zone for FSD users. I just can’t deal with it anymore.
Just to make sure, you're on v13?
He said we can put our referral in the comment section. Let me know if you’re interested. Thanks bro!
16:50, since the bend was going left, from the car computers perspective, it never turned “right” into the adjacent lane. It just turned less left.
As someone who gets extremely car sick, FSD was never a product for me. I have to drive myself everywhere to not get sick. The most I can tolerate is cruise control but I still need to actively keep myself in the lane, so no advanced cruise control.
12:17 gauging the turn at the yellow was seriously impressive
I use the monthly subscription of FSD and it is amazing! I worry that I will forget how to drive. 😂
XAI320 going up like crazy! Pick up around 0.67 and now it’s hit $1! I wish i had bought more!
Yea your video quality is top and i really enjoy your content.
Can't believe I almost missed out on XRP and XAI320! Thanks for the heads-up in your video!
Hey Jeremiah i love your videos,
Im buying a performance tomorrow
Congrats! Hope his referral worked for you or you had another to get that extra money off 😁
I'm from France so I don't have tax crédit
925€/month
Wish how hard it stopped was controllable. I’d like it to never use brakes and pure regen to slow. Also allows more margin in case you’re nervous about the computer doing it. In general, you want fsd to be MORE cautious than you’d be at all times.
But last fsd I used was during last free trial which i think was September
I completely saw this XAI320 pump coming, never a doubt!
Nice review, I am going to try the FSD later today on my MY that is 3 week old, vin is a 2025 MY, Merry Christmas
13.2.2 is awesome. It’s been a couple of weeks since I last needed to take over.
I'm dying to get V13. One thing I don't like is FSD almost exclusively uses the breaks instead regen which will incur needing break pads more than normal. I usually switch off when breaking. I do love all the features and still wondering if it's worth $100/mo but I wish I could do something to get V13 asap.
got a free trial again and haven't really had the chance to test it. this is for sure promising.
Tried FSD in town. It's like letting a 5 year old drive. It made mistakes and disengaged enough times, that it became too stressful to wait for the next mistake. Not if, but when. Good on highway, not in town.
I really enjoy your videos. Very informative.
Tesla just removed the “Minimize lane change” feature for FSD. This sucks cuz FSD is so aggressive with lane changes, and I almost don’t feel comfortable using FSD now
Just bought a model y in Canada four days ago. Referral link is active if you need :)
You got yourself a new subscriber. Thanks, brother, to help us put our referrals.
Pretty sad my 2022 can't do v13. But waiting for Juniper Model Y and I'll likely lease that one and get rid of mine.
Not to mention that if someone’s planning on doing something to my car I don’t want them to say “oh. Better hide my face”.
XAI320 wins! Utility and superior speed, I’m all in! 🚀🚀🚀 GO XAI320!
It's okay, but it does have trouble finding its way out of shopping plaza parking lots, especially parking lots that have multiple entrances and exits as to what's the *best* way to exit, though I suppose people have difficulty with that too when they're in a new-to-them shopping center.
Nice demo. Quick question - does your M3 tell you “Apply steering force”?
I believe they removed that requirement in newer models that can follow your eyes and check that you’re concentrating.
I bought a used 2023 MY in September and now I’m so jealous. I hope HW3 cars will get FSD 13.
In your opinion, XAI320 for $10? 1 year or so?
Put the pin of navigation not on the store but on the parking and see what it does. Sometimes it park inside parking spots
DAMN! Those multi-lane-changes were VERY impressive. One illegal maneuver but, otherwise, incredibly good.
I do want a “Robot Driver” sticker for the bumper of my model 3. Like the yellow “Student Driver” sticker.
I wouldnt suggest it. Better to blend in as v13 is capable of. A robotaxi sticker makes it more likely for FSD to get bullied
which tesla year and model is he driving? i saw a model y 2023 video and the steering wheel and screen looks bad on those compared to this.
He has the new 2024 model 3 performance. As an owner of the same car who has had to get a few loaner cars of the older models, it is night and day difference in real world usage between the new and old. Steering, screen, materials, drive - everything is so much worse. Tesla really nailed it with the highland imo
What Camera mount are you using to stick to the windshield?
20:35 I once said the newest Prius looked like Model 3, and I got slammed. 😂😂
Even in the volatility, I still see XAI320 coming out strong 🚀
Can’t wait until I can afford fsd, curious how it is in Australia
17:15 your comment about BMW profile. Love that. I want those types of profiles. And for parking. BMW drivers take two spots...FSD can do that too. 😂😂
I have this version of FSD also as a free trial and it is better than the previous one
v13 is good but not great.
Curious why you want the new Y coming out over your Perfomance 3?
I have 2025 Model Y w latest version of supervised FSD but get frequent warnings to wiggle the steering wheel to avoid FSD disengaging. Why dont I see those warnings in your videos?
It only gets better from here.
Where is this drive taking place?
Hopefully picking mine up in the next few days
Is it too late to buy XAI320 at $0.90?
That is so cool. I wish we could get FSD outside of the US. I'm in Japan and I don't see the regulators allowing something like that anytime soon. Sucks to have all the hardware and not be able to even try it out.
How does it perform at night?
How did you rent a car with paid FSD upgrade? I would 100% do that next time I travel, but have no clue anyone offered this.
Merry Christmas! V13 is awesome
The no turn signal thing was interesting
Very nice ride, and so smouth i am impressed, hopefully Europe is soon next for fsd. enjoy the holdays.
