    🙏 Thank you Dr Perry for putting this stuff out for everyone, not hiding it behind some kind of paywall. I'm sitting here watching this with my own copy of the Anatomy Trains textbook for reference lol, your work continues to help me on the path of self-healing.

      What is the best exercise book to accompany Anatomy Trains?

    • @tarp11z

      @@catherinemurray2211Tom Myers wrote it. You can get it from Amazon new, or possibly Abebookes used. Great book, but it lacks for exercises to help the areas. I'm currently looking for a book or TH-cam channel which accompanies the Anatomy Trains book.

    Wow! The blood flow released! I love this! You need to teach this to all surgeons so they don't screw up the lymphatic system. When chemo port was put in it really screwed up my right side. I think it messed up my meridian flow and cut lymphs. Thank you. ❤

    Yes, hi, I massage these places ever since I saw your other videos about the importance of keeping the facia and the lymphatic system in good shape. "Start always at the collar bone" you said, so I do that. I have such a drill massage machine from which you say "better not use it on this area". I agree half, it is working underneath the collar bones (with a small towel in between), but indeed, like you say, just not in that hollow above it. That's also the part that is giving me trouble. On the right hand side it feels normal in there, but on the left hand side it's like it's full with hard stuff, tendons I think. And that's also the side where I have an area of pain and restricted flexibility in the neck, bit to the front. I had twice in one year a car accident, whiplash. That is decades ago, but ever since my left shoulder is higher than the right one and the collar bone is drawn up and to the back.
    Massaging that place feels horrible. You think that in this case such a massage tool as you showed in the video will work?
    Wonderful video by the way. The neck area is a miracle with all what's passing through there. A wonder it gives trouble in many people😳 Save your neck, it's vital!!

    When I first started getting active, one of the very first things I noticed was how limited my flexibility was, in basically all areas of my body. I thought stretching would be the cure to this, but no matter what I did, I still had a few, very specific areas that remained extremely tight and incredibly tender. This led me to begin researching trigger points and I learned that my most debilitating one was right around the bottom of my collar bone, on the end closest to the middle of my chest. It had a significant impact on my range of motion of my arms, my shoulders, my neck...pretty much any movement I made in my upper body. I'm fairly certain that it was caused by me being a side sleeper all my life. I used to wake up most mornings and my collar bone would feel "stuck". I had to pull my shoulder down while stretching my head and neck in the opposite direction and all of a sudden, i would have this huge, deep pop in my collar bone and, suddenly, it would feel "unstuck". It had been years since I started sleeping only on my back, but I never did anything to reset the tissues in that area, so I just kept having problems. Around the same time I started getting more active, I also started a daily facial massage routine that also focused on the neck, shoulders, clavicle, chest and armpits. Ultimately, it was that massage that finally released all of those tissues enough for me to finally be able to stretch that whole area effectively. It took awhile. It wasn't an overnight fix and it's still a routine that I have to do regularly to prevent the tightness and tenderness around my collar bone from coming back, but man, is it worth it!! I feel so much better than I did before and, bonus, the better lymphatic drainage has me looking years younger!!

    What frequency rate is that ball doing, 10 Hz., and the range?
    There was a website called Quantum Touch, it taught how practicing vibrational touch enabled healing, and combined with pressure/massage along with it. I apply this to the big six.
    Also, the body seems to respond better with crosswise motion, up, down and left, right, alternating. Even when doing the tapping or slap motions, with large, and micro motions especially. The smaller the area is that's worked on, the better the gains.

    Should this help with circulation and stop my Right hand from getting colder?

    • @stopchasingpain
      @stopchasingpain  หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Yes this may help. Likely circulation. Check your blood pressure on both arms and see if there is a difference. Anything of 10mm hg difference indicates issue with circulation and nerves. You may have too much vasoconstriction on the colder side.

    Question: do we know for sure that it’s actually 75% of the limp draining into the thoracic? Is that figure based on the actual volume of lymph? Where does that figure come from the size of the regions for which each of the ducks are responsible? I kind of suspect that the actual volume of lymph Between the two sides might be closer to 50-50 since the right lymphatic duct is responsible for most of the drainage from the heart , most of the liver as well as one more lobe of lung. I suspect that the workload from those organ systems may well balance the larger territory, drained by the left..

    • @stopchasingpain
      @stopchasingpain  หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      That is semantics. It really doesn't matter because even if it's 25% and it gets blocked that's not gonna work out well. Who cares what the number is as long as the lymph drains to the left and the right. As I said in the video you always were both sides and no matter what

      @@stopchasingpain I am new to your channel. My question to you was sincere, not an attempt to trip you up. I was sincerely wanting to know if anybody had actually proven that there was a larger burden placed on the left duct. It has been my impression that people assumed since the large region of the body drains into the left, that the left carried a larger burden with regard to drainage. I sincerely wanted to know if you knew if anyone had actually proven that. I agree that blockage on either side is an issue that deserves attention. However, I would like to suggest that understanding the origin of the extracellular fluid congestion plays a central role in how one goes about clearing that congestion. I think that understanding the relative burdens placed on either of these ducts teaches us something about the fluid system that is the human body. Like I said, I am new to your work. So far, we seem to be on the same page. Perhaps someday we shall have conversation… in the meantime, I’ll listen to some more of your videos to see what I can learn from you. Have a great day)

      That's really difficult to say without a clinical history and examination. It is certainly possible. I recommend you see your local chiropractor or physical therapist.

    What if you have vascular TOS? Can this be fixed somehow? Also - have you seen anyone with chronically enlarged tonsils be able to reduce them with lymph massage? I was doing a lot of lymph massage on my 13 yo daughter all of last winter then had the tonsils lasered....they are HUGE right now :( Doctors are saying to remove them but I'm scared. She is sick with POTS, ME, etc.

    • @stopchasingpain
      @stopchasingpain  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Depends on the cause of the vascular TOS. Sometimes tonsils need to be removed. But it also depends on how good your lymphatic massages have been and where are you were releasing lymph. You got a clear the deep lymph in the abdomen and lungs whenever you have tonsil issues

      @@stopchasingpain OK thank you :) I was doing a lot of abdominal massaging on her last winter, and using essential oils while doing that. We also use mHBOT a few times/wk which helps with all lymph from what I understand. I'll get back at the abdo stuff - we also started doing your morning routine....how do we clear lymph in the lungs? Breath work?
