      All the muscles in my eyes hurt with up down left and right.
      Had a head and eye injury at 15 in a car crash. Double vision left and up ever since. 68 now.
      Pain in those muscles is injury atrophy.
      If I look left, have always turned my head to look left
      Same with looking right. Crazy stuff, but have had 53 years of adapted functionality and no glasses. The eye muscles have 'coped' beyond standard. Interesting how the human body adapts to change.
      My inner upper eyelid ache deep now
      Was nice to try and move those tender damaged muscles.
      🙏🏻x

    Dear Mr. Dr. Perry,
    I am an osteopath and a physio from Germany. Your channel is informative and I love to see that you use western and eastern concepts together. Also I really enjoy your explanations and there is no system working alone. I have one question to you: when you treat a patient. How is a session working. Do you work more on a patient with passiv treatment and Hengst all this super exercises as homework. Or are you doing more aktiv treatment? In my head you started as Chiropraktiker and learned and changed more and more of your style of working.
    Sorry for my English, thx for your hard work.

    • @stopchasingpain
      @stopchasingpain  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +24

      Thank you my friend. I love osteopathy. I do more passive treatments and they do the active on their own. Most of my patients have already been doing active therapies and they are still suffering. So my work is more about discovering what the underlying problem really is

      @@stopchasingpain thank you very much for your fast response. That helps me and for my work a lot. In the last years passiv treatments have a bad standing in science and I always reflect my working.
      Thank you for your work, and I really have to say, your content is one of the holistically ones I can enjoy.
      Thank to you mr. Dr. Perry

      @@prof.maxilla boy I would love to talk with you. I do passive vibrational work to open up the system, then give the client tools for continuing the work. I also do bioenergy changing the cells through vibrational work. Nobody understands it so I get desperate cases that have nothing to lose anymore. I've stopped a decade of daily migraines in 2 sessions (then 2 years to truly heal why it happened), shrunk cysts there from birth, found water leaks in acre yards - energy is energy. I wouldn't do it if it didn't get results!!

    Your understanding of all the interconnected parts is fantastic. It is great that you emphasize the breathing since it seems so important. I would also add that for neuroplasticity it is important to feel "safe and calm"... maybe by doing a physiological sigh before the exercises and making sure you are thinking thoughts of gratitude, etc to maximize the plasticity.
    I have added these and the VOR exercises to my routine and I can finally "crack" my neck after three years DIY physical therapy... but I still have some ways to go.

    Afternoon Dr Perry, from 🇬🇧
    I have TED with Double Vision, PPPD, Tinnitus & 1 other issue.
    This vid, especially the diagram info about the brain and the muscles in the back of the head being connected, was an Oprah "Ah ha, light bulb" moment.
    It gave me a more indepth explanation as to why I'm getting SO much pain & tension.
    I don't know how much this may, or may not help, but I did it anyway, and will try to continue doing it every day going forward.
    Along with getting Bowen Therapy, I need all the tools to help releive the built up tension that is causing me HEADACHES etc.
    I know the inflammation from the TED, and automatically tilting my head up (in order to see single vision, which I'm really working on trying to stop this) isnt helping, but this & the Bowen may help.
    Progress is a process, right!

    This is hilarious. I have a lot of back and leg pain and when I walk, I waggle my tongue -- just a coping mechanism that happened. I get some funny looks and do it slightly less completely -- as I already get looks. But, I either do that or bite my upper lip which causes chapped lips -- so do this.

      I cut practically all oxalates out of my diet and had a bunch of gritty things come out of my eyes for about two weeks and then voila….. eyes barely dry after about sixty years of dryness! Eye drops maybe once per day instead of many times….YAY
      I plan to do this as well because I have a lot of chronic pain.

    My tongue has hurt for 22 years since I broke my neck and jaw. There was a tennis ball sized area of scar tissue between my jaws and under my tongue after the accident. It’s been a nightmare beyond all comprehension. The root of my tongue feels like it’s being ripped off the bones. I’ve had to have Botox to stop the visible twitches and grimaces in my face and neck.

    Very interesting. Can you do these exercises if you have a deviated septum and astigmatism? Also, is it Ok to do them in the evening or are they too stimulating?

    • @stopchasingpain
      @stopchasingpain  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      . You can do them any time of day and yes this can absolutely be over stimulating. Watch the video carefully. More isn't better, better is better. Start off very slowly and increase the more your body can tolerate. Only you will know what that number is. You will do great. Trust yourself

    Will this help someone with very low lying cerebral tonsils?
    Mine are just above the point where they would need surgery. A cranial sacral osteopath used to tell me, before I knew about that problem, that my brain stem was jammed. I am 74 years old and found out about it when I was 62 when I was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos syndrome and a tethered spinal cord that was fixed.
    I also have titanium at c4/5 &
    c6/7
    Thank you for this teaching.

      I was told by an infectious disease doctor that they cannot be treated.

    • @stopchasingpain
      @stopchasingpain  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      That 'may' be from the tongue muscles influencing the neck muscles and it's also a reflex point when lymphatics are not flowing well. However, history also matters here. It should ease up in time. If it does not stope these exercises for new and visit our Neck Lymph Assessment video
