  • This dyno day was a good opportunity for some testing as well. Keeping the base map at the ecu we checked how the plenum performs, how filters affect power and also the difference of open to closed hood during the dyno run. Then we started fine tuning the ECU.
    Franky did very well, hitting 200hp and more than 20kgr of torque.! Konstantinos @akina_downhill did an amazing job one more time squeezing every bit of power througt the powerband. The car feels really nice while the sound is glorious!

    Amazing results! Do you mind sharing the cam specs for your cat cams? It's amazing you are able to make 200HP below 8000 rpm. Most 200+ BP engines I've seen have required 8-9000 rpm to do so.

      @@EmptyPocketRacers Thank you! I've been waiting for a breakthrough in BP Naturally aspirated technology. These Cams seem to do what many online say is not possible without bottom end work like a stroker kit or larger pistons.
      Did you have to machine your cylinder head for the cams to fit?

      @@biggboysouth they say it is impossible because it is.....
      allways look at the torque more than 10kg/lt is very very hard
      example
      integra type r 17.8kg of 1.8 lt 9000rpm one of the best engine ever
      s2000 20.8kg with 120hp/lt 9000rpm
      bmw s1000rr 11.5kg and 193hp 14000rpm.......8 itb 8 injectors coated pistons and..................
      conclusion is yours

    Awsome work! I'm planning a similar build. Would you like to share the partnumber of the Volvo valve springs? Is it 418737 for a Volvo B20?

    Hello very nice car and thanks for the side by side testing. Did you use the trumpets inside the plenum?

      Hi thanks. I did not use the plenum, I used the dome filter inside a sealed box with a cold air feed from the front of the car. Cold air and volume is the key for performance.

    Hello man I would like to ask you about torque deep for the 274, did you lose midrange torque or not? Cause I wanted to buy these cams but I am quite afraid of street drivalibity as the Duration is to high and power should be in high rpm?

      Hi. No problem at midrange, the car actually gained power everywhere. I have a dyno video on my channel with the flattop intake so you can check the diagramm. For power though, static compression is very important so make sure you sort this out. For everyday driveability the only issue was the idle were the car sounded like a 3rotor rx7 😆

      I had my engine rebuilt.
      Getting
      wiseco 10.5:1 84mm
      forged conrods
      upgraded springs
      billet pump
      getting there flattop
      And I wanted to go with the camshafts, but I got suggustions from a tuner in us that getting the cams with duration higher than 264 will really harm my mid range and on street it would not be a fun at all cause power would be only on top.

      @@ReikoX7 No it is fine. Regarding compression aim for 11,5-12 with a forged setup. It is the key for n/a power along with cams.

      @@bagelbytes69420 I wanted to keep oem pistons so I saved the head. Hi comp pistons are also available and along with rods can be an even better solution but ofcourse much more costly.

    200 αλογα τροχο;;; δλδ ποσα στροφαλο; συνηθως τετοια ειδικη ισχυς βγαινει με στροφαρισμα 8000σαλ κ ανω

      Τα άλογα αυτά είναι στρόφαλο, με κόφτη στις 7666rpm.
