One of a thousand comments... and it will get lost in the vastness of comment world...but had to say... wow.... this is just beautiful...but also it is a REAL home, curated with lovely things that you love, full of nooks and crannies, reading corners, special decor items, pictures...plants...so welcoming! and not staged like a lot of home videos are...this home really tells your family story...I am sure your whole family will continue to make more lovely memories in this space.

The renovation brought a few misty tears to my eyes. The flow, colors, and furniture were wonderful. The architect's and builder's touches made the whole home sing rather than just adding a "box" to the end of the previous footprint. Enjoy your family here. Thanks for sharing everything with us.

Wow! That's probably the most beautiful renovation I've ever seen! From the stone used in the decking, the beautiful pergola, to the colours of the indoor flooring and walls (both of which "speak" to me), this is a wonderful transformation. The biggest impact is the amount and quality of natural light from the windows and doors. It's like bringing the outside indoors. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate with you!

What seems like "setbacks" during a renovation are usually Blessings 🙌 in disguise. It always turns out so much better when moving at a speed that allows for digestion and processing. Little tweaks can be made to really make everything more customized for the user. So happy for your parents! Their years of personal sacrifice in order to raise & provide for their children, while also growing & enhancing their business has all come full circle. They not only have their dream kitchen, living and outdoor space, but have a dream space for enjoying time and making more memories with their family that has grown. That is a NICE layout! Your mom has such a light about her! Everytime I see her, she makes me smile! You can tell she has such a loving energy. IT's like every time she turns around, she's smiling, even when she's not. Thank you SO much for sharing your space with us. It's really nice. Looks like multiple rooms in one space. The design is so open but seperated at the same time. I get the joy of having nothing in drawers lol My family had junk drawers that drove me up a wall! LOL I love those doors! It looks like a pool house without the pool. (Edit: Just got to the moment talking about the pool). I also love how yall aren't afraid to put art and pictures and thigns in the house and on the wall! No blank white walls! Your parent's garden is also beautiful (I would expect nothing less, of course).
A lower patio would be a great addition to the outdoor space. Love the addition

The comment I have been looking for. Everything was beautiful but the sitting room looked off in that narrow space with all the items. Swapping the dinning room with the TV room would be perfect!
Only one year to transform that space was so worth it to have so many to look forward to enjoy it. Under one year doesn’t seem like very much compared to how much you’re going to enjoy all that sunlight and doors working and especially when you bring all your family over, it’s gonna feel so wonderful.

The renovation is absolutely gorgeous. I would feel like a princess with all the openess and tall doors and windows. I love your kitchen, even though I do not like to cook 😊. My son told me the only reason I have a kitchen is because it came with the house 😂! I'm 66, he just doesn't remember all the cooking I did when they were young and worked outside the home as a nurse. Oh well, life goes on. Now I enjoy being outside and shopping. 😊
Your mom is so gifted in many ways. Her gracious classy not stuffy personality just makes people feel special...never phony pumped up...she has it just woven into her persona. Interior decorating could be a new segment once a month on the show how to pick colors how to blend things how to group things etcetera... I've already gleaned a lot from her 💞 the new addition to the house and outside it's just beautiful they're going to so enjoy it for many years to come. Congratulations!
