The seventh day Sabbath is God's law, not Mosaic law- the 10 commandments that were of stone and are now written in our hearts. The 7th day Sabbath makes the whole Bible cohesive and perfect when I study it. I can't help it, it's an awesome day. I'm a child of God, I'm justified by the blood of Christ, sanctified by the God of the Sabbath. I'm a work in progress. God bless and thanks for your input.

He said if you follow the sabbath you have to keep all the mosaic law. But. I don’t know any Christians that think it’s ok to commit adultery or theft or idol worship. The same principle applies. Also. No doubt 100 percent the “lords day” came from the Catholic Church that is Sunday Bering the sabbath
Also the belief that the commands of God are not valid opens up to teachers to make up thier own rules and regulations which are rampant in christiandom
The argument that because the disciples took a collection on the first day means God changed one of his commands is like saying because I have two pick up trucks I must hate all cars

@pooky1474 FYI law comes in one proposition or none at all meaning you can't cherry pick the Sabbath and ignore the rest 612 laws as the Jews too have to keep the whole law. Read this verse by Apostle Paul; Gal 5:3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

You are Bible illiterate and a biblical fool. Shabbat was a temporary shadow law placed precisely in the center of the Decalogue as a sign of a conditional contract between God and escaped Hebrew slaves. You have been captured, deluded, indoctrinated, and bewildered and bewitched by a wannabe Jew doomsday religious cult. You are not a Christian.

I believe you are misunderstanding Yahs laws which were the 10 Commandments. Everyone is under them, which I includes the Sabbath. The pharasee and sauducee we're adding all this other junk and making it impossible for people to do. Yeshua was accused of not keeping the Sabbath by their talmudic junk such as eating grains as they passed by them or healing a blind man. Go ahead and go to church on the Lord's day but you should keep the Sabbath holy above that.

Christ literally requested his apostles to recognize the Sabbath, after the resurrection.
I'm under the impression that we recognize the 10 commandments, even though they're part of the old covenant, because their importance is recognized in the New Testament. We do not recognize ceremonial law, and choose to opt for the moral law, excluding the Sabbath becuase it is literally the 4th commandment. There's only two verses in all of scripture that potentially downplay the importance of the Sabbath (and you stated both). There's literally two dozens verses in scripture that request we acknowledge the Sabbath, and keep it holy. Its even recognized in Revelation as Gods seal, and commitment to us. I'm not attacking you, I just have a really difficult time understanding your argument.
Why not mention the Papacy changing the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday? This is currently the Churches opinion on the Sabbath: "Deny the authority of the church and you have no adequate or reasonable explanation or justification for the substitution of the Sunday for that Saturday in the third- Protestant fourth- commandment of God. The church is above the bible, and this transference of observation is proof of that fact. If Protestants would follow the Bible, they would worship God in the Sabbath day. In keeping that Sunday they are following the law of the Catholic church."

The Sabbath is one of the COMMANDMENTS write by the FINGER of GOD! As for the “Mosiac Law” this was the LAW that God spoke to Moses to give to the people after they were discovered at the bottom of the mountain where they worshipped the gold calf. The 10 commandments are still stands the spoke law that God have is still holy and Paul even said it is to be established but when you say that if you keep the law you have to keep it all that is not true to a BELIEVER (Saved person) to be a believer you have to trust is Yahshua (Jesus) so then you are justified. If a people wants to keep the law with out Yahshua then yes they have to keep ALL the LAW perfectly. A believer should observe the law and know that God’s law was given to keep people separate, Holy and from being sinful. So to say that if a believer want to keep the law they have to keep it all is wrong. We are not justified by the law we are Justified by Yahshua who fulfilled the law (He did not abolish it) now the write Law by the finger of God is to be kept and majority of BELIEVER keep the 10 commandments except the 4th commandment and that is because of the lies taught.

    • @amyw4125

Paul and Peter both kept the Sabbath and the Gentile converts kept the Sabbath. The Gentile converts begged the to receive the teaching that was given in the synagogues on the Sabbath. NOT one place where Yahshua told them to change the Sabbath to the 1st day of the week. Just because Justin Martyr (a man) documented this in his writings does not mean anything. Peter and Paul both warm of false teachers and people that twisted Paul’s words. Paul kept the Sabbath just because they came together to break bread and collect money that does not mean that they switched the Lord’s day to Sunday. The Lord’s day has always been the 7th day Sabbath and God even said to REMEMBER THE SABBATH AND KEEP IT HOLY” because God knew the wickedness of man and that is why numerous times in the book of judges you see “ they did what was right in their own eyes”. The twisting of the WORD like the serpent did in GENESIS 3 is exactly what happened. When Yahshua was in the wilderness He quoted the WORD to show us that we are to quote the WORD against the enemy. I pray that God really reveals to you the Truth of the Lord’s Day. Resurrection Day is absolutely beautiful and wonderful and it fulfilled the Feast of First Fruits which was prophetic and which is still prophetic when we come into the New Jerusalem on that 8th day for a new beginning with Yahshua.

The 4th commandment is the lords day that the lord requires us to rest and spend a whole day with him as he stopped all work. When he died on the cross he still rested on his day the lords day and resurrected on the Sunday to start his work again. Plenty of scriptures in the new testament requiring us to still keep the lords day sabbath. Luke 23:56, acts 13:14, acts 16:13, acts 17:2, acts 18:4 is a one because you said that Sunday was the new lords day for the gentiles because Greeks are gentiles. Back in those days they collected the offerings on the first day not the sabbath or lords day. Matthew 7:22,23 this is on the last day. For those of use who continue to spread false doctrines and deceive the people, you will be in this group of Christians. Jesus said let no man deceive you.

The 10 Commandments are not finished. They were IN the ark of the covenant that lasts forever. The ordinances and feasts days/yearly Sabbaths are finished. That is what he was saying was a shadow of what's to come. Ie Jesus being the last Passover.
God made sure to write REMEMBER the Sabbath, as it's the only one that starts this way, because He knew they would change His day and we would forget. He wants us to remember His seventh day Sabbath, which was sanctified since creation, and keep it Holy. This is His seal. "The Lord's day" Sunday is the antichrist's day for Satan and even call it their MARK of authority!
They met on Sundays, not to make it a Sabbath but to hide and plan in secret. Yes they worshipped but we should Worship God every day.
    God never changes. Period.
Many of these verses are taken out of context.
Please pray, study, then pray again. Every time you open that Bible. Please open the Bible for yourselves and ask God to show you the truth and it's right there.
Sabbath Blessings, have a blessed one.

The Ten Commandments Are Gods law written by his own finger.
There is a difference between the Mosaic law and Gods law.
    Mosaic law
    Luke 2:22 KJVS
    [22] And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;
    Ephesians 2:15 KJVS
    [15] Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
    2 Chronicles 35:12 KJVS
[12] And they removed the burnt offerings, that they might give according to the divisions of the families of the people, to offer unto the Lord, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the oxen.
    Deuteronomy 31:26 KJVS
[26] Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.
    Galatians 3:19 KJVS
[19] Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
    Colossians 2:14-16 KJVS
[14] Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; [15] And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. [16] Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days :
(Sabbath days being the ceremonial sabbaths not the weekly)
    Hebrews 7:16 KJVS
[16] Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
    Hebrews 7:19 KJVS
[19] For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did ; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
    Gods Law
    Isaiah 5:24 KJVS
[24] Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the Lord of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
    James 2:8 KJVS
[8] If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
    Exodus 31:18 KJVS
[18] And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
    Exodus 32:16 KJVS
[16] And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.
    Exodus 40:20 KJVS
[20] And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:
    Luke 16:17 KJVS
[17] And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
    Romans 3:20 KJVS
[20] Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
    Romans 7:7 KJVS
[7] What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
    1 John 5:3 KJVS
[3] For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
    James 2:10-12 KJVS
[10] For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. [11] For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. [12] So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
    Romans 7:14 KJVS
[14] For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
    Psalm 19:7 KJVS

0 Now there was a man named Joseph, from the Jewish town of Arimathea. He was a member of the council, a good and righteous man, 51 who had not consented to their decision and action; and he was looking for the kingdom of God. 52 This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 53 Then he took it down and wrapped it in a linen shroud and laid him in a tomb cut in stone, where no one had ever yet been laid. 54 It was the day of Preparation, and the Sabbath was beginning.[g] 55 The women who had come with him from Galilee followed and saw the tomb and how his body was laid. 56 Then they returned and prepared spices and ointments.
Jesus died on Friday and even he rested on Sabbath and he rose on Sunday. Sunday is when you would talk about budget for the week and you would put something aside for tieth on Sabbath. Are the ten commandments, including the fourth commandment of keeping the Sabbath of the Lord that God Himself wrote twice with His own finger part of the Mosaic Law? Both laws have Sabbaths. And yet there is a huge difference between the two. The Sabbaths of the Mosaic Law are different from the Weekly Sabbath of the Lord of the 4th Commandment of the Ten commandments. The Weekly Sabbath of the 4th commandment has never been part of the Mosaic Law. In Colossians 2 and Romans 14, when we read the context of those passages, it is ONLY referring to the Sabbaths of the Mosaic Law. You are unfortunately missing this huge distinction. How come?

In Leviticus 23, we can find how God differentiate His weekly Sabbaths and the annual sabbaths:
    Feasts of the Lord
"1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘The feasts of the Lord, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, these are My feasts.
    The Sabbath
3 ‘Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.
Here in verse 3, we see the seventh day of the week, a Sabbath of solemn rest, CALLED the Sabbath of the Lord (The Weekly Sabbath of the Lord of the 4th commandment of the Decalogue)
On each feast of the Sanctuary, it is written the following expressions:
"you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it."
"on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest... 25 You shall do no customary work on it..."
"you shall do no manner of work
"It shall be to you a sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict your souls; on the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall celebrate your sabbath.”
Those Mosaic sabbaths were called "your sabbath", "it shall be to you a sabbath of solem rest" in contrast with the Weekly Sabbath of the Lord.
And almost at the end of the chapter, to make sure that nobody gets confused about the two sets of sabbaths, in verses 37 and 38, God Himself makes the distinction between the two:
"37 ‘These are the feasts of the Lord which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering and a grain offering, a sacrifice and drink offerings, everything on its day - 38 besides the Sabbaths of the Lord, besides your gifts, besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings which you give to the Lord."

WHERE in the Bible does it use the term "Christian Sabbath"? That is ADDING to Scripture.
There is only ONE DAY in the whole of the Bible, including the New Testament, that God and Yeshua call the "Sabbath," and that is the 7th day at the end of the week AFTER six days' labour, not the first day of the (working) week or "Sun"-day, named after the "sun," but not the "Son."

  • @KarlLlewellyn-yb3ys

Why is the Sabbath Commandment Not Repeated in the New Testament?
Some people believe that, since the Sabbath commandment isn't explicitly repeated in the New Testament, it is no longer binding. But is this true?
The Sabbath commandment did not have to be repeated in the New Testament, simply because the people to whom Jesus Christ and the apostles preached would never have imagined that it needed to be repeated!
The Scriptures that would later be called the Old Testament were their Bible, their guide for living (Romans 15:4).
Paul described them as being "given by inspiration of God, and . . . profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
    The Holy
Scriptures clearly commanded them to keep the Sabbath, and the common people accepted that as God's inspired instruction.
Jesus Christ and the apostles lived and taught in a Sabbath-keeping society. Jesus' confrontations with the Pharisees were over how to observe the Sabbath, never over whether to observe it.
When the apostles took their message beyond the confines of Judea, Sabbath observance was well known in other parts of the Roman Empire. Notice, for example, what the Jewish historian Flavius Josephus, writing during the New Testament period, said: "The multitude of mankind itself have had a great inclination for a long time to follow our religious observances; for there is not any city of the Grecians, nor any of the barbarians, nor any nation whatsoever, whither our custom of resting on the seventh day hath not come . . . As God himself pervades all the world, so hath our law passed through all the world also" (Against Apion, Book 2, chap. 40).
The examples of Jesus and the apostles confirm that they believed in and obeyed all of the Ten Commandments.
Throughout the book of Acts-written by Luke, a gentile -the Sabbath and the annual Sabbaths described in Leviticus 23 are mentioned quite routinely (Acts 13:14, 42, 44; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4, 21; 20:6, 16; 27:9). Whether to observe them simply wasn't a question.

Day of atonement feast on 10 day of seventh month was celebrations from evening to another evening and also called it Sabbath day.-Leviticus 23:26-32 . It is a feast part of ceremonial law written in mosaic law by Moses himself and gave it to levi priest then command to keep it besides the ark before his dead- Deuteronomy 31:9,24-26. Also these celebrations were called Sabbaths - Exodus 31:12
Seventh day Sabbath was known before sin God Rested on Sabbath , blessed it and hollowed it- Genesis 2:1-3.
Seventh day Sabbath was a part of among ten commandments- Exodus 20:8.
It was inscribed by finger of God on two tablets of stone at Mount Sinai and gave it to Moses.-Exodus 31:14-18.
The ten commandments or testimony or two tablets of stone put in the ark.- Exodus 25:16. There was the ark in the Temple of heaven saw by john.- Revelation 11:19.
Saints will keep God's commandment and remain faithful to Jesus- Revelation 14:12.

Was represent heavenly God's temple and sacrifice of lamb represent Jesus's crucifixion also earthly high priest was represent Jesus's working in as high priest after His crucified (read all book of Hebrews ) and Ceremonial law was called Law of Moses in Hebrew 10:28 and also mentioned as written of ordinance and but these law like circumcised, religious festival,a New moon celebration or Sabbath day were nailed on cross .It was a shadow of Christ's and therefore that earthly Tabernacle then celebrations was fulfilled when Jesus die 1 Colossians chapter 2 but Now Jesus himself started to serve
as high priest and enter in sanctuary temple of heaven. Now we need to faith in Jesus's crucifixion instead of keeping law of Moses and baptism instead of circumcised also lord supper.
Therefore ten commandments is still in heaven in the ark(Revelation 11:19) and Heaven and earth will disappear but His law never - Mathew 5:17-20.

4:04 I would like to correct this. You don’t actually see in the New Testament a repeated view being “The Lord’s Day”. There is no place where the first day of the week is referred to as “The Lord’s Day”. To see this view in Revelation 1:10 is to read into the text a tradition that is more recently established than when the book of revelation was written.
John is a Jew. He is speaking in Jewish terms. John saying, “The Lord’s Day” is the same as if he were saying “in the Day of the Lord.”
"the Day of the Lord," the time of the coming destruction that climaxes in the return of Christ.
    Consider Isaiah 13:6, 9; Joel 1:15; 2:1, 11, 31; Amos 5:18; etc as examples of this.
The Lord’s Day in revelation is John referring to what Revelation is about… the Day of the Lord. See how that works out? John never refers to it as the first day of the week and the Bible never refers to the first day of the week as the Lords Day.

Dear all Sabbath is a perpetual covenant which is to be kept by the israelites the new covenant was made not with the gentiles but with the house of judah and the house of israel. We gentiles are grafted into the house of israel and became parttakers citizens of israel.
    Colossians 2:16-17
16 So let no one (U)judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a [j]festival or a new moon or sabbaths, 17 (V)which are a shadow of things to come, but the [k]substance is of Christ
👆 this is the epistle to the colosses who were pagans who had their own customs traditions holy days according to doctrines of men. But now through one of paul's disciple (see colossians 1) they have come to christ and have become believers of christ.
Therefore he is saying to the believers that do not let anyone judge you because you have stopped eating unclean foods (swine, dog, cat, vultures, crows, snake meat etc as I did before I became a believer as it was my tradition) or stopped drinking alcohol or the likes, started observing the feast of the Lord (passover, unleavened bread, feast of first fruits, pentecost, feast of trumpets, day of atonement, feast of tabernacles or booths) or the moon cycles to know the seasons (today we follow solar cycles gregorian calendar)or the sabbaths which lord our God made it Holy.
Remember what Jesus said, in mathews 5-
17 (X)“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, (Y)till heaven and earth pass away, one [b]jot or one [c]tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 (Z)Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven

Everyone is just following the Roman misleading template I see😅 its a shame!!!

Jesus says keep the commandments , keeping of the sabbath is a commandment . We are not bound by the law anymore but we can use the commandments as jesus taught as they teach us how to treat others how we'd like to be treated essentially serving them which is loving them

Christ said if you love me you will keep my Commandments. Because the followers of Christ met on Sunday was because they couldn't work on Saturday. And as a matter of fact they worship through the whole week. The evil Roman Church change this an 1894 I do believe to worship on Sunday, day the Sun. In most other language besides English the 7th day translates to Sabbath day not Saturn day. We might as well break that commandment because it doesn't mean anything right?

  • @judgmentishere
    @judgmentishere 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

The 7th day Sabbath is the Lord's day. There's only one true faith, Eph. 4;4-6. Which would be those who keep the 10 commandments including the Sabbath just like the early church. Fulfilling the law does not mean it's done away with as it clearly says he did not come to destroy it. Romans 3:31 The law is not void. All through the book of Acts you'll see they kept the 7th day. Noone ever kept Sunday. We should never teach others to break any of the commandments. Matthew 5:19-20.

WRONG write out of the box. The Sabbath is NOT a Mosaic law. It's part of the moral law mentioned by God even before the other 9 were given to Mosses. Come on guy, this ain't rocket science. Cclear up to the new testiment THE Sabbath (not the ceremonial sabbath mentioned) was kept by ALL Jews AND gentiles who converted to Christianity. And because you don't know your history I'll tell you that sunday worship is the sole creation of the catholic church. And because you are the subject of who's laws you keep that makes most of the world catholic. Before I knew SDA's existed I read my first Bible cover to cover and kept the Sabbath on my own BECAUSE IT WAS BIBLICAL.

Collosians 2-16 says sabbathS - plural: not THE sabbath. It says blotting out of handwriting of ordinances- the 10 commandments arent ordinances but Law and they arent hand writing on paper but Gods finger writing on stone.

There are three sections to the Mosaic Covanent.. Shabbat is one of the 10 which Ecclesiastes or Kohelete says is for Cal Hadam which means all mankind. It is actually impossible for a man to do all the commandments for a few reasons. Some are only for woman to keep, others for priesrs, others for men, others for only when the temple is standing, others for only in the land of Israel. Yeshua didnt do all 613 whoch are commands, mishpatim/ Rulings, judgments. The sabbath was given way before the Mosaic Law.. The sad thing is that the misinterpertation of Pauls writings Contridict themselves under Greek Ideology because the language doesnt distinguish. Example (Elohim, YHVH, and adonai. Hebrew. Greek just says G-D or Lord. The Exodus 20 Mitvot law is different then the Mishpatim in the next couple chapters.... But the new testament doesnt destinguish these things. This is a big error on christian part from Roman thinking. Becoming like Yeshua is literally reflecting the commandments perfectly

    Read Matt 5:17 carefully,
Jesus say: “..Think Not..” meaning don’t even think about it!!, again He say: “.. I did not come to Destroy..”
Right the OT was written in Greek & the meaning of Fulfil: play-ro'-o
make full, level up, fully preach, perfect, supply.
•It does not mean to remove!!.
    Now Rev 1:10 “..Lords Day..”
Nowhere in this chapter where it says Sunday or Seventh day Sabbath..
This is y we have to use the principle of Bible reading in:
Isa 28:10 ”For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:”
& it has to go according to the “..Law & the Testimony..” Isa 8:20!!
“Seventh Day Sabbath” have been Blessed & sanctified(make it Holy for Religious use) by God and not man at creation and it will be in the New earth:
    Isa 66:22!!

Jesus was accused of breaking the Sabbath it was questionable what he was doing by different interpretation also he overturned the money tables which got him crucified whether he did that on purpose or not I don't know because he also got mad at the fig tree for no good reason but then tried to say it was a teaching moment in addition he turned water into wine unnecessarily just to please his mother against his better judgment
