"If you love me, keep my commandments." For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. {1 John 5:3}
Yo i believe this message saved my life. I was self-righteous and i knew i wasnt supposed to be. I was just like the Jews in the book of Galatians; faith in Jesus + works. In fact thats part of the reason why I wanted to listen to this sermon, to help confirm that i have been keeping the Sabbath Day. Now i know 100% that Jesus came into this world to save sinners. I'm like very happy right now because Jesus has saved me from my sins. I still have that little voice in my head condenming me saying i was already saved. But i dont believe i was. Regardless now i know that today, July 8th 2023, 10:00pm Saturday, I've been saved completely by the grace of God. Lets go!
Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth ONE DAY above another: another esteemeth EVERY DAY alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth THE DAY, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not THE DAY, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. Now expound under the Light of all scripture! Firstly it was a letter to the church in ROME, where it was LAW to follow the Roman Julian Calendar. So a Roman man might esteem ONE DAY, another man might esteem EVERY DAY. But Paul wants the church in Rome to know that those who regard THE DAY that God has appointed, is regarding God, but those who do not regard THE DAY are not regarding God. Those who eat certain food and drinks for the Lord (like on on Passover) are also regarding the Lord, and those who don't eat anything (like on Day of Atonement), are FASTING exactly as the Lord has instructed in Lev 23. The same author also wrote this... Colossians 2:16 Therefore let no one judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a Feast, a New Moon, or a Sabbath. 17 These are a shadow of the things to come, BUT THE BODY THAT CASTS IT belongs to Christ. The same author also wrote this.... Ephesians 5:30 For WE ARE MEMBERS OF HIS BODY Now expound under the Light of all scripture! Knowing that the Roman authority and enemies of God will actively hunt you down (judge you) for eating certain foods and drinks on certain days - don't let any man judge you for obeying Gods instruction regarding eating certain food & drinks on Feast Days, for observing New Moon Days and Sabbath Days, because as MEMBERS OF HIS BODY, it is our duty to continue to cast these shadows as beacons of light to the world. The same author also wrote this... Acts 18:21 But bade them farewell, saying, I MUST BY ALL MEANS KEEP THIS FEAST that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus. Now expound under the Light of all scripture! Paul was no hypocrite like Peter at antioch. Paul was given THE GOSPEL by direct revelation from Jesus Christ Himself. Paul knew that it was his duty to observe Gods FEAST days according to THE GOSPEL. Paul was not taught this gospel by any man, except Jesus Himself. The same author also wrote this.... Galatians 4:8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods. 9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? 10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. 11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain. Now expound in the Light of scripture! Paul reminds the members of the church in Galatia that they once were unwitting slaves to demons, by observing days and months to those beings who were not really gods. But now that they had learned the TRUTH about the one true living God and the things that He requires of them, why would they go back to slavery to demons by observing those days again? In fact Paul was so distressed by this activity, because he was afraid of what might happen to them - so it is VERY VERY IMPORTANT TO BELIEVERS! Today modern christians have also fallen away under the same great apostasy, by observing days that have not been appointed by God. People worship demons when they observe Saint Valentines Day, Saint Patricks Day, October Fest, Christmas Day, Easter, Halloween Day, etc.... Worship demons you say? Yes, when we observe any day to anyone except God then that entity is the one whom we worship, and this is specifically warned against in scripture. What christian would knowingly worship a demon? Perhaps none, but virtually everyone if it is a DECEPTION. Remember how Eve was deceived? In fact here again is the warning by John in Revelation 9:20 And the rest of the men who were not killed by these plagues did not even repent of the works of their hands SO THAT THEY WILL NOT WORSHIP THE DEMONS, and the golden and silver and bronze and stone and wooden idols, which are able neither to see, nor to hear, nor to walk. And so now to Hebrews 4 1 Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be deemed to have fallen short of it. 2 For we also received the good news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it. 3 Now we who have believed enter that rest. As for the others, it is just as God has said:“So I swore on oath in My anger, ‘They shall never enter My rest.’ ” Now expound in the Light of all scripture! When we receive the GOOD NEWS that God will forgive us our sins, if we repent of them, and BELIEVE by showing that BELIEF by obeying His Commandments, then we enter that rest as described in the 4th Commandment. Those who hear and don't truly believe, well they don't bother to enter Gods Sabbath Day of rest. In fact the very first sentence warns that we should not fall short of entering His appointed rest days (Holy Convocations). 6 Since, then, it remains for some to enter His rest, and since those who formerly heard the good news did not enter because of their disobedience, 7 God again designated a certain day as “Today,” when a long time later He spoke through David as was just stated: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.” 8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. 9 There remains, then, a Sabbath rest for the people of God. 10 For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His. 11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same pattern of disobedience. Now expound in the Light of all scripture! The same day of REST remains until this very day, and some who are still unbelievers fail to enter that rest through disobedience. In Joshua Chapter 24, Joshua reminded the Hebrews who had escaped Egypt of the history of DISOBEDIENCE to Gods Laws, and asked then to renew their vows to OBEY GODS LAWS, and so it was written in the book of Law and placed under the Oak tree on a large stone as a witness against the Hebrews should they turn away from Gods Law and worship other gods on other days, as they had done so in the past back in Egypt. So then we are reminded that it is still Gods Law that we enter into His appointed Sabbath days of rest, so that we imitate God in all things that we do. We are further encouraged to continue to enter into Gods Sabbath Day of rest, so that we do not set an example of DISOBEDIENCE. The days that God has appointed should be very very important to every single person who is a TRUE BELIEVER! In fact it was Jesus who reminded the Disciples at the last supper on Passover, that they should continue to do these things in remembrance of Him. And again it was Jesus who before His ascension into heaven, reminded all of the Disciples the importance of keeping the Day of Pentecost, because that was the day that the Father had PROMISED to send the Holy Spirit. In fact Acts 2 stands as a testimony against anyone who dares to say that the 4th Commandment is no longer valid, or that the Feast Days are no longer important. Now to continue to observe Pentecost, we must first know how to count Sabbaths - 7 of them, according to Lev 23. Before that, we need to know when Firstfruits occurs, and prior to that we need to know when Feast of Unleavened Bread begins, and before that when Passover falls, and before that when the New Moon Day occurs that announces the beginning of a New Year once sufficient Barley would be at a stage of ripeness to call a New Year without having to add another month of Adar 2. What beggars belief, is that supposed christians think that it's ok to completely ignore Gods Calendar of Gen 1:14, and think it's ok to substitute man made calendar from ancient pagan Rome who served demons, even naming some days and months after demons. To even mention those names or have them heard from our lips is an offense to God according to Josh 23:7 & Exodus 23:13. Yet yt preacher after yt christian apologist, is willingly blind to the truth that Gods Calendar is Luni-Solar, and has New Moon Days, Sabbath Days, working Days and Feast Days. It beggars belief that supposed christians cannot see Eze 46:1-3, then Isaiah 66:22-23, and think that somehow it's ok to forget all about this for the in-between time??? But there is a simply reason why Jesus said that the way to Eternal Life is narrow and the gate small, and few that walk that way. And it's because most false teachers, preachers, and yt apologists are willingly ignorant of the truth concerning Created time, and how the Creator instructed us to look up and observe the TIME according to His calendar that He placed into the heaven above. As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord - not your privately interpreted false gospel , nor SDA, nor JW's, nor Baptists, nor AOG, nor Pentecostals, nor Calvinists, nor Dispensationalists, nor anyone except Gods Word!
Yes we are saved by the blood of Christ if we repent of our sins, which means turn away from them. Jesus said that He did not come to change God's word, rather to do to obey the laws. He also said that heaven and earth may pass away, but not one jot or title of the word shall pass away. He also said, if you LOVE me, keep my commandments. God created everything in 6 days and rested on the 7 th called it the day of rest, the Sabbath and he hallowed and sanctified it. The fourth commandment is honor the Sabbath and keep it holy. Do you think that people who go to church on Saturday are going to hell, for keeping the 7 th day Sabbath. If following the 10 commandments will send us to hell? So you say thou shall not lie or steal, or kill, but it's okay to leave out other commandments? Remember God said that Heaven and earth may pass away, but my words will never change...
mr.clutch, Nice to hear you understand Justification better now. Then, if you love Jesus, you will keep his commandments, including the 7th day Sabbath commandment.

Biblical Perspective on Sunday Worship 1. No Direct Command: - The New Testament does not explicitly command or even provide a slight indication for the replacement of the Sabbath with Sunday worship. The focus of the New Testament is on the resurrection of Jesus, rather than instituting Sunday as a new day of rest or worship. 2. Continuity with Sabbath Observance: - Jesus observed the Sabbath regularly, as seen in Luke 4:16 and Matthew 5:17-19. The apostles’ observance of the Sabbath is also documented in Acts 13:14, 15:21, 16:13, 17:2, and 18:4. These references underline the Sabbath's importance in their practice. 3. Gentile Converts and the Sabbath: -Gentile converts to Christianity continued to observe the Sabbath, indicating its ongoing importance in early Apostolic Christian practice and highlighting its continued significance. In Acts 13:42 and 44, we see that these converts were present in the synagogue keeping the Sabbath, showing their continued observance and respect for this day. 4. Unscriptural Theological Development: - The practice of Sunday worship developed gradually over time during the post-apostolic era, influenced by theological reflections and traditions prevalent in the Roman Empire at that time. These aimed to honor Sunday observance, using Jesus' resurrection on that day as an unwarranted justification. This development was not based on an explicit New Testament command or practice but diverged from the original Sabbath observance, which is one of the commandments in the Decalogue. 5. Deviation from Apostolic Practice: - The early Church Fathers deviated from the original teaching and practice of Jesus and the apostles regarding the Sabbath commandment. As prophesied by Paul in Acts 20:29 (KJV), "For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock", there was a significant departure from the original apostolic teaching and practice. 6. Pagan Origins of Sunday Worship: -Sunday worship has pagan origins steming from historical and cultural practices that predate Christianity. Here's a summary of this perspective: 1. Roman Sun Worship: - In ancient Rome, Sunday was dedicated to the sun god, Sol Invictus. This day was considered auspicious for sun worship, and various sun deities were honored on this day, including the later imperial cults. 2. Heliocentric Influence: - The influence of heliocentric (sun-centered) religion was widespread in the Roman Empire. Sunday was already a day of rest and celebration in honor of the sun, a practice that was integrated into Christian worship practices as Christianity became more entrenched in Roman culture. 3. Early Christian Adaptation: - As Christianity spread through the Roman Empire, church leaders adapted certain cultural and religious practices to facilitate conversion and integration. The observance of Sunday as a day of worship was influenced by the existing Roman tradition of sun worship, helping to bridge the gap between pagan practices and Christian worship. 4. Constantine’s Edict: - In 321 AD, Emperor Constantine issued an edict making Sunday a day of rest from labor, aligning with the established Roman practice and facilitating the transition to Christian observance. This move was part of a broader effort to merge Christian practices with prevailing cultural norms, which is basically paganism. Conclusion The New Testament does not provide a direct command or indication to replace the Sabbath with Sunday. Gentile converts to Christianity maintained Sabbath observance (Acts 13:42 and 44), reflecting its ongoing significance. The emphasis on Sunday as a day of worship developed through tradition and theological reflection, diverging from the original Sabbath observance as established by Jesus and the apostles. The association of Sunday worship with pagan sun worship reflects historical developments where post-apostolic Christians adapted cultural practices to their new religious context with in the Roman Empire. While the Christian observance of Sunday ultimately became centered on the resurrection of Jesus, its timing and some associated practices were influenced by pre-existing Roman traditions dedicated to the sun as a god.
Hi Asher, I was about to write when I read your comment. I believe it is difficult to explain it better than you did-very well argued with biblical and historical basis. From my side, I would only add this to your great explanation: Gen 26:5 because Abraham obeyed me and did everything I required of him, keeping my commands, my decrees and my instructions.(So, Abraham knows about the Sabbath before israel) Mark 7:6-9 These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.7 They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’8 You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.”9 And he continued, “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions! Mr. Alistair Begg , you are right the Jews had no right to make a burden of the Sabbath, and you have no right from the Lord to preach abandoning the keeping of the 7th day, Sabbath. You will have to answer to the Lord for this sermon. Sunday is human institution, the Sabbath is by God established .
With all due respect, where do you find in the Bible that God start the church on Sunday. I cannot find it. On the other hand the Promise and the Sabbath go together until Jesus second coming. What’s going on church? How have we gotten so twisted in today’s church? First we need to realize the difference between the 600 Laws and the Ten Commandments. The 600 Laws were written on paper by man via God. The Ten Commandments are written on Beautiful Sapphire Stone by the Finger of God Himself. The Sabbath Commandment is within the Ten Commandments. I don’t think we quite understand Salvation. Jesus Christ conquered sin and death and then He sent us the Holy Spirit. What happens when we have the Holy Spirit living in us? We should walk by His Spirit. How do we walk by His Spirit? By loving God and loving our neighbor. How do we love God and love our neighbor? God Himself, in Stone, gave us a beautiful Love outline. Don’t have other gods before Him. No idols. Don’t use the Lord’s Name in vain, which simply means don’t be a hypocrite. Your outer show should match your inner flow. Now then here we have the Sabbath Commandment. We know Jesus Christ is Lord of the Sabbath. We know because of His earthly Work that we have now and Eternal Sabbath Rest. Rest in Him. Here’s the kicker, today’s church changed the Sabbath based on the false teaching of a Sunday morning Resurrection, this is a massive lie. Jesus Christ Rose on the “first day of the week” of Week 1 of the 7 Weeks of 7, known as the 49 Days of Weeks. Jesus Christ Rose on Day 1 of the 49. This Day is called First Fruits, on a Hebrew Lunar Calendar it was always on a Tuesday, the “third day” of the week. Remember Jesus spent 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the earth. Dying on Friday at 3pm, in the Tomb before the start of the 6pm Sabbath, in the Tomb for Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Rising on First Fruits Tuesday, the “third day” of the week, on the “first day of the week” of Week 1 of the 7 Weeks of 7. The very next Day, after the 49 Days of Weeks was Day 50, Pentecost, the Day that the Holy Spirit was given, Hallelujah!!! Jesus Christ is the Bridegroom, we are the bride. Resting in Him on the Sabbath, setting time aside for our relationship is vital, just like a human marriage, we need to set aside special time for the Bridegroom. Then we have the 5th Commandment, honoring our parents, don’t murder, no adultery, don’t steal or lie, or covet. The Ten Commandments are based on Love. All Ten Commandments are still extremely relevant. The Torah crowd confuses the 600 Laws with the Ten Commandments. Rob’s crowd is ignorant in believing Christ rose on pagan Easter Sunday, they are also ignorant on throwing out the 4th Commandment. So we don’t need to keep the Torah, but the Ten Commandments are still very important.
A little hard to follow but agree. Allow me to add to your comments. "Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome." 1 John 5:3 NLT Jesus said, “If you love me, obey my commandments. Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.” John 14:15, 21 NLT Wake up folks. Obediance has nothing to do with justification but everything to do with being Holy as God is Holy. Obediance is the proof of your justification. "Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith. Examine yourselves. Or do you yourselves not recognize that Jesus Christ is in you? - unless you fail the test." 2 Corinthians 13:5 HCSB " I don’t speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it. And I know his commands lead to eternal life; so I say whatever the Father tells me to say.” John 12:49-50 NLT
Jesus is the Sabbath rest, this is in Hebrews, a book written to Jews. All the commandments were given byGod for the benefit of His creation, expecting obedience to them so they would be blessed for their keeping. The problem is that men want to play God and changed proudly the Sabbath Day to a Sunday Sabbath. The Jews made the commandments very burdensome deciding what was good to do or not to do on the Sabbath, and If they did not obey what they had added to the words of God , they call them sinners and would be condemned, they would not be saved , they made it a works salvation and not by faith in the gospel. Today, the same things happen in churches that teach salvation by Jesus plus law works , they they teach salvation with sanctification together for been accepted in heaven. This is not a true statement. And the _*_evening and the morning were the first day."_* (Gen 1:5, KJV) It pays to read what the Bible actually says on a subject. Additionally, the Bible teaches that the Sabbath is for all of Mankind, not just for the Jews: _Then He told them, _*_“The Sabbath was made for man_*_ and not man for the Sabbath."_ (Mark 2:27, HCSB) And again: _"And _*_the foreigners_*_ who join themselves to the LORD minister to Him, love the name of Yahweh and become His servants, _*_all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it_*_ and who hold firmly to My covenant - I will bring them to My holy mountain and let them rejoice in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar, for _*_My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”_* (Isa 56:6-7, HCSB)

@silentday4503 actually, 'grace' isn't license to live in sin - it's forgiveness of past sin and 'repentance' is turning from that sin. now read 1 John 3:4 to understand what sin is, friend.
You , dear pastor, did not specify if the Sabbath is the day that we should keep in obedience to God’s commandment, not for salvation but for showing that we love Him and His Son as it says in John 14: 21-25. And also in John 15: 10, 12. I believe that Sunday is the wrong day to call ‘the Sabbath’ and to go to church on Sunday thinking that they are keeping the Sabbath day, Saturday, is the Sabbath day and the fourth commandment says to remember to keep it holy! Of course, we all sinners don’t keep any commandment perfectly, and that is why Jesus came and died because of that, keeping them for us and paying our sentence of death, giving us His forgiveness , righteousness , the resurrection and eternal life promises…precious gifts of His redeeming grace.
I never knew you, ye workers of Torahlessness.--Sin is transgression of the Torah.--We must establish Torah. You can choose to follow a lawless jesus or learn the truth and come to a Lawfull/Torah obedient Yeshua. How can you imitate Him, if you do not do what He did? Why does Shaul follow and defend the Torah some 25 years after the cross (Acts 21-28)? The only Sabbath controversy is with those who are disobedient to THE Word of Elohim. Cause Yeshua came to do the Fathers will, not His own.
Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
Exactly. The “old testament” the scriptures are so important. Every evangalical protestant church takes on sunday 1st day of sabbath which is opposite of what the Father Yah said.
No he doesn't. I am in a sabbath day of rest all the days of my life. Trusting only in what Christ did for my salvation. Everyday is the sabbath, saying one day is holy and the rest of them are not holy is for people of weak faith and weak understanding. Saying that a person is holier because they dont do certain things on a particular day of the week is weak minded and foolish. I worship the Lord everyday the same way as any other day. If anyone does sabbath day correctly as the Torah would command it would be Orthodox Jews living in Israel today, following all the mosaic laws except for animal sacrafices, so what, that doesnt make them holy at all, infact they are sinners and there rightous acts are filthy rags sending them to hell. There is no name under heaven given unto man by which they must be saved except the name of JESUS. Jesus didnt die and rise again to make you better law keepers , but to free you from the curse of the law. That is the good news. Bad news would be saying Jesus died to i could be under the law. Its not law plus Jesus or Jesus plus law. Its Jesus only and no condemnation for those in Christ period. If you dont believe this your condemed already, just as the law keeping jews in Israel are today

@@mitchellosmer1293 We (Christians)believe the Old Testament regulations governing Sabbath observances are ceremonial, not moral, aspects of the law. As such, they are no longer in force, but have passed away along with the sacrificial system, the Levitical priesthood, and all other aspects of Moses' law that prefigured Christ. Here are the reasons we hold this view. In Colossians 2:16-17, Paul explicitly refers to the Sabbath as a shadow of Christ, which is no longer binding since the substance (Christ) has come. It is quite clear in those verses that the weekly Sabbath is in view. The phrase "a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day" refers to the annual, monthly, and weekly holy days of the Jewish calendar (cf. 1 Chronicles 23:31; 2 Chronicles 2:4; 31:3; Ezekiel 45:17; Hosea 2:11). If Paul were referring to special ceremonial dates of rest in that passage, why would he have used the word "Sabbath?" He had already mentioned the ceremonial dates when he spoke of festivals and new moons. The Sabbath was the sign to Israel of the Mosaic Covenant (Exodus 31:16-17; Ezekiel 20:12; Nehemiah 9:14). Since we are now under the New Covenant (Hebrews 8), we are no longer required to observe the sign of the Mosaic Covenant. The New Testament never commands Christians to observe the Sabbath. In our only glimpse of an early church worship service in the New Testament, the church met on the first day of the week (Acts 20:7). Nowhere in the Old Testament are the Gentile nations commanded to observe the Sabbath or condemned for failing to do so. That is certainly strange if Sabbath observance were meant to be an eternal moral principle. There is no evidence in the Bible of anyone keeping the Sabbath before the time of Moses, nor are there any commands in the Bible to keep the Sabbath before the giving of the law at Mt. Sinai. When the Apostles met at the Jerusalem council (Acts 15), they did not impose Sabbath keeping on the Gentile believers. The apostle Paul warned the Gentiles about many different sins in his epistles, but breaking the Sabbath was never one of them. In Galatians 4:10-11, Paul rebukes the Galatians for thinking God expected them to observe special days (including the Sabbath). In Romans 14:5, Paul forbids those who observe the Sabbath (these were no doubt Jewish believers) to condemn those who do not (Gentile believers). The early church fathers, from Ignatius to Augustine, taught that the Old Testament Sabbath had been abolished and that the first day of the week (Sunday) was the day when Christians should meet for worship (contrary to the claim of many seventh-day sabbatarians who claim that Sunday worship was not instituted until the fourth century). Sunday has not replaced Saturday as the Sabbath. Rather the Lord's Day is a time when believers gather to commemorate His resurrection, which occurred on the first day of the week. Every day to the believer is one of Sabbath rest, since we have ceased from our spiritual labor and are resting in the salvation of the Lord (Hebrews 4:9-11)
Wonderful theology . However Jesus did not abolish the law or NONE of the commandments. The theology of the non saved Jews ( Pharisees ) , their theology believing that the law would save them totally proved erroneous. . However , Jesus neither did the Jewish Apostles abolish gods law … Bible proof ; I will write my law into their hearts ❤and minds , in so that they can Obey Me ( the lords law / commandments ) New Covenant Law and Grace , Obedience in and to the FAITH that was once delivered in that era ,,, until Semitic doctrine and changing the Sabbath commandment was Abolished…Jesus being of Jewish identity and the Jewish Apostles all upheld the sabbath . Proof ? Restudy Acts . Paul was accused of not upholding the law , he proves that HE does still uphold the law by shaving his head ( nazarite vow ) and he took two other brothers with him into the Temple . . The saved Jews like Paul , and disciples including all Jewish women , and then in that ERA the First Gentiles were all upholding to The New Covenant Law of God in ( IN Christ Jesus / or Jeshua ) . In that ERA the Holy Spirit Fell ( the law of the spirit ) he fell Afresh on Both Jews and Greeks . . in that ERA , Jesus said and today still ask ? If u love me keep ( some ? ) of the commandments or all ? … A Jewish disciple will Uphold gods New Covenant Law in and through Faith in Christ ,,,, But a non learned Gentile not fully converted will not . Because the gentiles clearly have not known Gods Ways . Nor do they comprehend the simplicity of Gods New Covenant Law . They assumed Gods Law was Abolished on the Cross . That’s not true , Gods Law is still being written in our hearts and minds by the help of the Holy Spirit , as we give ourselves to love the lord ,,, We become Obedient to The Law of God in Christ Jesus . We now have Gods New Covenant Law ( In our being ) by the helping hand of god …. The more we shut our selves in with god , the more he helps us to be Disciplined. . We are to Walk as Jesus Walked . He upheld all of gods law , the Law now is in us by faith in Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit . . I am not a pastor of any denomination. Simply a follower of Jeshua . I don’t believe being lorded over ( Christ is my head to the best of my ability, giving myself over to the Lord of the Sabbath more and more and more ) Daily we take up our cross to become more like Jesus and walk as the early converts Walked . They were taught correctly The law does not save , but I can point you to the one that created the LAW , his name is Jesus ,, and he still says ! If u love me ( KEEP My Commandments) , I say that he gave to Moses from the beginning. I don’t believe in A Sunday Commandment is in the whole Bible … Theology can be dangerous

THE BIBLE SAYS THE LAW WAS CHANGED? OR WAS IT REMOVED? Heb 7:12 “For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a CHANGE (3331) also of the law. ” But what was the Law changed to? That capitalized “change” is a different Greek word from the first one in this verse. Different word, different meaning. Right? So what is our meaning here? Here are two more examples of how this Greek word is used. I have capitalized the words for clarity. Heb 11:5 “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his TRANSLATION (3331) he had this testimony, that he pleased God.” Now, was Enoch “changed,” or was he moved to somewhere else? He was moved or transferred somewhere else. This is one meaning of this word. This next verse will show that even more conclusively. Heb 12:27 “And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the REMOVING (3331) of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.” Removal! That nails it. The Mosaic Law was removed out of the way. “Change” just doesn't quiet get it. “But, but, but; how can we be sure?” This verse will add clarity to it. Heb 7:18 “For there is verily a DISANNULLING (115) of the commandment (the Law) going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.” Here Paul is writing in the same context as the original verse 12 at the top of this post. So what is he saying here? One more verse to clinch this thing. Heb 9:26 “For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared TO PUT AWAY (115) sin by the sacrifice of himself.” Same Greek word in this previous verse translated “disannulling.” The Mosaic Law was PUT AWAY! As in a trunk in heaven! Heb 8:13 “In that he saith a new Testament, he hath abrogated (3822) the old: now that which is disannulled (3822) and waxed old, is ready to vanish away.” (854) (3822) means “obsolete” and (854) means to “disappear.” And that was 2000 years ago when Hebrews was originally written! And there it is confirmed! The Greek language is beautifully clear! Of course, many simply refuse to believe the biblical texts. The “disannulling” of the commandment is “to put away” the commandment! The Law was indeed put away, nullified, nailed to the cross, removed, and taken out of the picture for all believers. Unless you have gone to many various churches, you would not believe how many Christians are still struggling daily under these old covenant laws and burdens, thinking they are obeying and pleasing God by observing them. And the “Law” being put away by the sacrifice of Christ! It is a tragedy of suffering in the Body of Christ, brought on by legalistic teachers persuading believers they are required to do these things in order to be saved. It is a heavy burden to bare. And unnecessarily so!
Thank you Pastor Begg! No matter what day anyone observes it's between them and God. Not too complicated. At least not with the Holy Spirit guiding me. Galatians 3:10-14 New International Version 10 For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”[a] 11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”[b] 12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”[c] 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”[d] 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
You make a serious error when reading this passage. It says you cannot RELY on the law to be saved, which is true - but you use the entirety of the passage to give license to sin because of faith. That one word "rely" changes everything. Jesus came to save us for the very reason that we Broke Gods law. He said Himself that _"For I assure you: Until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or one stroke of a letter will pass from the law until all things are accomplished."_ (Matt 5:18, HCSB) To be "under the Law", means to be crushed by the guilt of the Law. It doesnt mean that it is abolished. Otherwise, Christ had no need to be our sacrifice. The very passage you quote tells us this "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written" - Get that? The Law cursed us because why? Because we broke it! Is the Law a bad thing? Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. (Rom 7:12, KJV) You are teaching based on your own re-education by other false leaders with false teachings. Reading the Bible alone is your only safe haven. But do not cherry pick to support your own beliefs - a better term would be your own "presuppositions". Presuppositions carry with it the meaning of being taught something, and therefore allowing it to be what Biases our conclusions. Read ALL the texts in the Bible, not just ones that support your confirmation Bias, which we are all susceptible to.

All the verses you quote are in the Bible, and therefore, useful to make us holy. But you have to understand what they mean and where to apply them. In the Bible, the expression "Lord of the Sabbath" describes Jesus Christ. It appears in all three Synoptic Gospels: Matthew 12:1-8 Mark 2:23-28 Luke 6:1-5 These sections each describe an encounter between Jesus, his Apostles, and the Pharisees, the first of the four "Sabbath controversies". The expression means that Jesus is Christ the king, Lord of the Sabbath. As such, Jesus has the right, power, and authority to dispense the Sabbath in any way He pleases. Jesus' statement “The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath” in Luke 6:5 means “The Sabbath is under my dominion as the Messiah”. This is in opposition to people keeping a single day in a week as sabbath, when Jesus did not. Jesus is also Lord of the Sabbath because he is the one who provides full and final Sabbath rest to all who believe in him. Jesus Sabbath is greater than the Pharasee's sabbath. Just as Jesus is great than Moses, Abraham, the bread given in the wildreness, the water at the well, etc. These events are written for us to see Jesus is greater than all. Yet many choose one of these things at times as greater an glorify them over him, to their folly. The proof that Jesus did not honor the sabbath as understood by the hebrews is profound. When Jesus did as he pleased on those days, those who enforced the law in response turned to plot to murder him for what he had done. In their minds breaking the sabbath law.

What Does it Mean to Rest in the Lord | Christian Meditation To rest in him. To let go of our burdens and to let him carry them. Rest is trust. Rest equals peace. Rest means quieting all our racing thoughts, worries, and concerns, and turning them over to God. What does the Bible say about resting in the Lord? REST IS A BLESSING In peace I will lie down and sleep; for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint. But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will sour on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. What is true rest in Jesus? Jesus Offers True Rest | Our Daily Bread Ministries The Son of God offers us true rest-a rest that has to do with knowing God. His invitation is a spiritual one; to know Jesus and His ways, and to begin a personal walk with Jesus that will transform all our thoughts, deeds, and relationships. “Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.” - Psalm 62:1, NIV If you have ever had a packed schedule, a full day or an excessive load of responsibilities, you probably know how easy it is to become tired. When we face burnout, we need to remember to rest, not only physically but also spiritually. However, we cannot find this rest through our own power. Rather, we must find rest in God and the hope and peace He has to offer. Don’t Be Afraid to Take a Break “By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.” - Genesis 2:2-3, NIV Some people don’t seem to see taking a break as an option. Whether because of limited time, guilt over not doing anything or conflicting priorities, it can seem that taking a break is a misuse of time and an inappropriate choice. However, this is merely a lie we tell ourselves. Taking breaks is important. Let’s look at some examples of Bible verses about rest. As early as Genesis 2, intentional rest is seen in the Bible. On the seventh day, God himself rested from creating the world. In Exodus, one of the Ten Commandments instructs us to remember the Sabbath, a day for the Lord after six days of work. Fast-forward to the New Testament and we can see that even Jesus took the time to rest. In Mark 4, Jesus sleeps on a boat despite the tumultuous storm raging around him. In Luke 10:38-42, we hear the story of two sisters, Mary and Martha. Martha is busy preparing everything for Jesus and Mary sits at his feet. When Martha inquires about getting Mary’s help, Jesus tells her that Mary chose what was better. It is okay to take a break and rest in God’s presence. The Bible warns us not to become lazy, but it also encourages finding rest for your soul in Jesus Christ. Rest for Your Soul “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” - Matthew 11:28-30, NIV In Matthew 11, Jesus said, “I will give you rest.” When we are worn out, beaten and empty, we can turn to God to find peace and relief from our burdens. In Psalm 23:2-3, David describes this as “He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.” We, too, can be refreshed by God. You may be wondering, “How do I refresh my soul and rest in God?” Here are some practical ways to find rest for your soul: Prayer: Take the time to pray and slow your pace. As Jesus said in Matthew 11, “Come to me … and I will give you rest.” Remove Distractions: Sometimes our routines and habits can overwhelm or distract us. These distractions are not the same for everyone. Limiting or removing these distractions can help us refresh. Bible Study: Spending time in God’s word is one way to grow closer to Him. The Bible is full of stories of hope, peace and grace that we can all use during busy times. Practice Thankfulness: Another way to find rest for your soul is to practice thankfulness. Sometimes we focus so much on what we need to do next or our goals that we don’t focus on God where we are and we become worn down. Be Still: It is important at times to just listen in the quiet. Go out in nature and enjoy the wonder of God. Be still in His presence. Grand Canyon University cherishes a Christian Identity and Mission.
Ephesians 5:30 For WE ARE MEMBERS OF HIS BODY
Now expound under the Light of all scripture!
And so now to Hebrews 4
1 Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be deemed to have fallen short of it. 2 For we also received the good news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it. 3 Now we who have believed enter that rest. As for the others, it is just as God has said:“So I swore on oath in My anger, ‘They shall never enter My rest.’ ”
Now expound in the Light of all scripture!

Who said so?
Biblical Perspective on Sunday Worship
1. No Direct Command:
- The New Testament does not explicitly command or even provide a slight indication for the replacement of the Sabbath with Sunday worship. The focus of the New Testament is on the resurrection of Jesus, rather than instituting Sunday as a new day of rest or worship.
2. Continuity with Sabbath Observance:
- Jesus observed the Sabbath regularly, as seen in Luke 4:16 and Matthew 5:17-19. The apostles’ observance of the Sabbath is also documented in Acts 13:14, 15:21, 16:13, 17:2, and 18:4. These references underline the Sabbath's importance in their practice.
3. Gentile Converts and the Sabbath:
-Gentile converts to Christianity continued to observe the Sabbath, indicating its ongoing importance in early Apostolic Christian practice and highlighting its continued significance. In Acts 13:42 and 44, we see that these converts were present in the synagogue keeping the Sabbath, showing their continued observance and respect for this day.
4. Unscriptural Theological Development:
- The practice of Sunday worship developed gradually over time during the post-apostolic era, influenced by theological reflections and traditions prevalent in the Roman Empire at that time. These aimed to honor Sunday observance, using Jesus' resurrection on that day as an unwarranted justification. This development was not based on an explicit New Testament command or practice but diverged from the original Sabbath observance, which is one of the commandments in the Decalogue.
5. Deviation from Apostolic Practice:
- The early Church Fathers deviated from the original teaching and practice of Jesus and the apostles regarding the Sabbath commandment. As prophesied by Paul in Acts 20:29 (KJV), "For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock", there was a significant departure from the original apostolic teaching and practice.
6. Pagan Origins of Sunday Worship:
-Sunday worship has pagan origins steming from historical and cultural practices that predate Christianity.
Here's a summary of this perspective:
1. Roman Sun Worship:
- In ancient Rome, Sunday was dedicated to the sun god, Sol Invictus. This day was considered auspicious for sun worship, and various sun deities were honored on this day, including the later imperial cults.
2. Heliocentric Influence:
- The influence of heliocentric (sun-centered) religion was widespread in the Roman Empire. Sunday was already a day of rest and celebration in honor of the sun, a practice that was integrated into Christian worship practices as Christianity became more entrenched in Roman culture.
3. Early Christian Adaptation:
- As Christianity spread through the Roman Empire, church leaders adapted certain cultural and religious practices to facilitate conversion and integration. The observance of Sunday as a day of worship was influenced by the existing Roman tradition of sun worship, helping to bridge the gap between pagan practices and Christian worship.
4. Constantine’s Edict:
- In 321 AD, Emperor Constantine issued an edict making Sunday a day of rest from labor, aligning with the established Roman practice and facilitating the transition to Christian observance. This move was part of a broader effort to merge Christian practices with prevailing cultural norms, which is basically paganism.
Conclusion
The New Testament does not provide a direct command or indication to replace the Sabbath with Sunday.

"Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome."

Jesus is the Sabbath rest, this is in Hebrews, a book written to Jews. Every command was repeated but Sabbath, because that is a permanent rest from your works by trusting the finished work of Christ. Worship God every day. Take a break at least once a week. Why is this hard? Because people wanna be Pharisees.

@@larrybedouin2921Yes Sunday is tradition but the original 7th day sabbath that was sanctified by God at creation and became part of the 10 commandments is NOT tradition.
That is the problem, Salvation is only through faith in the gospel of Jesus.
There is a plan in the works called Project 2025 which includes a forced Sunday Sabbath. Looks like we have come full circle to Daniel & the boys

Beautiful teaching of Gods Word.
Sabbath made for man .. after the 7th day God rested.. no morning and evening. ..Hebrews sabbath rest.. enjoyed your preaching good word. Learning and studying here.
This is not a true statement. The Bible itself says God rested on the Seventh Day: _"Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. _*_And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day_*_ from all his work which he had made."_ (Gen 2:1-2, KJV)
Also, a "day" was already defined as "evening and morning," the first day, the second day, the third day... etc. The meaning of what a day means was already explained in the first chapter of Genesis,
_"And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the _*_evening and the morning were the first day."_* (Gen 1:5, KJV)
It pays to read what the Bible actually says on a subject.
Additionally, the Bible teaches that the Sabbath is for all of Mankind, not just for the Jews: _Then He told them, _*_“The Sabbath was made for man_*_ and not man for the Sabbath."_ (Mark 2:27, HCSB)
And again: _"And _*_the foreigners_*_ who join themselves to the LORD minister to Him, love the name of Yahweh and become His servants, _*_all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it_*_ and who hold firmly to My covenant - I will bring them to My holy mountain and let them rejoice in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar, for _*_My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.”_* (Isa 56:6-7, HCSB)

But what was the Law changed to? That capitalized “change” is a different Greek word from the first one in this verse. Different word, different meaning. Right? So what is our meaning here? Here are two more examples of how this Greek word is used. I have capitalized the words for clarity.
Heb 11:5 “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his TRANSLATION (3331) he had this testimony, that he pleased God.”
Now, was Enoch “changed,” or was he moved to somewhere else? He was moved or transferred somewhere else. This is one meaning of this word. This next verse will show that even more conclusively.
Heb 12:27 “And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the REMOVING (3331) of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.”
Removal! That nails it. The Mosaic Law was removed out of the way. “Change” just doesn't quiet get it. “But, but, but; how can we be sure?” This verse will add clarity to it.
Heb 7:18 “For there is verily a DISANNULLING (115) of the commandment (the Law) going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.”
Here Paul is writing in the same context as the original verse 12 at the top of this post.
Heb 8:13 “In that he saith a new Testament, he hath abrogated (3822) the old: now that which is disannulled (3822) and waxed old, is ready to vanish away.” (854)
(3822) means “obsolete” and (854) means to “disappear.” And that was 2000 years ago when Hebrews was originally written!
Of course there was no corn until the discovery of the new world in 1492
Old English corn meant grains, wheat, rye, barley, oats etc,
Thank you Pastor Begg! No matter what day anyone observes it's between them and God. Not too complicated. At least not with the Holy Spirit guiding me.
Galatians 3:10-14
New International Version
10 For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”[a] 11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”[b] 12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”[c] 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”[d] 14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.
You make a serious error when reading this passage. It says you cannot RELY on the law to be saved, which is true - but you use the entirety of the passage to give license to sin because of faith. That one word "rely" changes everything. Jesus came to save us for the very reason that we Broke Gods law. He said Himself that _"For I assure you: Until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or one stroke of a letter will pass from the law until all things are accomplished."_ (Matt 5:18, HCSB)
To be "under the Law", means to be crushed by the guilt of the Law.
(Rom 7:12, KJV)
You are teaching based on your own re-education by other false leaders with false teachings.

New International Version
4 Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
5 One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. 6 Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7 For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. 8 If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. 9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.
10 You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister[a]? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. 11 It is written:
“‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’”[b]
12 So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.

Jesus actually says to Judge "righteous judgement".
Paul says to correct your brothers lest you too fall into condemnation.
All the verses you quote are in the Bible, and therefore, useful to make us holy. But you have to understand what they mean and where to apply them.
Most scholars of the NT passage you quote Romans 14:4-12 believe that it is addressing a day of fasting. But here you are, quoting it as though it is supporting your own presuppositions. It says nothing at all about Sabbath keeping, or keeping the Commandments. However, because you are biased to believe something else, you find verses that seem to fulfill your beliefs, even changing their meaning. This is a serious theological error - and it also means it is a habit that follows you in other areas of life.
It is a strong individual that can self analyze and check themselves to make sure they are living in reality. It can be fearful to investigate our perspectives, but it is worth it.

▸ Keeping the sabbath was part of the law that Christ took away. “He . . . canceled out the certificate of death consisting of decrees against us . . .; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day-things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ” (Colossians 2:14-17). This teaching is errant as the Christian is "dead to the law" (Rom 7:4)
In the Bible, the expression "Lord of the Sabbath" describes Jesus Christ. It appears in all three Synoptic Gospels:
Matthew 12:1-8
Mark 2:23-28
Luke 6:1-5
These sections each describe an encounter between Jesus, his Apostles, and the Pharisees, the first of the four "Sabbath controversies".
In their minds breaking the sabbath law.
quote---The expression means that Jesus is Christ the king, Lord of the Sabbath. As such, Jesus has the right, power, and authority to dispense the Sabbath in any way He pleases. __Jesus has NO authority to change the Sabbath!!!

I REST IN JESUS
Find rest for your souls (Matthew 11:28-30) Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
What does it mean to rest in Jesus?
What Does it Mean to Rest in the Lord | Christian Meditation
To rest in him. To let go of our burdens and to let him carry them. Rest is trust. Rest equals peace. Rest means quieting all our racing thoughts, worries, and concerns, and turning them over to God.
What does the Bible say about resting in the Lord?
REST IS A BLESSING
In peace I will lie down and sleep; for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint. But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will sour on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
What is true rest in Jesus?
Jesus Offers True Rest | Our Daily Bread Ministries
The Son of God offers us true rest-a rest that has to do with knowing God. His invitation is a spiritual one; to know Jesus and His ways, and to begin a personal walk with Jesus that will transform all our thoughts, deeds, and relationships.
“Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.” - Psalm 62:1, NIV
If you have ever had a packed schedule, a full day or an excessive load of responsibilities, you probably know how easy it is to become tired. When we face burnout, we need to remember to rest, not only physically but also spiritually.
However, we cannot find this rest through our own power. Rather, we must find rest in God and the hope and peace He has to offer.
Don’t Be Afraid to Take a Break
“By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.” - Genesis 2:2-3, NIV
Some people don’t seem to see taking a break as an option.
Rest for Your Soul
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” - Matthew 11:28-30, NIV
In Matthew 11, Jesus said, “I will give you rest.” When we are worn out, beaten and empty, we can turn to God to find peace and relief from our burdens.
In Psalm 23:2-3, David describes this as “He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.” We, too, can be refreshed by God.
You may be wondering, “How do I refresh my soul and rest in God?” Here are some practical ways to find rest for your soul:
Prayer: Take the time to pray and slow your pace. As Jesus said in Matthew 11, “Come to me … and I will give you rest.”
Remove Distractions: Sometimes our routines and habits can overwhelm or distract us.
