    What are your tips for not getting goggle lines (besides not swimming)? 🤔

    Thank you so much for making a video like this. I struggle a lot with goggle marks, and since the beginning of last week, they have gotten extremely bad. My goggles have lightened and sort of bleached the skin it rests on, so I basically have white marks all day long. It's been so hard finding other people both in person and online that struggle with this too. They've gotten so bad that I almost cry every time I look at my face in the mirror and can't go to school without feeling super insecure. I've tried so many concealers and foundations to cover them and nothing has worked. This week, I'll try putting moisturizer around my eyes and experimenting with my goggle fit. I already have the Trihard swimmer eye gel on my wishlist. Thank you!!!! ❤❤❤

    This is a huge problem of mine. Tried many goggles, none was better than the other. So sunglasses it is. It is a fortunate thing that bike and run still comes after a swim, so there is a time for it to vanish, before I get to the finish line, and people could notice. 😂

      Have you tried out custom-fitted goggles? Our goggles differ to other brands as they don't rely on suction to keep the water out. We also have a fit guarantee so if you are not happy with them then we will give you a full refund ✨

    After trying about 8 different makes/styles of goggles i resorted to face mask type goggles. No problems or worries since. This was mostly to prevent leakage rather than 'goggle eyes' ....im not that vain😉

    I like using the Aquasphere vistas that have a skirt on it. You get lines on your forehead, and around cheek bone, but it goes away quickly. I'd prefer that than racoon eyes that can accelerate having permanent eye bags.

  • @robohippy

    A long time ago, I heard some one say that to test the fit of the goggles, put them over your eyes, and give a light push. They should form a slight vacuum and stay in place. I have a very wide face, and every pair I get I never even consider the smaller nose bridge pieces. Always go to the largest one. Some will fit and some won't. If you cinch them up too tight, that makes for a headache.... I do need to try the Magic 5 ones. I wish they came with the sweep smooth curve rather than the facets.

    • @themagic5goggles
      @themagic5goggles ปีที่แล้ว

      The angles helps with the peripheral - you will particularly notice this in open water! :)

    • @robohippy
      @robohippy ปีที่แล้ว

      @@themagic5goggles Well, with any other goggles that have facets in them, they kind of give me double vision. Can't see how they would help peripheral vision at all. In part, I can't understand how they could be better than just a swept back design. I am a pool swimmer. I have been accused of 'over analyzing' things....

    • @themagic5goggles
      @themagic5goggles ปีที่แล้ว

      @@robohippy I completely understand your concern for double vision! This would be an issue if the lens bend in the middle of your sightline, but on our goggles, the bend is just below this, and the fact is that you don't notice the angled panels, especially not when you are in the water. All four panels were designed to enhance your peripheral vision and give you a feeling that you are not "boxed in", but rather are able to see everything that is going on around you. This is also one of the qualities that we have received most positive feedback about (along with the level of comfort), so I would say it works as planned ✨
      I hope this makes sense, otherwise please don't hold back if you have any other questions or concerns we can help you with 🥰

    Man, there is so much, what you can advice about goggles, but you just presented the magic5 and a moisturizer. I see people everyday, wearing the straps wrong, not knowing the importance of nose bridge, not knowing how to store the goggles, how to differenciate between indoor and outdoor glass, what’s the difference between single strap on the sides and double strap (which is super annoying off the wall). But „you have to try a few pairs out” is all I can call helpful in this video. (Btw. I use magic5 and they are the most comfortable)

    • @princethumper

      @@princethumper yes, the goggles are perfect fit, (relief for me, I have kind of skinny face), and fog free if you store them dry. Just on your point of smelling like chlorine and disguising it...Did you know that chlorine has no smell and only gets the typical chlorine smell once you ad urine to it. Check out Mark Rober's channel who did the experiments to prove this. Anyways on that note maybe it's best to scrub that smell off before going to work otherwise you are literally wearing other people's urine for perfume all day.

    That vid is cleary a hidden stunt for a certain brand of goggles... I hate those videos where I feel I am seeing too much of a sponsor, and only that same brand over and over again. That said, I will only buy Magic5 when they will merge with Forms. Right now, I do have the choice between a game changer to help me know what I am doing when training, and a said game changer in terms of fitting. I choose the former. But I would like to have both simultaneously: a customized goggle giving me metrics while I swim.
