    Truly sad as i was looking at this company for awd subframe... They posted on facebook updating there subframe just last month instead of working on axle that people bought ig... Makes me think this awd Subframes gonna be the same ordeal. Sorry you went threw all this bro, but appreciate taking one for the 10th gen fam. Keep being the bigger man, and your head up bro it'll work out!

    It’s good that you stood up for yourself. Unfortunately I honestly believe filing it on the Better Business Bureau & making this video is good enough. Hopefully you get the refund or better yet your axels. 6 months is way too long and overhead costs are adding up. I think you’d save more just going to a local driveshaft shop than getting a lawyer and doing all that. 😢
    If it makes you feel better another TH-camr named Devin Naemila just blew his Honda Civic Type R AWD motor right when he thought his build was finished. Lol.

    Good on you for keeping your composure. I think it's great that you are bringing this to light. AKD for sure won't like this video but this is a product of their own bad choices. A professional shop should care for a customer's progress on their build, it's a team effort.

    Unfortunately, for every good performance shop or vendor, there are 100 bad ones. After going through a build myself, I'll never modify another car again - it left such a bad taste in my mouth. Sorry you had to go through it, but delays, cost overruns, and blatant deception are the norm.

    If you do get your lawyers involved, it could possibly be even bigger issue surrounding the company as the other "300" people may have issues. Good luck with your build and appreciate you for performing such a swap to enjoy. Will be looking to do it on my 9th gen accord at some point

    There’s always two sides to a story but just seeing that email chain and the complete unprofessionalism from AKD doesn’t leave much room for sympathy. He gives a 6 week timetable after taking payment but expects the customer to just keep quiet and wait indefinitely without any questions even after 6 months have passed? And it’s not even like you were frequently pestering him either. Even if you were the business needs to maintain professional. He could have refunded you at any time if he didn’t want your business. Oh well hope you get your refund and your patience level is very commendable.

    They fr dropped the bag on this one. Honestly kind of shocking to see those responses from a business owner. I think one of your positive steps you can take for not only yourself but for the community of customers who are probably dealign with the same bs is getting the BBB involved. Hope you get that refund

    Speed shop shenanigans
    I started my build overl a year ago on September 19th
    Ordered a short block still currently in-work. The block was machined and stroker kit and all other parts were ready since February lol. I'm finally in queue for build. Unknown when it will start.
    Ordered a big brake kit. Was told 4 weeks. Got the brackets, rotors in hats 7 weeks in. I'm still waiting on hardware, SS lines and additional brackets.
    Ordered a radiator w/ thermofam kit. Was told 4 weeks. Took 286 days and they still failed to weld on a filler neck.
    Timelines are some bs. Speed shops, parts shops etc don't care after they take your money.
    What's really bs is his lack of poise and professionalism with his responses. He's a pos.

    I purchased a kit back in 2020 and in 2024 I am still waiting for my parts. Even when they stated they would issue a refund Stephen still just tells me he will issue the refund when he feels like it. This is the worse company I have ever dealt with. I will continue to talk bad on the company because I was scammed for thousands!

    Stephen Dunn is the owner ! He was going build Mitsubishi axles. I pulled out of that and idk where it lays now.

    I believe I can help if u need custom axles still. Ik fab shop near me that makes axles for offroad trucks. I'll check w them. Depending what ur city in too lmk WHT city/state

    Try reporting to the consumer protection bureau either of your state or federal

    Get a lawyer and sue them. Report them the the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and any local or state business governing entities. Take that business for everything you can after the way it lied to you and how rude they were to you.

    Dump this company and go somewhere else. You've been completely respectful while Stephen will throw you tantrums like a kid. A company run by this guy that can't keep to maintain professionalism and respect isn't worth a single cent more. Get your refund and then go somewhere else.

    He needs anger management. You don’t talk to someone spending 2 grand on axles! He needs to be apologizing for him being so late. He won’t get a dime of my money. You didn’t ask for too much. 2 grand isn’t chump change. 6 months and just words being exchanged.
