    Peter's humility is on scale with his enormous talent. Perhaps rock climbing's best role model ever!

    Peter Croft is just such an increadible legend and a climber I totally enjoy listening to. Doing 50 to 100 pitches of climbing per day is beyond my comprehension. A really good solid and full day for me is 10 pitches, of any grade (even easy-for-me stuff). It is just mind boggling. Wow.

      100 pitches in a day is quite unbelievable. At ten minutes per pitch, it's almost seventeen hours of nonstop climbing. That doesn't include time getting from one pitch to the other.

      @@PBeetheFox not all pitches are the same length. They can range from 60-200'

    Climbing legends of his age are rare. I'd like to think Honnold will also manage to live a long life.

    !!!EDIT!!! ;I GOT SCHOOLED BY A REPLY...;
    I love how Alex and Peter have such a close relationship Peter can openly call out Alex for hyperbole. And Alex will probably say, "well... That's fair."

      If you're talking about what Peter says at 5:40 you might have misunderstood what he was saying, I had to rewind that part a couple times because at first I thought it sounded like he was doubting what Alex said but it's because he kind of stumbled a bit. It sounds like he was saying he doubted Alex was "ready to keep going" after the Freerider solo and Peter thinks he's "kind of blowing smoke" but if you listen close he's actually saying that people were saying that about Alex after and he was correcting THEM by saying "no way" and that he thought it was very believable. If I'm misunderstanding you I apologize but when I first listened to that I thought he was calling Alex out but after relistening to that part a few times I realized he was actually saying that he believed Alex and that he thought it was great to hear that he was over prepared.

      5:48 "They're kinda like; 'yeah, I think he is blowing smoke' ...."
      Your are 100% correct!
      Peter WAS stating that he did believe Alex felt good enough to free solo free rider twice.
      I will edit my og comment.

      @@ClimbingEasy Haha well I figured that was what you were talking about since I thought the same exact thing until Peter kept talking and I realized something seemed a bit off lol.

    I am kinda concerned that some kid has fired off a couple hard routes and see what you do and want to try it. Is there any advice you can give?
    All I can say is that if you get off the deck, maybe 500 feet, and you blow it, and as you are falling, you did it for anyone but yourself or so someone to stand up and take notice, you had a bad trick played on you.
