Happy birthday! I turned 54 on the 23rd. As for the buggy, after 3 years of city bashing, I love my TLR typhon. Doing some upgrades next week with a new transmitter and lighting.
Happy Birthday Phil. I've watched a good portion of your videos and I love the enthusiasm, commitment, joy and pride you bring to the RC hobby. I wish you good health, strong A Arms, and may your shocks never leak oil. Love from the US.
HELLO Mr. T.....I just wanted to Thank you for your honesty....I really appreciate you showing all or most of your mishaps while testing a new car. I look forward to your latest videos because I believe you are the most honest person out there....Kev is good but I don't believe he shows as much as you do. Also you are one of the Best Photographers I've have seen in a while. I was a professional photographer back in the 80s( I am actually published)...I really appreciate all your artistic skills. Thank you for such a great channel.
Your respect quotient with me just went through the ceiling! From one vet to another - I just now saw that you served -, Happy birthday! Mine was on the 18th; I've completed 71 laps around our star. Keep on truckin", amigo!
Now THIS is a balanced jumper! I criticize other nose heavy RC’s for being unsuitable for jumping and other people don’t see it. This is what you want for jumping. Light, balanced, predictably correctable. Put some MT tires on it and it might be a stunt master. It already has 17mm hexes, 4s, and metal gears. Only wish? Honestly, I wish it had more plastic. But we will see how the chassis and dog bones hold up.
Happy birthday. Mine was on the 7th. Looks like a decent buggy. If it doesn't have motor/motor plate issues it get my vote. My senton 3s motor shit the bed after 4 packs and the .motor plate was bent when I replaced the motor
Nice one and happy birthday. I bought their Python (6s) a couple of years ago because at the time it was cheaper than most 3s models and i found exactly the same, it was really well set up straight out the box. I said back then that Arrma et al had better start to pull their socks up and got pooh poohed on a few forums. Corally are definitely as good as if not better than most.
I've got a typhon I've added a hobbywing 4s setup too. It's a lot of power on 4s and and replaced basically every part atleast once on it.. I've got an entire parts car and crate of spares.. I just bash on it freely because I've collected so many parts😅 quick trip to the parts bin and she's as good as new.
Nice job! Happy Bday to you Sir! That's quite impressive driving, especially for one handed!! Wow! I have no idea why you're driving it one handed but, nicely done just the same. Maybe you could utilize the lanyard TC included with the Syncro to wear your phone or whatever camera you're using around your neck? Then you could use two hands to drive, LOL. The buggy looks great, really gets on it seems? I love what TC is doing, they're definitely shaking things up in the rc world, which is refreshing I think. Keep up the great work Mr. Tomley!!💯✌✊
Definitely impressed with the Corally range. My Asuga handles amazing. We've tested the Radix 6S, Skeeter and Kagama also. I keep saying it but the only thing I can fault Corally on so far is their cheese metal wheel nuts.
I have had great fun with my TC cars. From the Asuga, spark, Kronos, Jambo, and Kagama I have a wonderful bashing convoy. I will add this one soon! I hate how a hard it is to get some parts but it has been much better of late.
1 handed steering is MUCH more difficult than two handed!! Especially using oddball radios!!! I'm a March b-day too, so 'Happy Birthday!' to you! Keep up the great work, I keep watchin!!
Heyy this christmas video went well with the sudden snowfall again lol, thought it was gonna be summer soon but today told me otherwise. Anyway Happy Birthday!
Looks great, I'm really surprised about the wheel issue as they had this in the past, I know it's a new tyre but wheel cpuld be the same as before. I'm guessing still no serrated nuts, glad to see they have a radio you can turn the power down on though
Gearing for speed is cool and all, but I much prefer having a ratio I know I can thrash about all day and not worry about temps or excess strain on the motor.
I had to ask Alexa just to see and I got 2 completely different definitions lol. Tomley, you’re a really likeable bastard you know that? Keep em coming brosky!
Thanks, looks great. Im looking to purchase my first 1/8th buggy and im based in the UK, does anyone know if its easier to get spares for Team Corally or Arrma in the UK? Thanks!
Is it normal that the diffs make so much noise?? And it it seems to be the central one? as if you spin each axle individually the noise is not so loud...
i am going to have to find that "happy birthday" audio from the beginning of the video LoL anways, happy birthday Phil thanks for all the great work over my past 2 1/2 years of subscriber-ship, top tier RC content 👍 regards from Washington DC
That thing was going around the track and jumping like the Rlaarlo Omni-Terminator you tested there… but it’s a buggy😳… weird comparison, I know, but those two vehicles performed a lot like each other… guess that means they are both good vehicles?? In my opinion
Happy birthday tomley! Normally I'm excited for team corally releases but this feels very underwhelming. It seems like somewhere between a 3s typhon and the radix 6s. It's just a weird spot between the 2. Definitely depends on the price. I was hoping for an update to their stunt truck lineup. Hopefully soon
Happy birthday mate from a northern basher 👍 definitely looks like a good one !! Great video once again 👏 team corally won my heart with the kronos and they are getting better with each release
Dude, you are either really good at driving one handed, or that buggy is dialed in right out of the box. I was really impressed by how the buggy stayed street during your speed runs. Looking forward to running it when it arrives.
My experience of the Syncro 4 since it arrived about three weeks ago has been mediocre at best, the dam thing refused to go in a straight line, the front end required loads of adjustments and tweaks (build quality issues) , the rear shocks have no preload adjustment and the rear of the buggy sits so low it drags the ground when accelerating, the supplied Lanyard was only a promotional gimmick and now is no longer part of the package, on gravel the drive is constantly getting jammed up with stones and the battery starps are to long to secure the battery safely without adding foam pads .. Gens Ace 5000 mah4s and Core RC 5000mah 3s. (Modelsport Recommended) .. But after all this I still really like it ...
Im digging this! In other news. Why is it saying on TA site and google that the Rival MT10 is discontinued? Someone said their LHS said it’s getting cut in a FB post 3 days ago also. Anyone got any news on this? If TA cuts the favorite 1/10 basher on the market thatd be stupid. And theyd cut the Pro4 too i guess. Hopefully this is about the V1. Idk. Its been on the site a while but the fb post i just saw got me worried.
If it done 35mph on 3s, I would of expected 45-46mph on 4s on the same gears. Mind you I think the old Radix 4s done the same 40-41 mph on 4s, which makes sense as the motor & esc are the same in both buggys.
With my Typhon 3S I can play on Sunday and if I brake it order the parts on Monday and have them on Wednesday since they are available in Greece in a couple of stores. Team Corally parts?
I'm not seeing a US price online yet. Looks like a pretty okay buggy. Woukd have been nice to see them transfer over the big bore shocks. This could definitely give the 3 Typhon a run for its money. Happy Bday Phil
I love corally but the 6s typhon is such a fun car I don't see anything beating it when you take parts availability and upgradibility into account. Would love to see you review one!
Hi m8, ive watched your channel for a while now n im buying this next month. However it would be nice to see you do a 6s conversion on this. Yh u cud buy the spark but thats shelf not custom.
Alex kowaliuk here , I checked the price on this box buggy cus I like it but they are twice the price of the arrma 3s range Atleast in america that buggy is going for 470. Which it may be worth it but out of my budget range 😅😢
Love Corally, hate that controller. Don't know what it is but you need that extra little part at the bottom of the radio for whatever reason, it just looks and feels cheap otherwise.
@Tomley RC I am hoping that pose beside the Tonka at max means you were a Sootie ! I was 1997 - 2009 Tonkas and Merlin. May have crossed paths at some point
@@TomleyRC For sure but one good thing is if a wheel nut flys off you can still drive! Lol.. I might have missed it in the video but did they put serrated wheel nuts on this rig?
The typhon 6s is very often on sale for around $300cad cheaper than the 3s arrmas. Honestly at least for me I don’t see a good reason to pick this up over a typhon 6s. The stock price varies from under $500 to just over $500 anyway
Man I really want to consider this one but it all depends on parts support. Can anyone vouch for TC parts availability? Otherwise the extra is spent on the bigger brands that parts will be more readily available.
Tomleyrc I love your videos man they always give me a laugh and also keep me interested in rcs. I wish I had half the cars you have but because of you I have the three I do which is ftx dr8 morally Kronos and rlaarlo ak787 oh yeah forgot the hammer Rey lol.
Very nice and wild appearance but is slow even in 4s. In off road conditions a 4s lipo in 1/8 buggy is good, but for high top speed with stock pinion is slow. Maybe all the 4s 1/8 buggys have similar top speed. Sure you can make it faster with a bigger pinion, but the technology in speed controllers and brushless motors right now, is not so good to be able to drive in much higher top speeds without overheating problems. Maybe a 6s 1/8 model is better for higher top speeds, but the cost is much higher. That's why 1/8 off road rc cars are good for off roading instead in on road conditions. Lower gear ratios , long travel shocks, off road tyres, all these scream i am made for off road use and only there i shine a lot. One tooth bigger pinion gear, will show a bit bigger top speed, but more than this, overheating will start to appear.

This for $430 or a Typhon 6s for $500? I'll go with the Arrma.
It's $430?
Well in Finland a typhon 3s is the same price as this and a typhon 6s is 670$.
@@Rahvanteli yeah that's kind of what I'm expecting in the US as well. It should be slightly more than the 3S Typhon after coupon
It says 329 euros@@DoRC
Only if the Typhon is the TLR TUNED version

I had that problem with with the spark xb6, 1 wheel was stuck,
I like the narrower chassis on this one, looking forward to what upgrades are available
did the button on the remote have anything to do with the speed cuz on 4s the tires should have been going crazy!

Yes, all metal diffs including a centre diff. Metal gears are always loud

I think it’s been made for direct competition to the Typhon 3s
I had issues getting the SKETER wheels off.. Good old hair dryer heating the plastic rim made the plastic expand and it came off no worries at all...
Happy birthday. Thanks for the pic of you with the guitar. Never gonna unsee that

Hey was also my Bday this month! Happy Bday ^^

How many pence would it cost them to give that extra high speed drive gear? That would change everything for THEIR better.

I might do.
I have the spark what's the difference in the two of them I'll be 54 myself in April
It looks like it needs a little softer shock oil. But it ran great.
Smart on the composite towers..Buggies have exposed towers and metal tends to bend.
Sketer wheels were the same first time getting them off lol..Heat worrks and after that they come off n on with no problems
