This was so helpful! I couldn't get the 2nd stage to work quite right because my Hikari wasn't putting out the damage (no boost nuts used on him I guess). Had to improvise with hired help + jam spam to get the victory. On the edge of my seat!
Just defeated this guy. He is way harder than in OP1 its not even close. Defeated him with the exact same team you did. Although mine is at the 60s and no nutting. I messed up a little at the end but Hikari clutch it with the Conqueror's Axe. Best feeling I had in beating a JRPG boss in a long time. Doing with him unoptimized give me such a rush. 10/10 boss
Such a great guide! I had to change Hikari’s set up a bit so that he had more physical attack, in order to break all of his part with Partitio’s hired help. But other than that everything was perfect! Thank you for freeing me from this hell and granting me that platinum lol
i just beat it thanks to you! thanks a lot! I suffered with the turn order RNG, that messed up several runs and the other failed ones were because I honestly didnt know what to do. Anyway, great strategy and patience!
Yeah I ended up finding out much later about that. There is also the divine protection thing you can do with Hikari to ignore the turn where he does his super attack.

@Darrin Newcomer yeah it took a few attempts I had to improvise a bit on the first phase since Osvaldo wouldn't put out the same damage even with all buffs/debuffs but my Hikari had the exact same damage as yours did.
Thanks for this. After trying several attempts myself, and grinding up to level 70 and still failing that 2nd phase, this gave me some new ideas. Trying to break that final form before he destroys you is very hard- I never analyzed it to see its HP but it must be much less than the phase 1 part. I wish I got the crazy numbers with Hikari that you did. Not sure what I did wrong, I had the same gear and stats, and even had giants club, but no good. Maybe levels do mean something. Or limb from limb does more dmg the more HP you lost, and I wasnt at 9999.
Are you making sure Hikari has a physical attack boost, the boss has a defense down debuff, and he is doing a full boosted attack? If you’re using the gear I have exactly, then those should be the only factors that would change anything. If that still doesn’t work, check out the last few time stamps in my dps guide video and check out phase 2. It shows a way to deal with the boss if your Limb from Limb doesn’t hit as hard as mine. Alternatively, if you have discord and would like to do a voice call while streaming your game, I can see where the problem might be and help you through the fight.
@@DarrinNewcomer Sorry I should have specified that I meant the very last part where it's just the main boss, not his limbs. I was able to take out the limbs the same way you did (limb from limb and veterans- although my damage was a bit lower here too) but the Shinjumonjiguri did white numbers, no crits, and much less damage than yours. I was able to do an assassins hired help to finish him after the 2nd Shinjumonjiguri but clearly my Hikari damage wasn't up to par with yours and the only difference is your 9999 hp vs my 6500. (and im only level 70). However I had giants club and you didnt so that should have made up for most of it. I can post a screenshot of my Hikari stats. Whats the discord link?
@@GmanMoose Shwartznwald#5386 is my discord, but yeah if that problem is occurring, one thing I could recommend is to either use the critical scope by putting inventor on Temenos to guarantee the crits, or by using something like Lionheart's Axe.
Hey OP uh have a list of the monsters ochette should have captured for this strategy? And your previous one turn one? Also any post regarding how to distribute nuts for the characters?
I don’t remember if I post that anywhere other than my level 55 guide video, but what I’d recommend for it is any two axe hitting all monsters (there are multiple, but one can be found in the curious nest called the vagrant frog king) and the peak a boo, which can be found on southern Timberain trail. For the nuts, I don’t have a specific guide on where they “should” be used since there are a lot of valid combos, but basically I prioritized physical attack nuts on Hikari until around 999, then rest on Throne. Speed goes on Throne. E attack on Osvald, but you don’t need very many honestly as it’s really easy to hit 999 with him, and the other I personally would recommend Temenos for his nuke. Physical defense and HP all went on Hikari for me, and elemental defense went on Castti and Temenos. Crit nuts all went on Hikari.
Can you tell me how you managed to accrue 15 reinforcing jams? I couldn’t find it as a farmable item, and seem to have, throughout the course of the game, used all but one of the ones available to find in chests on as stealable items from NPCs, which doesn’t seem to have been that many 😢
@@Thingfishy as far as I know, they aren’t farmable. I don’t remember where I got every one unfortunately, as there were not guides or anything for that at the time. I was just very thorough about exploring to open chests, completing all side missions, and path actioning every single NPC everywhere (except for Osvald’s starting island, which I didn’t find out about until later).
Really nice work! The videos and the reddit posts are really helpful. I was wondering why i wasn't dealing the same damage as you, until I noticed that Peek a Boo debuffer. Where did you catch him? I'm using only the Frogking II and, of course, I don't reach that levels of damage.
I tried during 5 hours this comp, with all sames items and timing BUT i can't kill the phase 2. My hikari is lvl 88 with the same stats as yours BUT he don't deal this much damage.... Please I need help i can't beat him, even with lvl 90 allies....
So I’d recommend checking out my lvl 55 guide video. This specific video was more of a challenge video, while the lvl 55 one is an actual guide video to help with killing the boss. It even has me talking though the kill to say what to do. Alternatively, I’m cool helping over discord if you’d like.
Can you explain to me how or where to get the skill that has Hakari showing 1 hp / 9999 health. I have Alpionces necklace, deal more damage, and the correct swords etc.. The only thing missing from his build is the way I see everyone having his HP at 1. Is that an accessory that you can buy for that or is a quest given piece of amor ?
It's Alpiones Amulet. It has a secondary effect that makes you deal more damage the lower your health is, so you want your health at 1 to get the greatest effect.
@@DarrinNewcomer Ahhh, I will try that out whene I get home tonight, So just to be clear, you have to let your health get to 1 HP on your own ?. I was thinking that there was some sort of other gear that when worn, it would put you at 1 HP.
@@lioneljones8080 Yeah you have to get your health to 1 on your own. I don't know of any gear that does that, although you could use a forbidden elixir if you wanted to, although I prefer to just start a duel with a high level NPC and let them beat up Hikari.
Working like a charm for phase 1! I can't explain it, but for some reason he keeps getting an extra attack on phase 2. I wipe out all the limbs, then he stays untouchable til the end of that turn. But as soon as the next turn starts, it goes through the same about souls crying or whatever, then after that he'll do 2 all attacks and wipes out Hikari every time! I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong here 🤔
Welp, after about 30 tries, I finally cracked that sumbitch! Abused the hell out of turn negotiation with Partitio to buy me enough time for the Hikari killshot 💪 Thx for all your excellent tips here!
So just to make sure, is she also using the same support skills? Is she at max health, same physical attack/speed stats, physical attack boosted, speed boosted, and the enemy debuffed/broken?
In first Phase, when Galdera resummons the killed ghosts, they suddenly are only weak to elemental dmg, and Galdera Blocks all weaknesses but 1 dmg, so they kinda reflect now everything back to me. How do i avoid that?
So the only way to avoid it is to deal 300K damage to Galdera before he recovers from his broken state. If you do that, he will instead do the Eternal Rancor, where he curses your people and makes them die after a certain amount of turns if you don't kill the souls associated to them. He also won't block his weaknesses when he does this.
@@DarrinNewcomer can you also tell me, why your Hikari has 9999 HP? I have the exact same equip and skills like you. Even the Axe equiped, but he stays at the exact same HP 🤔
@@MPCMo The reason my Hikari has so much HP (his base HP is 9400 without Alpione's Amulet) is because he was my main character and I put like 99% of my HP nuts into him since he used to use the "incite+vengeful" combo. Here at the end of the game I realized I put way too many on him
2 days later, 40 attempts in, still couldnt Beat him. Can't increase Hikari HP, as i used wrongly the nuts, cause i didnt know they are so important. All Champs are 85+ I Beat all Souls Games and got Platin but i cannot Beat this Boss...
@@MPCMo So the Hikari HP is less important. One this I would suggest is going to my DPS guide video and using the time stamps to skip to the end where I fight the boss a few different ways with subclasses while talking through the fight. I show a way to kill phase 2 without it ever getting a chance to attack, so Hikari's HP won't matter. Alternatively, I also can help via discord assuming you are on PC if you'd prefer.
lol. You're doing the fight all these various ways and I'm paying the price for not leveling Hikari until the very end because I focused on Throne and my Hikari's damage even with same stuff is around 30-50k. I get to second phase pretty consistently, but eventually I just get blown up by the boss. I've been fighting him for like 6 hours straight with no luck. >:c
What specific abilities are you using on Hikari? Is he doing 30-50k total in phase two, or is that per hit (assuming you are using a multi hit ability like Lionhearts Axe)? Also, did you check out the build post that shows the gear and support skills I used? I can probably think of a way to to get around it if your Hikari can dish enough damage on phase 2
Part of it is probably that my Hikari has 6k-ish HP. I used limb from limb at the start, but the damage is lower for me. So because I can't destroy both parts before I can get to the phase where I can use Shinjumongiri or Lionheart's Axe (which I'm not sure if they do enough damage still because I haven't gotten to that point).
@@ValcristRoda so instead of using limb from limb, try out lionhearts axe. The difference between those two abilities is that lionhearts axe actually has a higher “potency”, so it’s easier to hit much higher per hit with it, and you’ll reach 99,999 per hit much faster with it than limb from limb. It’s only at a certain point when Hikari becomes strong enough that limb from limb can do over 200k, making limb from limb the better option since it’s not limited to 2 hits. Next time you get to phase 2, make sure Hikari is physical attacked buffed, the enemy is physical defense debuffed (should be from Temenos as long as it’s night), then try lionhearts axe instead.
@@DarrinNewcomer Yeah, that attack did well. Sucks that he keeps going for Hikari when he first gets a turn and then my run is basically ruined. Because I have to revive Hikari and then he does Almighty Swing or w/e and it just nukes my entire party. I guess I'll keep trying, but with Lionheart Axe instead of Limb from Limb.
@@ValcristRoda is lionhearts axe not able to one shot the appendages with a damage buff? Under the right setup, you can get a full boosted, physical attack buffed lionhearts on “turn 0” before the boss can make any moves
You can either use a forbidden elixir or just have them get beat up by something before you start this fight. If it's Hikari, just challenge a high level NPC and let them win. If it's a regular enemy, let the enemies kill the person you are trying to get to 1, then run away once they die. Use the cleric revive from the menu, and it will revive them at 1 HP.
Ι have phase 1 down perfectly with Throne as carry and Casti/ochete/patricio supportin her . But at phase 2 nothing works. I can't 1 shot the arms. Not even with Hikaris 4 limb strike and alpiones or Temenos heavely skill+ alpiones. Got best in slot items nothing works :(
Well, you may want to check out the end of my DPS guide. Don't worry about the rest of the guide and just check out the time stamps at the end. On that, I actually use suggested subclasses and talk throught both phases, and it shows a strategy using Hikari on Armsmaster to get through it without RNG. Alternatively, if you're on PC and want to go through the fight while in a voice chat, that's cool too.
The 2nd battle just simply doesn't work. I have Hikari with Armsmaster as a 2ndary which gets his Phys Atk just barely above yours in the reddit post and yet his limb from limb sometimes doesn't even kill the hand. The fact that you're lev 99 is playing a large role in this video because based off the reddit screens, all of your units have about 200 more stats in every area than my level 70 team
The extra levels would not give 200 more stats. In fact, 99 levels would only barely give 200 stats depending on the characters base class. Are you following the build I linked in the description exactly? Are you making sure Hikari is physical attack buffed and is using a max charged attack? If the answer is yes to both of those things, then I would recommend using Lionhearts Axe instead of Limb from Limb. Until your Hikari is strong enough to hit for over 200k with Limb from Limb, Lionhearts Axe will be able to more easily hit for 200k. Additionally, if you happen to have discord, I’d be happy to do a voice chat after work to double check everything and make sure you can get through the fight if you’d prefer that.
@@DarrinNewcomer I was mirroring the setup for this correctly, yes. I ended up using your other video instead since that allows Hikari to eliminate the claw and also remove the RNG of if it decides to AoE kill him instead of single target. The gap I might have been missing on this strat is that I hadn't used my crit nuts on Hikari yet, which the other one very much requires. Having the Ogre Staff also is a bug buff. I'd honestly encourage anyone trying this strat to just give Hikari the Armsmaster and make your life vastly easier

The intention was to show that you don't have to be absolutely OP with all the most optimal setups to beat the boss, hence why subclasses were not used here. Unfortunately TH-cam doesn't allow me to give my full description due to the character limit, but that's why I also linked to the reddit post with "additional information written out", which suggests using Lionheart's Axe if your Hikari can't one shot the appendages with Limb from Limb, although it is possible to do that with subclasses and the right setup. That being said, I went ahead and updated the description to specifically include that, as it is a way to remove the RNG of not killing the appendages on the first round. Thanks for letting me know!
Hi I'm level 99 I copied everything every gear and skill and copied every move right down to turn order according to your video, gave Hikari every phys/crit nut, phase 2 of your strat never worked, phase 1 was cakewalk. I ended up making Tenemos/agnea merchant and all 3 dudes spammed hired help assassin over and over while Hikari tanked after he 1hp wiped the limbs. Galdera's swipe and 4 move turn never let Hikari get shujimongiri off once. But your strat helped big time nonetheless I liked and subscribed
It wouldn’t. That damage difference would be based on her specific gear. Is she using the stuff I listed in my build post that is linked in the description? Also, are you breaking the boss and debuffing him?

Well there’s a few reasons that could be occurring. Does Throne have the same speed or more as my Throne? Are you making sure to initiate the battle at night? Are you doing it while throne is physical attack buffed, speed buffed, and the enemy is defense downed while broken? One thing that might help is also my recent mini guide on “levels versus gear/skills”. It’s about 7 minutes and I think might apply to this situation.
So there’s a lot of different factors on doing that, and it also depends on the character/what abilities they are using. I have a pretty thorough guide on how to get your damage values up to that, but in short, you want to use things like the Battle Tested Blade, Giants Club (not used in this video), Alpiones Amulet, Finishers Claws, ect. It’s also important to buff your attack and debuff the enemies defense, and if possible, make sure they are broken. Depending on the abilities base damage that you are using will determine how many of these factors you need in order to hit 99k hits, as you don’t need many of them to hit for 99k with something like Lionhearts Axe, while you’ll need all of them to hit for 99k with something like Limb from Limb

@@Learii in that case, I’d recommend going to the DPS guide video I made and using the time stamps to skip to the final portion of the video where I talk through a few different ways to kill the boss while I fight it. Just scroll to the second phases and I show a few ways to kill phase 2 so he never gets a single attack off
I think Aeber's Reckoning is too broken though. On endgame, it is way too OP, and can cheat either phase 1 or 2. To balance this harder, I wish Aeber Reckoning is nerfed and that there should be no any same weakness between each soul in phase-1. So players can't use axe to easily break all too. Other than that is to ban the BP up items, then we would actually have a real hardest boss in RPG.
Well, if Aeber's is too powerful, they would have to do something about Lionheart's as well considering it's easier to hit 99k with it, and it hits twice.
@@DarrinNewcomer well lionheart require set up to do AoE right. or tbh, they don't need to fix any of those damage, just make a hard cut on boss HP receive to not allow skip phase. (something like many game does, where each boss phase has different HP bar) Not many players even know that there is phase 2 and phase 3 exist in each parts now because everyone gain access to broken damage strategy, First boss has very difficult second phase, where they have different elemental weakness on each part, and they are spell only. Counter passive is also still there. And from each youtube I have seen. everyone skip that phase, just because of the broken damage they done with Aeber and lionheart. Which make boss become easy. Third phase also has it where the soul absorbed and combine with the core.. this I also never seen in youtube due to skip. May be this boss could be so fun if passive for uncap 9,999 weren't allowed! So players can see every phase!
Is it possible for you to do one video with the condition of no uncap damage? (max 9,999) So that we can see every phases of the boss battle, and I don't mind if you gonna do level 99 for it.
@@PST07 I could, although it would utiliize a different strategy. The thing about a 9999 max hit kill is that BP and super optimal setups becomes less important since even supports can easily hit 9999. Are you just wanting to see how to deal with it? I was thinking of doing a more thorough guide using level 55 characters while allowing the first phase to do all of his various phases/attacks to show how to deal with it. In that, I would still be using deal more damage, but I would purposely not do 300k so that specific attack occurs.
@@DarrinNewcomer yeah wanna see how to do it when the damage is limit to 9,999 and see phase 1 2 3 on the first boss and second boss. It is interesting to see full boss battle rather than skip phase.
@@mgsxmike yep! You don’t necessarily need the frog king; any double axe hitting (all) monster will work. There is a lizard enemy in the sunken maw that does the same thing.
@@mgsxmike Which phase of the fight? Phase 1 will consistently lock his weaknesses when the souls come out until you get him below half health, so they have to be killed first if that's what you're referring to.

The only thing missing from his build is the way I see everyone having his HP at 1. Is that an accessory that you can buy for that or is a quest given piece of amor ?
It's Alpiones Amulet. It has a secondary effect that makes you deal more damage the lower your health is, so you want your health at 1 to get the greatest effect.
@@DarrinNewcomer Ahhh, I will try that out whene I get home tonight, So just to be clear, you have to let your health get to 1 HP on your own ?. I was thinking that there was some sort of other gear that when worn, it would put you at 1 HP.
@@lioneljones8080 Yeah you have to get your health to 1 on your own. I don't know of any gear that does that, although you could use a forbidden elixir if you wanted to, although I prefer to just start a duel with a high level NPC and let them beat up Hikari.

Working like a charm for phase 1! I can't explain it, but for some reason he keeps getting an extra attack on phase 2. I wipe out all the limbs, then he stays untouchable til the end of that turn. But as soon as the next turn starts, it goes through the same about souls crying or whatever, then after that he'll do 2 all attacks and wipes out Hikari every time! I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong here 🤔

Using the same equipment for Throné but she isn’t hitting 100k. Any tips to increase the damage ?
So just to make sure, is she also using the same support skills? Is she at max health, same physical attack/speed stats, physical attack boosted, speed boosted, and the enemy debuffed/broken?
In first Phase, when Galdera resummons the killed ghosts, they suddenly are only weak to elemental dmg, and Galdera Blocks all weaknesses but 1 dmg, so they kinda reflect now everything back to me. How do i avoid that?
So the only way to avoid it is to deal 300K damage to Galdera before he recovers from his broken state. If you do that, he will instead do the Eternal Rancor, where he curses your people and makes them die after a certain amount of turns if you don't kill the souls associated to them. He also won't block his weaknesses when he does this.

@@MPCMo The reason my Hikari has so much HP (his base HP is 9400 without Alpione's Amulet) is because he was my main character and I put like 99% of my HP nuts into him since he used to use the "incite+vengeful" combo. Here at the end of the game I realized I put way too many on him
2 days later, 40 attempts in, still couldnt Beat him. Can't increase Hikari HP, as i used wrongly the nuts, cause i didnt know they are so important. All Champs are 85+

@@MPCMo So the Hikari HP is less important. One this I would suggest is going to my DPS guide video and using the time stamps to skip to the end where I fight the boss a few different ways with subclasses while talking through the fight. I show a way to kill phase 2 without it ever getting a chance to attack, so Hikari's HP won't matter. Alternatively, I also can help via discord assuming you are on PC if you'd prefer.
lol. You're doing the fight all these various ways and I'm paying the price for not leveling Hikari until the very end because I focused on Throne and my Hikari's damage even with same stuff is around 30-50k. I get to second phase pretty consistently, but eventually I just get blown up by the boss. I've been fighting him for like 6 hours straight with no luck. >:c
What specific abilities are you using on Hikari? Is he doing 30-50k total in phase two, or is that per hit (assuming you are using a multi hit ability like Lionhearts Axe)? Also, did you check out the build post that shows the gear and support skills I used? I can probably think of a way to to get around it if your Hikari can dish enough damage on phase 2
Part of it is probably that my Hikari has 6k-ish HP. I used limb from limb at the start, but the damage is lower for me. So because I can't destroy both parts before I can get to the phase where I can use Shinjumongiri or Lionheart's Axe (which I'm not sure if they do enough damage still because I haven't gotten to that point).
@@ValcristRoda so instead of using limb from limb, try out lionhearts axe. The difference between those two abilities is that lionhearts axe actually has a higher “potency”, so it’s easier to hit much higher per hit with it, and you’ll reach 99,999 per hit much faster with it than limb from limb. It’s only at a certain point when Hikari becomes strong enough that limb from limb can do over 200k, making limb from limb the better option since it’s not limited to 2 hits. Next time you get to phase 2, make sure Hikari is physical attacked buffed, the enemy is physical defense debuffed (should be from Temenos as long as it’s night), then try lionhearts axe instead.
@@DarrinNewcomer Yeah, that attack did well. Sucks that he keeps going for Hikari when he first gets a turn and then my run is basically ruined. Because I have to revive Hikari and then he does Almighty Swing or w/e and it just nukes my entire party. I guess I'll keep trying, but with Lionheart Axe instead of Limb from Limb.
@@ValcristRoda is lionhearts axe not able to one shot the appendages with a damage buff? Under the right setup, you can get a full boosted, physical attack buffed lionhearts on “turn 0” before the boss can make any moves
Is there a good way to get someone's hp to 1? Im struggling to do it, my character always gets killed =(
You can either use a forbidden elixir or just have them get beat up by something before you start this fight. If it's Hikari, just challenge a high level NPC and let them win. If it's a regular enemy, let the enemies kill the person you are trying to get to 1, then run away once they die. Use the cleric revive from the menu, and it will revive them at 1 HP.

Ι have phase 1 down perfectly with Throne as carry and Casti/ochete/patricio supportin her . But at phase 2 nothing works. I can't 1 shot the arms. Not even with Hikaris 4 limb strike and alpiones or Temenos heavely skill+ alpiones. Got best in slot items nothing works :(
Well, you may want to check out the end of my DPS guide. Don't worry about the rest of the guide and just check out the time stamps at the end. On that, I actually use suggested subclasses and talk throught both phases, and it shows a strategy using Hikari on Armsmaster to get through it without RNG. Alternatively, if you're on PC and want to go through the fight while in a voice chat, that's cool too.
Where do you find the peek a boo creature?
You can find it in Southern Timberain Trail just outside of Timberain
The 2nd battle just simply doesn't work. I have Hikari with Armsmaster as a 2ndary which gets his Phys Atk just barely above yours in the reddit post and yet his limb from limb sometimes doesn't even kill the hand. The fact that you're lev 99 is playing a large role in this video because based off the reddit screens, all of your units have about 200 more stats in every area than my level 70 team
The extra levels would not give 200 more stats. In fact, 99 levels would only barely give 200 stats depending on the characters base class. Are you following the build I linked in the description exactly? Are you making sure Hikari is physical attack buffed and is using a max charged attack? If the answer is yes to both of those things, then I would recommend using Lionhearts Axe instead of Limb from Limb. Until your Hikari is strong enough to hit for over 200k with Limb from Limb, Lionhearts Axe will be able to more easily hit for 200k. Additionally, if you happen to have discord, I’d be happy to do a voice chat after work to double check everything and make sure you can get through the fight if you’d prefer that.
The guide works, i have finished with it. But i use nuts to increase the stats with Ikari (hp and strenght)
@@DarrinNewcomer I was mirroring the setup for this correctly, yes. I ended up using your other video instead since that allows Hikari to eliminate the claw and also remove the RNG of if it decides to AoE kill him instead of single target. The gap I might have been missing on this strat is that I hadn't used my crit nuts on Hikari yet, which the other one very much requires. Having the Ogre Staff also is a bug buff. I'd honestly encourage anyone trying this strat to just give Hikari the Armsmaster and make your life vastly easier
@@ArcaneWeapon Well as long as you completed it. The intention was to show that you don't have to be absolutely OP with all the most optimal setups to beat the boss, hence why subclasses were not used here. Unfortunately TH-cam doesn't allow me to give my full description due to the character limit, but that's why I also linked to the reddit post with "additional information written out", which suggests using Lionheart's Axe if your Hikari can't one shot the appendages with Limb from Limb, although it is possible to do that with subclasses and the right setup. That being said, I went ahead and updated the description to specifically include that, as it is a way to remove the RNG of not killing the appendages on the first round. Thanks for letting me know!
Hi I'm level 99 I copied everything every gear and skill and copied every move right down to turn order according to your video, gave Hikari every phys/crit nut, phase 2 of your strat never worked, phase 1 was cakewalk. I ended up making Tenemos/agnea merchant and all 3 dudes spammed hired help assassin over and over while Hikari tanked after he 1hp wiped the limbs. Galdera's swipe and 4 move turn never let Hikari get shujimongiri off once. But your strat helped big time nonetheless I liked and subscribed
My throne at level 80 and best gear does 50 k...is it the level difference to 99 that makes the double dmg difference.?
It wouldn’t. That damage difference would be based on her specific gear. Is she using the stuff I listed in my build post that is linked in the description? Also, are you breaking the boss and debuffing him?

Well there’s a few reasons that could be occurring. Does Throne have the same speed or more as my Throne? Are you making sure to initiate the battle at night? Are you doing it while throne is physical attack buffed, speed buffed, and the enemy is defense downed while broken? One thing that might help is also my recent mini guide on “levels versus gear/skills”. It’s about 7 minutes and I think might apply to this situation.
how you do 99,999 dmages?
So there’s a lot of different factors on doing that, and it also depends on the character/what abilities they are using. I have a pretty thorough guide on how to get your damage values up to that, but in short, you want to use things like the Battle Tested Blade, Giants Club (not used in this video), Alpiones Amulet, Finishers Claws, ect. It’s also important to buff your attack and debuff the enemies defense, and if possible, make sure they are broken. Depending on the abilities base damage that you are using will determine how many of these factors you need in order to hit 99k hits, as you don’t need many of them to hit for 99k with something like Lionhearts Axe, while you’ll need all of them to hit for 99k with something like Limb from Limb

@@Learii in that case, I’d recommend going to the DPS guide video I made and using the time stamps to skip to the final portion of the video where I talk through a few different ways to kill the boss while I fight it. Just scroll to the second phases and I show a few ways to kill phase 2 so he never gets a single attack off
I think Aeber's Reckoning is too broken though. On endgame, it is way too OP, and can cheat either phase 1 or 2.
To balance this harder, I wish Aeber Reckoning is nerfed and that there should be no any same weakness between each soul in phase-1. So players can't use axe to easily break all too. Other than that is to ban the BP up items, then we would actually have a real hardest boss in RPG.
Well, if Aeber's is too powerful, they would have to do something about Lionheart's as well considering it's easier to hit 99k with it, and it hits twice.
@@DarrinNewcomer well lionheart require set up to do AoE right. or tbh, they don't need to fix any of those damage, just make a hard cut on boss HP receive to not allow skip phase. (something like many game does, where each boss phase has different HP bar)
Not many players even know that there is phase 2 and phase 3 exist in each parts now because everyone gain access to broken damage strategy,
First boss has very difficult second phase, where they have different elemental weakness on each part, and they are spell only. Counter passive is also still there.
And from each youtube I have seen. everyone skip that phase, just because of the broken damage they done with Aeber and lionheart. Which make boss become easy.
Third phase also has it where the soul absorbed and combine with the core.. this I also never seen in youtube due to skip.
May be this boss could be so fun if passive for uncap 9,999 weren't allowed! So players can see every phase!

@@PST07 I could, although it would utiliize a different strategy. The thing about a 9999 max hit kill is that BP and super optimal setups becomes less important since even supports can easily hit 9999. Are you just wanting to see how to deal with it? I was thinking of doing a more thorough guide using level 55 characters while allowing the first phase to do all of his various phases/attacks to show how to deal with it. In that, I would still be using deal more damage, but I would purposely not do 300k so that specific attack occurs.
@@DarrinNewcomer yeah wanna see how to do it when the damage is limit to 9,999 and see phase 1 2 3 on the first boss and second boss. It is interesting to see full boss battle rather than skip phase.

Phase 1 has 600k. The main body on phase 2 I think has 250k

@@mgsxmike yep! You don’t necessarily need the frog king; any double axe hitting (all) monster will work. There is a lizard enemy in the sunken maw that does the same thing.

@@mgsxmike Which phase of the fight? Phase 1 will consistently lock his weaknesses when the souls come out until you get him below half health, so they have to be killed first if that's what you're referring to.
