@@pascalgagnon5423 as was mentioned in the description, the only way to get to this boss at level 1 is to manually drop your levels in the save file. Only PC players can do this unfortunately.
It seems Agnea and Hikari were born for that second phase of Galdera. This proves you can beat any boss at any level as long as you have the right set up, items and synergy.
Exactly right! Also, while completely an accident, some people have pointed out that the first phase was OCTO characters, with the second was PATH characters haha
@TEO Doris they have a crossed path together, their personalities compliment each other's well, and "hot moves" is golden, I got it on accident and I'm glad I did.
I did the first phase of the boss with throné(creator? inventor ? Anyway its understandable) agnea(thief) ochette(I've forget her class cause I didn't use it) Cassti(warrior (it's useful to kill the soul who don't died with the other) And now I'm in the second phase with Hikari ( god of the war or something like that) Oswald ( mage (magus?)) Partitio (dancer) Temenos(hunter) AND I DONT KNOW WHY I'VE DID THIS TEAM 🥲 I was thinking that I'll probably could use temenos and partitio as support and do damage with Oswald but I've try once and ....game over .... Now I'm traumatized 🥲 cause I don't want to die and retry again losing like 40 minute of my life and re beat the soul with elemental faiblesse (my head don't work well so I forgot the word)
Is there someone smart who can help me 🥲 I'll probably don't touch my playstation until I've got a strategy Wich make me sure that I'll don't do again the first phase (I'm too lazy for that🦥 but I'm desperate)
Well it was a combination of luck and lots of testing. There were a lot of other challenge videos, failed attempts, and testing gear that went into this. Looking at your other comment, I would say that this isn’t a guide video, so I wouldn’t recommend using it for that. Instead, I made an actual guide video on how to beat him with an average team where everyone was level 55 with no duplicated battle tested equipment. I’d recommend looking at that if you are trying to find a guide for this boss.
@@DarrinNewcomer I've seen the video now but I don't speak English so even if I understand it take me too much energy to follow 😭 but that's guide it's so cool I'm so sad that I don't fully understand 🥲 thank you anyway I'll don't give up even if it'll take time I'll surely defeat this boss
What’s funny is that in the first game, I didn’t use the apothecary until the very end as I never realized how strong they were. Didn’t make that mistake this time around!
Yeah that’s the strategy I really like to do on phase 2 in general. Really glad Hikari went after several people on turn 2 though; that really helped here where I couldn’t one shot them
I'm super impressed with this, especially because I just got done 100%-ing the game a few days ago. Really goes to show how important Jobs, equipment, and proper strategizing is for this boss. Though... I'm curious. Would you ever consider doing a "true-ish" Level 1 run with absolutely no passives equipped? No XP = no JP, which means no passive abilities, which also means no Do More Damage. I'm personally in the camp that such an endeavor would be impossible.
Thanks! If there was some way to make it possible, I probably wouldn’t try it. Part of what makes this work is that you can’t really let the boss hit you, but once he gets the 4 moves at ones, being restricted to 9999 damage means you can’t kill him on the first break, then he comes out of break and hits you 4 times, making hang tough no longer work, which you need since you’d be at like 100-300 health with everyone
I finish this boss today while doing my taxes...it was....something alright....I dont want to admit it but I used this guide in the second phase , it's so nerve wrecking to lose and do it all over again (he killed me 7 times already) they should give you the option to star from the second phase if he kills you. 😢 Thanks again for you efforts.
I've figured that you could do phase one easily, like just don't get hit 5head lol But I was thinking hard about the second phase, like, there's no way you'll have enough damage to kill him before he acts and it's even more unlikely that you'll survive any hit from him, an AoE would just delete you. It was fucking Divine Protection. I don't know why, I thought it was extremely funny to cheese Galdera like that. I seriously forgot about its existence and have wondered about why I never used it lol
@@aliceeeeeeee-r10t All good. I basically never read the descriptions of videos myself. I had regretted later not putting a little slide at the beginning that said to check it for the build
I just discovered the beauty of Dohter + Decaying Dragon Essence on the second adds phase with elemental weaknesses. I was absolutely stuck on that before with neither [ochette + sealticge], nor [aeber's] being enough to clear those adds unbroken. Now, they break, I can comfily do 70k and clear them. Merchant Throné for the win! Just need to solve stage 2 now. Thank you for your guides, by the way. I love people who present stuff like "here's the things you can do" instead of "you're stupid if you don't do this" or "how did you fail at this" etc. The community needs more vocal people like you, who encourage others rather than...you know...summoning Vide again with their negativity.
Thank you for the nice words! I haven’t looked at too many other videos personally, but I know as a gamer that gatekeeping and elitism tends to be rampant with stuff like this. At the end of the day, doing stuff like in this video can be done by anyone given enough time, and just like back in my Destiny days when I used to run tutorial raids, I’d rather help people get better and cut out that “learning curve” phase than act like I’m above everyone who hasn’t already completed the content. Everyone deserves that achievement, and I’ll gladly help anyone get it if they so desire the assistance! Also, that dohters strat does sound like a pretty good way to shred those shields! It then opens up the ability for massive follow up support using other items on the team. Ochette prepared items are OP with Dohters after all!
nice strategy tho, mine was in p1: to abuse throne divine dagger ability to OS the gouls, then when galdera is alone its easy. For the P2, I was using casti full BP stack aoe and the merchant acolyte ability to easily break the 3 entities then break quickly galdera hikari learn skilled that hits 4-8 times with the lance. Then kill it in 3 turns. Abusing the cleric divine makes it so much easier.
OMG YT person cheated to do like 33% of normal damage!!! I bet you can’t do it at level 75 like me 😎😎😎 On a more serious note, well done, mate. Coming across a new channel that did absolutely bonkers challenges in the original was always a highlight of my day, and finding one for OcTwopath this soon after release is even more impressive. Shoutouts to Octopath Reddit people for having enormous brains.
@@pascalgagnon5423 that’s because you aren’t setting up damage properly. With the right gear and buff/debuffs, anyone can replicate this. If you have a level 60 Osvald that’s only doing 5k, you are doing something super wrong, as he can easily be hitting triple 99k by then
@@DarrinNewcomer I have Dancer buff (PS), with Scholar divine that hit triple, and the latent power activated. Now hes getting 9999x3 since I didnt use the warrior passive yet. I just purcharsed the battle staff (I didint know you had to finish Partitio story). I will put More damage on Osvald and I will try to see how much I can do, I also have about 700 EA.
I have a question: How did you get the maximum amount of materials without leveling the characters? You need leaves to purchase them or receive them during combat. did you just steal and find them while traveling? I'm confused!
On PC, players can drop their characters levels in the save file. The characters were originally 99, but the only way to get here with a crew of level ones is to manually drop them back to 1 in the save files. The full details are in the description if you’d like to see that.
@@pascalgagnon5423 no. They have level 1 stats, plus whatever nuts and gear you can acquire over the course of the game. The description has a link to everyone’s gear and stats.
If it helps, I made a consistent lvl 55 guide with no duplicate battle tested gear to help with standard kills; I even show a way to deal with the elemental souls if you happen to get them, but the video shows you how to normally just skip it. I also help people over discord if you’d prefer that.
It's a pity you can only disable encounters and stay at LV1 on PC via modding. Wish they had kept some of that stuff in the game for challenge stuff on console, but it is what it is.
I didn’t know you could disable encounters, but yeah it does suck pretty hard that console players can’t do the same type of challenges. I wish these sorts of things were built in.
You do get a no encounter accessory on consoles. As a reward for beating Galdera..... I fully expected the reward to be pointless, since you pretty much just defeated the hardest challenge in the game at that point. What I wasn't expecting was for it to be something that would have been incredibly useful during the actual story playthrough.
@@mappybc6097 Yeah I was always underwhelmed by that. I'm guessing it's just in case you want to 100% the game without being hassled by mobs, but it would be cooler if you got something else, or if it let you take it into a second playthrough
So you have to deal 300k to the eye before he recovers from being broken to skip it. If you’re stuck on that, I did make a guide video for standard boss kills with level 55 characters you can check out. It shows how to normally skip that phase, but also has a segment on how to deal with the elemental souls
Yes, but only if you are on PC. I wish this stuff was just built into the game so console players could try this too, but unfortunately on PC players can drop their levels via the save file.
I just used save edit online. Are you trying to also adjust your character levels? It was easier for me to find since my characters were 99 originally and no other values had 99 by default. I have no idea what there are so many different things when you search “level”
Normally I do as well; this was purely for this strategy. I needed Agnea for cleric in order to use a second cleric divine, but because I was using finishers claws, I also wanted to use the scope to guarantee the critical hits. Under normal circumstances I would be using it on Agnea since she is way better for it
That second phase part (29:00) where Galdera COULD HAVE one-shot your entire party if not for your shields cast right before that is just satisfying. You should pat yourself on that back, that right there is what you'd call cinematic. I also noticed that you always had your Agnea at the right position. Is it because you set her speed in a specific way or is it purely RNG?
Yeah, at that moment it was light "oh yeah, I could put 4 stacks of invincibility on, but would that be enough....?". As far as Agnea, her turn order didn't really matter. I actually just messed up one time, and I should have used a BP item on Hikari, then used windy refrain on the extra cleric divine turn to guarantee he had enough BP for a fully charged attack. Her speed is higher than Hikari's, but had I not messed that up, her turn order wouldn't have mattered.
@@DarrinNewcomer couldn't you also use hienka or However its spelled in the last turns? Since hikari acted last anyway, or would that remove the aelphric extra turn?
@@TherionX2. if Hikari already had the cleric divine, you don’t want to use Hienka since he is only allowed to have 1 extra turn even if he uses Hienka while having the cleric divine. If he tries to use Hienka during his extra cleric divine move, it also doesn’t give him an additional turn, so it’s better to use a stronger move if he already has the cleric divine
thanks for ur video sir. I have characers on lvl 60-70s and multiple battle tested gears[but i wasted my nuts to multiple characters instead of one] which of your video you think is most suitable for person like me with gears and in lvl 60-70s characters
Well obviously it’s save edited. It’s impossible for the travelers to be level 1 at this point. But knowing how the game works and seeing the damage he is doing. I can fully believe his stats are proper
Lol, I literally post screenshots of all the stats and provide a link in the description. You can even see my super low health and pitiful damage during the fight, which can 100% be replicated on your own using the screenshots/builds I provided from the link in the description. And in case you haven't realized it yet, it isn't possible to get to the boss at level 1 without altering the save file. Even if you theoretically ran from every battle, you would still level up on forced fights.
Thanks for backing me up on this. I figured some may think this way, but honestly this was pretty difficult to pull off, so I would be lying if I didn't say it's slightly annoying to see someone saying that. In the end though, I just need to get thicker skin; people will assume what they want after all.
impressive !! But i don't understand how osvald can unlock "one true magic" when ur lvl 1. Cause of u deafeat last bosses and dont lvl up ? Do u using a mode or something for lower ur lvl ?
The full explanation is in the video description, but the short version is that on PC you can manually drop your levels back down to 1 by the editing the save file.
Unfortunately I don't believe so. There are too many forced fights in the game that would make you level up. Someone will probably make a mod that turns off XP, but that is more or less the same thing.
Yes, but it would require more luck. For me, if I'm going to be fighting the hardest boss with the lowest level characters, then I'm definitely going to be using everything else as my disposal, but one of the biggest killers here for damage is the "relative level effect". Because your level is so low compared to the boss, you just get a flat damage reduction against them.
I see that you use the axe ability from the armmaster to max ur damage, do you know how much dmg it is versus the divine of warrior (brand sword) and the learned ability (limb in limb or smith) that attack 4 times with the sword?
So the axe ability has a higher base damage per hit than Brands or Limb from Limb, with the only downside that it only hits twice instead of 4 times like with Limb from Limb. Until your Hikari can hit for over 50k per hit on Limb from Limb, Lionheart's ends up being better since it can much more easily hit 200k well before Limb from Limb does. Since I was using a level 1 team, the "relative level to enemy" damage modifier was significantly against me, making Lionheart's Axe the best in terms of damage in a single move. On my normal kills where I use my regular levels, I just use Limb from Limb to one shot phase 2, as it can still deal 400k if your Hikari is strong enough.
I didn’t use the provoke glitch in this video, so yes. The ability I used was Ochette’s EX skill that she unlocks from her story that allows her to summon any non-legendary monster up to 6 times depending on how much BP you use. All monsters used in this video were non legendary monsters that work with her EX skill.
@@DarrinNewcomer oh sorry you’re right. Tyvvm. I’m stuck here currently. Level 75 team. I beat Galdera in Octopath 1. On PC you can manually set your character levels back to 1 in the save file. The full details are in the description of the video (it includes how I got my characters to 1 as well as provide a link to their stats/gear)
On PC you can alter the save file to drop your level to 1. That’s why at the end of the fight, everyone jumps to 99 since for some reason doing this makes it only take 1 XP to “regain” and level you previously had
@@adamstewart247 honestly with how many hours and failed attempts this took, it probably would have been faster to level to 82 for the fight. Makes it way easier due to some “background” mechanics on how damage works, not to mention you have way more health.
Nope. That’s a normal feature of the game. Anytime you are at a class guild, talk to the leader who gives the initial license and ask for additional licenses. They will have tasks for you that can unlock up to 3 licenses for each regular class, so you can have up to 3 of the same subclass on characters at the same time. The only thing that was adjusted was the character levels
@@robertogomez2932 I mentioned it in the description in more detail, but basically if you are on PC, you can manually adjust your levels back down to 1 via the save files. You can’t do this normally, and consoles can’t do it at all
@@thesuperiorkitten well a point of this video is to demonstrate that it really isn’t about levels. Your strategy, team synergies, and gear is what determines this fight. There was even another person who did this same thing like a few weeks after I made this without using nuts and an entirely different strategy. I did make an actual guide video for this fight as well if you want to check it out. This video is just proof of success, and not a guide at all.
Well for me, I just used Hikari on Armsmaster. I made sure he was physical attack buffed while the enemy was physical defense debuffed. I broke the boss, made sure Hikari had 3 BP, then used a fully charged lionhearts axe to one shot kill the boss. This will usually work if you’re using stuff that boosts physical damage, like the battle tested blade, giants club, peak performance (support skill), etc
The full details are in the description, but basically you have to be on PC and manually drop your levels down to 1. It's not possible to get to this boss with a level 1 team due to forced fights, so the only way you can do it is by going into the save file and just setting everyone to 1. This file was originally based off my level 99 characters who had nearly 100% the game, so I had access to almost everything, but my base stats (minus nuts) were set back to level 1.
Thanks! So on PC you can adjust certain things in your save file. I just went in and set everyone to level 1. That's why at the end of the fight, they all jump to 99 again since something in the file makes it so any level you had previously had only takes 1 XP to get again. They only needed 99 XP to get back up, so everyone but poor Paritio shot straight back up.
@@gakujin it just comes down to the gear. Even just missing one or two things makes you deal way less damage, but with the right equipment and support skills, you can easily replicate the damage. Hikari is especially cracked since he can do 99k x 5 (I have a 30 second video of that on this channel somewhere)
Like, I managed to best Galdera, but it took a heck of a lot more turns and some luck since I took the dreadwing approach. My Temenos seems to have been geared correctly since he did triple 99,999 with Sacred Effulgence.
@ yeah I know the dreadwing strat is one of the better ones. I never managed to get my Temenos hitting the triple 99’s personally, but that’s a strong setup too
Kinda sad that it takes 80 hours of gameplay before having your first challenge.. Why don't they put a hard mode seriously.. The game offers so much possibility in terms of strategy but It is never necessary to do so. I did the whole game (expect galdera) with a single job and recommanded stuff for 6/8 characters, never carring about the passive abilities etc.. And you still first try every boss and OS all random encounter. Some even took only 2 turns with no setup its sad.. Also the level balancing is so badly done. Like at some point you have your 8 chapter at lv45 and a few dungeon. By the time you reaches the last one you are lv60 on your main.. I wish we could struggle against every boss like you do against galdera (maybe a little less ^^)
It took a ton of testing and using strats from the Reddit community. If it helps, I made an actual guide video on how to consistently kill him with a regular team at level 55 with no duplicated battle tested gear. It has all the equipment used for that build, the characters it goes on, and the actual fight where I talk through the fight and how to manage your characters. It also has time stamps for everything so you can skip around to just check out what you need.
Do you mean just in a general sense? I’m going to assume you mean that since the video has the ones I use for this fight. My personal favorites are basically any “double hit everyone” monster (there’s a bunch for all weapon types). Another is the Peak a Boo from southern Timberain trail, which does a staff attack to everyone with a high chance to elemental and physical defense down all enemies. I normally use her EX skill just to break enemies and rarely use the legendary ones, but if I do use the legendary ones, it’s usually the dreadwolf or light elemental.
@@h.g.buddne7327 if that’s the case, you’ll probably want to look at the level 55 guide video I made. In the guide video, I actually talk through everything, show where all of the items are for the build, and show a much more standard setup for a regular kill
@@DarrinNewcomer I killed it yesterday and got the platinum trophy with it. In his second phase Throne saved my ass. With revitalizing jam and Aebers Reckoning she made 80% of all damage. Phew that's it. I really loved the game and been looking forward for part 3 🙂
That really depends on how you define "standard gear". Are we saying makeshift weapons? Or are we saying only 1 of each battle tested? Or are we putting a stat cap on the weapon in question? With makeshift weapons, this would be way more difficult, but with mid tier and above gear at level 99 it would likely be fine. Just have to make a slight adjustment to Hikari on phase 2, but not much else would change in that case.
@@noobdude5933 To me, endgame "standard" means 1 piece of each of the battle tested weapons since they can be bought and it would be odd to not get them if you're trying to maximize your team. Makeshift only would be pretty awful though, that's for sure.

I’d recommend looking at that if you are trying to find a guide for this boss.

once again proving the apothecary to be giga OP against bosses
What’s funny is that in the first game, I didn’t use the apothecary until the very end as I never realized how strong they were. Didn’t make that mistake this time around!
24:29 that’s some great lining up there.
Yeah that’s the strategy I really like to do on phase 2 in general. Really glad Hikari went after several people on turn 2 though; that really helped here where I couldn’t one shot them
@@DarrinNewcomer oh, yeah that’s great. I was talking about what he said though. His line sincing perfectly with his next.
@@Anonymous_Individual oh gotcha haha.
Congrats! I'm glad I was able to help somewhat.
Wait... If you think you lose a lot of progress when dying to this, then what's your opinion on OG galdera from octopath 1? Cause yeah...
I've figured that you could do phase one easily, like just don't get hit 5head lol
But I was thinking hard about the second phase, like, there's no way you'll have enough damage to kill him before he acts and it's even more unlikely that you'll survive any hit from him, an AoE would just delete you.
It was fucking Divine Protection.
I don't know why, I thought it was extremely funny to cheese Galdera like that. I seriously forgot about its existence and have wondered about why I never used it lol
I think it's because for basically everything else, divine protection is never needed. I've only ever used it in this one circumstance personally
May I ask how did you build Hikari?
There is a link in the description of the video that goes to a Reddit post I made with screenshots of everyone’s equipment and skills

Thanks! It took a bit to get it to work out haha
Where can i learn divine protection, i need to know
You can learn it from the cleric in the Canalbrine church
nice strategy tho, mine was in p1: to abuse throne divine dagger ability to OS the gouls, then when galdera is alone its easy.
Yeah, the cleric divine is my favorite. Get so many extra moves
Now we have SL1 run in Octopath, what a great era to live on 😂
OMG YT person cheated to do like 33% of normal damage!!! I bet you can’t do it at level 75 like me 😎😎😎
On a more serious note, well done, mate. Coming across a new channel that did absolutely bonkers challenges in the original was always a highlight of my day, and finding one for OcTwopath this soon after release is even more impressive. I was like How does level 1 Oswald do 60k with OTM, while my level 60 do barely 5k.... yeah sure
@Darrin Newcomer oh, that makes sense.

@@mappybc6097 Yeah it seems kinda redundant for them to give you that after you've probably done everything in the game.
How do you skip the weakness change of the souls on phase 1? I keep getting stuck on that no matter how much damage I do.
So you have to deal 300k to the eye before he recovers from being broken to skip it. If you’re stuck on that, I did make a guide video for standard boss kills with level 55 characters you can check out. It shows how to normally skip that phase, but also has a segment on how to deal with the elemental souls
how do you arrive at that boss with all characters lvl 1? Is there any way to decrease your level in the game?
Yes, but only if you are on PC. I wish this stuff was just built into the game so console players could try this too, but unfortunately on PC players can drop their levels via the save file.
AEBER, PRINCE OF THIEVES
Indeed
your level 1 hikari does more damage than my level 73 hikari LOL
Yeah that glass cannon build is super powered
What save editor did you use? I tried using Save Edit Online but none of the information on it makes sense
I just used save edit online. Are you trying to also adjust your character levels? It was easier for me to find since my characters were 99 originally and no other values had 99 by default. I have no idea what there are so many different things when you search “level”
Inventor temenos? That's curious tho tbf I basically only run agnea as inventor cause the coil move is kinda silly
Normally I do as well; this was purely for this strategy. I needed Agnea for cleric in order to use a second cleric divine, but because I was using finishers claws, I also wanted to use the scope to guarantee the critical hits. Under normal circumstances I would be using it on Agnea since she is way better for it
Why do you have all that buff at the start? what passive is that from?
Throne's talent which gives you buffs at night. Likewise, temenos' talent gives enemies debuff at night with the boss' second phase
Khanh already got you on it, but yeah it's from Throne and Temenos during nighttime battles
@@DarrinNewcomer so, salt in the wound (hunter sub ability) aside, only throne can have 2+ turns right?

He’s not legit, uses save editor and doesn’t show stats
Well obviously it’s save edited. It’s impossible for the travelers to be level 1 at this point. But knowing how the game works and seeing the damage he is doing. I can fully believe his stats are proper
Skills and equipment is where the money is made
Lol, I literally post screenshots of all the stats and provide a link in the description.
@@DarrinNewcomer oh mb, ty !
How did hikari get an additional turn at the end of the first round
That’s because I used his latent skill Hienka which attacks twice, then allows him to go again at the end of the turn.
Thanks this helped me alot 🎉
RIP Partitio
Indeed haha
i guess there is no way to do a level 1 run without altering the files ?
Unfortunately I don't believe so. There are too many forced fights in the game that would make you level up. Someone will probably make a mod that turns off XP, but that is more or less the same thing.
Wow amazing.
Thanks! I died a lot haha
Is it possible to do this without using nuts?
Yes, but it would require more luck. For me, if I'm going to be fighting the hardest boss with the lowest level characters, then I'm definitely going to be using everything else as my disposal, but one of the biggest killers here for damage is the "relative level effect". Because your level is so low compared to the boss, you just get a flat damage reduction against them.
My first 99999 dmg was from Aeber's and from then on i just kill stuff with it. +the throne cheese with the jams.
Yeah, Throne is super OP with the jam strat
You’re a god
Thanks!
Is this possible without the provoke beasts glitch from Ochette? And how do you do it? Tyvm
That feature is only for Steam PC version.
How you down your lv to 1?
On PC you can alter the save file to drop your level to 1. That’s why at the end of the fight, everyone jumps to 99 since for some reason doing this makes it only take 1 XP to “regain” and level you previously had
So I guess I leveled up to level 82 for nothing
@@adamstewart247 honestly with how many hours and failed attempts this took, it probably would have been faster to level to 82 for the fight. Makes it way easier due to some “background” mechanics on how damage works, not to mention you have way more health.
You have 2 clerics - also PC modding?
How is it even possible to get there without gaining a single lvl?

Hey can u give me team ideas to get congjure if i typed wrong im sorry im not english
So how did you get all the skills and monsters but remain level 1?
The full details are in the description, but basically you have to be on PC and manually drop your levels down to 1. It's not possible to get to this boss with a level 1 team due to forced fights, so the only way you can do it is by going into the save file and just setting everyone to 1. This file was originally based off my level 99 characters who had nearly 100% the game, so I had access to almost everything, but my base stats (minus nuts) were set back to level 1.
How did you get those skills if you didnt fight anything?
Check out the description of the video. It’ll explain how it’s done. Can only be done on PC as far as I know
First, this in insane! Amazing job, second how did you make them lvl 1?
Probably PC save editing
Yep
Love how I can’t do this much damage at level 80.

@@lutherloser5122 yep, that was pretty much the point of the video

Do you mean just in a general sense? I’m going to assume you mean that since the video has the ones I use for this fight. Another is the Peak a Boo from southern Timberain trail, which does a staff attack to everyone with a high chance to elemental and physical defense down all enemies. Now try beating it at level 99 with all standard gear.
@@DarrinNewcomer Probably meant makeshift or starter weapons. Nothing else really defines standard
@@noobdude5933 To me, endgame "standard" means 1 piece of each of the battle tested weapons since they can be bought and it would be odd to not get them if you're trying to maximize your team. Not sure how to remove those stats, and I'm definitely not replaying the entire game for that, although even if I could, that wouldn't be nearly as impactful as the gear being used. Thanks for the comment anyway.
GTFO of here. That was legendary.
Thanks!
Bro what 😂
Something like that
no way in hell hikari has that much hp at lvl 1 mine barely has about that and hes like 96 lol
He does with Alpiones Amulet (gives 1200 HP) and basically 90% of the HP nuts in the game invested into him. Guessing you didn’t read the description
how about a proper challenge rather than a fabricated false lv1 challenge - try using lv1 chars with ONLY the items and equips that they could have got - sell all your inventory before the test
good, but not really lv1 chars as they have all the equips and items that lv1 chars could NEVER get - oh and a boat :p
Im pretty sure hikari is not supposed to have 5230 hp at lvl 1
As was mentioned in the video description, he had a lot of HP nuts used on him, not to mention Alpiones Amulet gives a lot of HP. In order for this to work, you have to manually set your levels back to 1 since it isn’t possible to get to this boss at level 1 normally. What you see are level 1 stats + any nuts I used over the course of the game
@@DarrinNewcomer ok sure but why are all the HP nuts given to Hikari he doesn't need any
@@stevebolduc9903 As literally quoted from my description, "I seriously gave Hikari WAY too much HP haha". This video was made back when many people weren't even finished with the game. No "metas" were created and this was my first playthrough. I underestimated just how much HP he would get over the course of the game, so he accidentally ended up overcapped on health, and when level 99 physical attack as well. At the end of the day, nobody needs any HP nuts, or really any nuts for that matter. They are put into the game so players can customize the characters they want. I also wasn't going to wait until I was level 99 to see exactly what stats/nuts could be used without overcapping.
@@DarrinNewcomer I won't wait until they are level 99 too I'll just put on some nuts on the characters that I feel like it fits
@@stevebolduc9903 sounds great
Hate the pointless grind in this game finished all the other quests not even close to 70.
I don't really get this comment, but ok.
@@DarrinNewcomer 99% completed side quests, 99% completed traveller (need to kill boss for platinum but all party members are at 70).
@@thecookies6109 you can kill the boss pretty consistently at level 50-55. This boss isn’t about being super high level; in fact, if the boss fight isn’t working out at level 70, getting to level 99 won’t make much of a difference (I’ve literally had a full level 99 team get 100-0’ed in a single turn from this boss). This boss is mostly about strategy and team synergies, which is demonstrated by this video of the boss being beaten by level 1 characters. If you’d like to see a guide that gives builds and talks through the fight to let you know what you should be doing to get consistent kills for the plat, I’d recommend checking out my level 55 guide video, as this particular video is just a challenge video with no commentary.
@@DarrinNewcomer Phase 2 is what kills me , Phase 1 I use hikari wth armaster (axe and targeted strike , casti as bp battery / clerc , Osvald as cleric for giving ochette and hikari more turns, Occhete as warrior for brand but mainly breaking the souls with dread eagle and frog. - Phase 2 my I want to use temptos to nuke them but my thone, /cleric , agena inventor for critcal scope , partio as battery , and temptos for nuking doesn''t work. Stage 2 second soul spawn before getting to the number soul spawn also hurts me on some runs.
@@DarrinNewcomer On a side note i have every characte and maxed every job.
Octopath 2 is easier than octopath 1
Thank you for the comment
you are level 1, with all job skill and no who knows what gear sure man more modding
It's funny when people say this without bothering to look in the description at all haha. I literally say in the description that you have to go into the save files to manually change your levels to 1, as it is impossible to get to Galdera at level 1 otherwise, since you would level on forced fights. I also provide a link to my reddit post where I post screenshots of all my gear and stats, which you can easily confirm in the game would have those same damage values if you REALLY wanted to see if I was cheating. Even if you didn't look at any of that stuff, there's also the fact that my character (other than Hikari who has like 80% of my nuts invested into him) have absolutely pathetic HP and deal a pathetic amount of damage.
@@DarrinNewcomer i read It, so u edit your files and Who knows what more not legit
@@Shadows4fun I see; so you are just assuming I did and stating it as a fact? Well, nothing I can do to convince someone like that. I know some are going to be angry for no reason and convince themselves that it's not "legit" despite the stats/gear being posted, allowing literally anyone to test it for themselves to verify it. Thank you for taking the time to leave comments on the video though! Helps with getting it to show up in the searches after all.
@@DarrinNewcomer i watch your video, and when i go for Galdera 1time at 36 i go all hp to 100 in 1 one hit so 2 hits u die.
Not angre just the truth not legit its like putting mod and addons in a game u change it
