We appreciated the authenticity & enthusiasm of your reporter. THANKS
Are you kiding ? she overreacting 100%
@@gui8253nah man i understand completely why this event makes some people cry. Opens your eyes to the bigger picture. For a brief moment all the struggles of being human dont matter anymore and we see what really matters
No, she's not. @@gui8253
This was the most authentic, emotional report I have ever watched! I’m still in tears. Ms. Johnson deserves 5 stars and a sun and moon too!
Tremendous reporting
This energy is so precious, I hope we can be kinder
🌎🕊🤲🏼
Doubt it they likely didn’t even notice
This is the BEST report of this eclipse!! You sent the right person to do this!! 💝
A reminder of how small we humans actually are. We take so much for granted too. Our beautiful planet. The Moon is vital for us to exist, and of course so is our Sun. A awe inspiring moment. Amazing the Moon is just the right distance and size for this to even happen.
I live in Niagara Falls and this is exactly what it felt like! Pure magic! I love how emotional the reporter is. It was truly amazing.
So cute...to hear the overwhelming awe in their voices...so epic.
Ever thought maybe some of those frogs and birds are also feeling the energy?
birds and frogs at Niagra Falls?@AellaMaud
Our early ancestors must have been scared out of their minds
Nah. /
You never heard the story of how Columbus tricked the Indians because he told them he had the power to turn day into night?
Theres a reason so many religions and myths viewed eclipses as evil omens
lots of people today were too. lol I know I worked with them
That's because there were no shadows to be afraid of.
This reporter is fantastic. She did a great job describing things and being so optimistic even when it seemed to be hopeless. I was there for this and she said it best! Teasing. It was AMAZING and it was almost better this way because when we did get to see totality it was even more exciting! I can't even believe it. It was incredible.
This woman needs to cover every eclipse news report from now on.
The be honest, this felt so genuine and the type of innocence usually found only in children. Being emotional purely because of the beauty of nature, really is beautiful in instelf.
Had the privilege to see it and experience it. A once in a lifetime unforgettable memory and event, that I'll remember always. Truly amazing. 🌑🙏
This was the best reporter for the eclipse by far. So authentic and heartfelt.
I was down the road by Port Colborne , Ontario . The crowds broke prior to totality . We saw it clear as a bell . There are no words
I'm emotional 😢
This was the ultimate experience of my thirty-eight years on this planet. There is some kind of magic in this universe that is beyond my and all our understanding. I feel beyond blessed to have experienced this!
Well said. I feel the same. What a blessing.
36 and same. I'm frustrated at not having the right language to explain to people actually how magical this moment was. The only way I can try and get close is by saying that I thought the emotions were exaggerations before I saw it. Nope. It's actually something beyond comprehension.
"We can't describe what we're feeling now." is right. This solar eclipse were special for U.S. We can feel new energy belt.
The PERFECT reporter for this story!
im in upstate ny and we've literally been in a sstate of emergency since yesterday due to the amount of people who were gonna be in our area......and then it was cloudy. we didnt see anything but the darkness was unreal and definitely a once in a lifetime experience
Had the privilege to see this once in a lifetime event here, What an unforgettable time 🌑🙏
I was there in Niagara on Canadian side and this reporter's describes my emotions during totality completely!
Damn I got emotional just watching this. So awesome!
I'm still crying 😢
Bless the reporters heart! ❤
I cried too and I also don't know why. It was like being hit with a tsunami of a profound emotion that I've never felt before. I didn't expect to cry; it was so amazing. Saw it in Montreal.
Same! 100% did not expect to cry! The emotion just swept over me without any understanding of why. In the moment of totality all I could do was feel. I didn't start processing till after totality and thats when the tears started streaming
I was lucky enough to watch it near Syracuse, NY. It was a mesmerizing experience.
Loved the coverage! Mother Nature at its mightiest
They almost didn't see it because of cloud cover... Thousands of dollars per person could've been for nothing, but a miracle happened that parted the clouds! Many can thank God for that.
What a beautiful place to watch the eclipse. ❤ to you all
I listened to a couple of different Native American videos that came up in my feed recently about eclipses. They were from totally different tribes, but both tribes said that you don't want to go outside during an eclipse, eat, or drink. Kind of like full moons when people tend to get more wild and energetic, the eclipse does the reverse...it can sap or suck energy out of a person, which is why they advised people not go out and expose themselves directly to it. They also said that eclipses represent changes in cycles here on earth in the area where they occur...much like the seasons changing.
yeah some people were freaked out to even go outside at work. I just keep thinking about how beautiful the ring looked. wow.
Nonsense
I was along the Niagara River, very close by and it was amazing!!!
Please give God all the glory. He did it. He loves us. ❤️✨
And He keeps proving it with earthquakes, droughts, tornadoes, tsunamis, Covid, etc.
This young lady reporter for CBS was excellent! 🌔
Whatever you think she felt, times that by ten. It really was that awesome.
Total eclipse was very impressive in Buffalo!
You got the right reporter for the job! Good for you! So happy for her and other people who've had this exeprience and stopped their lives for a few minutes for that, to just see and feel the granduer of Nature, and that we are but tiny and temporary part of it.
TURN THE CAMERA LIGHTS OFF !!
Thank you so much for sending someone who would truly adore this moment! ❤
lol the reporter was doing her job but also was like:
This is my family now and we are doing it together ❤❤❤❤❤ stop with this I need to stop cryinggggg
To GOD be the glory!!!
Amen!!!!
Hamilton, Ontario has a perfect view from 2pm -4pm, no clouds at all..
This is my favorite eclipse response. Very special experience. The light really diminished during totality with all of the clouds making Niagra Falls a really unique total solar eclipse.
The most beautiful sight that I’ve ever seen. I teared up I went to Vermont to avoid the clouds
it was so cool .. what a magical moment that was. thanks for the amazing coverage Kristine
It honestly makes you realize just how big the universe is, we are but ants when you think about it. Such an awesome thing to see.
I love it. Absolutely
I saw one when I was a kid in the 90’s. It was cool.
something happened to my cousin Chip during the eclipse. We still can't find Chip wtf..
Fast farward to 4:00 and it will make you cry, the little girls reaction is so priceless as well! 😭🥰🌚
Chicago had 0 clouds today and had 94% coverage. Would have been great if we were in the path of totality. 😅
The girls reaction wins the internet. 😁
I teared up too 🩷 love this woman 💕💜
Wow this was one of the best things I have ever seen in my life it just goes to show that we live in a wonderful universe made by a wonderful God 🙏❤️
سبحان آلله وبحمده سبحان آلله وبحمده
I'm so glad they got a break in the clouds just long enough to give them a look at totality. It's still a cool environment but I would've been greatly disappointed if I didn't get to see the eclipse in totality for at least a second.
Kristine Johnson should cover every news story going forward. CBS NY can make it happen.
You know why… because it all feels more meaningful… when you know someone cares for you… that youre not in control… and its ok…
God bless them. 🩶
You can tell the little girl goes to Disney World often. Nobody says,"This is magical!".
It certainly was magical. I didn't care about the eclipse one bit until I witnessed it. Wow! Too bad you didn't get the experience .
@@Williamt.Sherman OK Peter Pan.
And that family she was interviewing couldn't get away from her fast enough!
Where are their eclipse glasses lol
Montreal was 100% clear sky and complete totality.
it was magical feeling
They didn’t use any protection. As someone that had a retinal detachment I hope their retinas didn’t burn 🔥
I was down by the boats and the most I got to see was a split second of a clouded-over piece of the sun that could maybe be called the diamond, but nothing of the corona. I can't believe mere acres away some people got to see a second of the corona.
Was lucky where I was, no cloud cover and we had 100% coverage. Was one of the coolest things I've seen.
over here in Southaven Mississippi, it looked good out there earlier. they took my entire school out to see the eclipse and it looked very cool❤
God is good!
It blows my mind what our universe is capable of… like we take it for granit…
Very cool 😎
Hermoso
I was there, but decided to drive 3 hours west to clear skies at 11am and i saw the whole thing, instead of a few seconds :).
Good, stargazers are having this unique experience
😮😮 epic .... This is amazing
TOTALITY ROCKS!!!
"Totality" "Awesomeness"...shoot me
it’s MAGICAL!! 😩😩
Humans are just so damn dramatic!!!!!! 😒😒😒😒
Right. 🤣 I thought I was the only one. I’m like I was not born with whatever is making these people act like this.
@@kimking5928 Lmao!! I'm so glad I'm not like them, it's just too annoying for me. 🤣
@@TheVampireRoveI literally had to turn down the volume. That reporter is a lot to listen to. 😂 The eclipse is the only reason I tuned in anyway.
It’s ridiculous.
some people can't control their emotions and some people dont have any emotions. I can feel for her, but I didn't cry or shed a tear over it. It was a very magical experience that i'll always remember for the rest of my life. I understand why now people traveled from all over the country to TX and other parts of the country to experience it. To you it means nothing but to some it's eveything. Remember, we are all different.
Oh my lord I wish I had the emotions
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. Genesis 1:14-16
Amen!!!!!!!
Thank science which let's us know when an solar eclipse will happen.
The moon is not a light
some people need religion to get through life.
see you guys 2045 for the next one!!
Would have laughed at a video like this if I hadn’t seen it myself today.
❤ to God be The POWER, The KINGDOM and The GLORY ❤❤❤❤❤❤ FEELING SO BLESSED TO BE ALIVE. THANK YOU GOD ❤❤❤
The same God who sends tidal waves and earthquakes. Don't forget to be thankful for those too
@@GordyThomas it’s not a “person” or entity that commands such things to be, rather the totality of life itself , the GOD energy that just IS, and with in IT, all else exist✨… peace and light ! Thank you for your comment !
who hurt her? That was manic what that reporter did.
Glad I went to Hamilton instead of Niagara. No clouds in front of the eclipse
These are the people who clap after movies.
Totally 🙂 I love when people enjoy things!
"we're in totality right now, let me blind you with my camera lights"
Wow- look at everyone staring at the corona without glasses.
Can i see it in Vancouver ?
nooo it was visible in toronto
Show over. Let's go back to hating each other again
just the way some like it.
these people are nuts... it wasn't even that dark where I was.... and it was only for maybe 2 mins... barely anything.
Aww 😢. Was it cloudy where you’re from when it happened? Boo hoo
@@evansbezil7450unless you're there... it was a pretty blah experiance.... 2 mins is nothing.
❤
That was a display of over emotion to the point i wanted to vomit
Same.
why because she was real and authentic about it? showing true emotions over something so magical makes you sick? says more about you then her. :)
@@ajvintage9579 you too. :)
You must have not been in the 100 percent zone.i was and it was unforgettable and awesome. Better luck next time dude.
No you jackals!!! I actually was at 100% totality at 4min 7seconds with clear skies! Made the one in 2017 also with good viewing conditions. It was a mind blowing experience both times and one thing that made the event so much more enjoyable were all the people near us that were cheering and some crying. This womans particular response was just way over the top and annoying to me. Deal with it!!!! If my comments make you butthurt, you can come get some!!!
I once witnessed a solar eclipse at night.
I love this type of news reporting
Feels good
Gives me hope
Not like your average blm antics news reports
A little insight
Muslims don’t sit and watch. We pray because it is emotional and there’s a story behind this in Islam very captivating and emotional one.
is moon have atmosphere?
why the sun become red when almost completely covered by the moon?
because the sun is more than just light. it's gases too flaring out from all directions.
The Universe just said hello 👋
"Lord Miquella, forgive me. The sun has not been swallowed. Our prayers were lacking. Your comrade remains soulless. I will never set my eyes upon it now, your divine Haligtree"
😂😂😂 MY GOD so much drama. The sun and moon has been here BEFORE GOD created man on earth, people see them literally everyday...and it takes an eclipse to act like they appreciate that fact. SMH
angry over people being happy....
It was an awesome emotional experience that apparently you missed out on. I didn't care about the eclipse one bit until I witnessed it. I was lucky to be in the 100 percent zone. You don't have a clue man.
It's not anger it's total amusement at all the extreme drama ....cringe 🤡🤡🤡 poor old sun and moon up there everyday and no one cares until the news hypes up an eclipse. 🤣🤣🤣
Lord of the Ring bringing people together, God is trying to tell us something America.🦅
stop overreacting
