Hi Cory! I've been using Earth Breeze sheets for about a year now. I really love them, and I think my clothes come out clean too!
I am so happy to hear that! I definitely enjoyed using them already!
I’ve been using these detergent sheets for a while. They are great!
Please, could anyone who uses earthbreeze tell me how effective they are in a front loading washer using cold water only. Have been curious about these for a long time now. Thanks in advance to anyone who shares their experience. :)
I only wash in cold standard washer works great for me.
For me, cottage style has softer lines, floral prints, feminine accessories, antiques with curved details, touches of gold, etc. Farmhouse is more rustic, lots of black and white, straighter lines in furniture, plaid fabrics, etc. the chicken bread board is farmhouse.
I think you made really good points about their differences! Very true
I totally agree. And I would like to know where the people who say ‘farmhouse is on its way out’ get their information. I still love farmhouse and sell quite a bit in my booth.
Great job! I love your style.
For me Farmhouse is rustic, Cottage is more cozy with fabrics and greeneries. Love the videos, you always make us feel anyone can be successful at their DIY.
Thank you Darlene I think that's a good point
You are so special...i appreciate your hard work....and as a side note...I'd put a vase in the center of the mug rack and fill with tall florals, like iris or tall greens
That's a cool idea! Thanks
First off, I love your channel! I just recently discovered you, and I absolutely love watching your flip videos.
I know I am late to the game, and I’m certain the item has already sold, however, in just looking at the two boxwood plants in the little planters where you added the faux lavender in the wire basket. Something to consider in the future if you find a decor piece like that is to sell the topiaries separately, you could paint the pots, and then use the basket for something else! You get multiple decor pieces out of one!
Thanks for the inspiration. I'm not really into farm house. I guess I'm eclectic. You have great ideas that can be customized to individual styles. Beautiful creations.
Thank you! Yes, of course you can change it up for any style
Love the cutting board - beautiful wood!
And love the green chairs at your dining room table! ❤
Thank you!!!
The chicken sign was definitely farm house.
Thank you for sharing your finds and your DIY. You make it look easy! I definitely got some inspiration from your artistry and staging.
Cory, you are the neatest painter I’ve ever seen! These are all cute flips.
I wasn't always! Haha thank you
I love watching all your flips and you’re also so dang adorable. For me it’s mid century modern all day. I love finished wood over painted. And can I just say that wood mortar nest! Soo cute!
Thank you so much! I think wood is beautiful too. I like it either way
I love that basket. It came out so pretty with the greenery and the color of the basket just perfection🎉🥰
Thank you Lorraine!
Everything turned out so pretty! I think you'll do well in your booth for sure😊 Thanks for sharing, lots of inspiration and tips!
Thank you so much Tammy! I hope so
Love your work and your spirit!
Thank you Freida!
I’m definitely a combo of traditional with some transitional thrown in. I can appreciate rustic farmhouse, or the cottage core that seems to be a trend right now, but not in my house. I don’t really follow trends…I like to use pieces that can stand the test of time, and add or change out fabrics to freshen things up, or for holidays. So happy you are opening an online store….you will do great!
Julie I feel the same way! I decorate pretty traditional/transitional in my house. I think it's more practical.
I love the first cutting board!
Thanks Terri! It turned out so nice
The pedestal bowl turned out lovely.
I love it all! Your choice of French cottage with the green paint is beautiful! You do very tasteful decor that anyone would enjoy putting in their home!
Thank you SO much Cherie!
Looks good. I had my doubts with the green board but now I think it’s lovely. I’m using green in my accent for my dining room.
I like to use the farm style decor My house is 1925 kind of cottage farm originally.
That's going to be lovely! Old houses are so great
Vignette is so pretty🎀❤ Love the dark green and silver together. And I love the stuffed animals. A bench would look so good with your farmhouse/cottage table. Love it all💕
The cutting board is gorgeous.
Sorry but I drooled...lol...a little when you started on that big cutting board. I LOVE transforming them and did one similar for my sis...looked brand new afterwards and is now her favorite board. And I use the same oil on all my boards. Beautiful work you do :) From Wanda in Florida :)
Thank you Wanda! Awesome of you to do!
Your prices are very reasonable! You do such amazing work.
Just getting started with this video!! And have comments already. Big cutting board gives me the vibe of Art Deco. ❤ To me farmhouse & cottage are different. Farmhouse is animals and cottage is flowers & gardens. I think cottage looks more bright colors on structures-homes- with the small front yard being for flowers and veggies
I think those are great descriptions of those different styles. Great explanations
Great tutorials you nailed it with the mixture of color's to create lavender I do that a lot and it's fun and endless as for the styles farmhouse to me is rustic and worn , cottage core /French country is more dainty florals in pastels I love farmhouse the whites with natural wood tones that cutting board came to life love it 😊
That's a great way to describe it. Thank you
I think it's very easy to incorporate Farm House and Cottage. Similarities. Thant basket in Lavender turned out better than I was expecting. Lovely job. Thank you for sharing. 😊🙏
Your channel and Jami Ray Vintage are my favorite 2 channels.
Thank you so much!
Simply lovely. And I also love the music...thank you.
Glad you like it!
Girl! Shabby Chic! With a touch of Farmhouse! ❤❤❤
Farm fresh cutting board would be Farmhouse to me. I especially love the big heavy cutting board you used butcher block oil on! Your prices seen low to me, but popular I’m sure!
Thank you so much Lorraine
I think you can clean up that green cutting board if you are not happy with it - by putting clear wax on it. It will brighten it up.
Oh, my goodness! I got an Easter basket for my daughter for free at a yard sale and it’s exactly the same (only solidly lilac)! I’ve never seen anybody else have that! And you created it! I love your style!
How cool! Thank you!
I have to admit that I really love the shabby chic style and I have to say that I have become masterful in the shabby part. The cheek is still a little iffy if you get what I mean. Thanks for sharing😅😅😅
Holy cow, the Home Depot cutting board!!! Just gorgeous!
Right?
Love the basket and absolutely love the wheel barrel!!! I can’t believe it didn’t sell without paint but it looks fabulous painted too!!!
Right!? I hope it sells now
I see farmhouse as neutral, neutral, neutral, which is fine if you like neutrals! I find neutrals somewhat boring, but love cottage as it has lots of color, flowers, nature, woodland animals and leans toward quiet spaces. Thanks for the beautiful DIYs. ☀
Love your channel. I personally love French country and Cottage Decor!
Thank you Carlene!
I love purple in any shade.
You sure know how to take a lemon n turn it into lemonade ❤ So enjoy ur videos !!
I love that! Thank you
To me there is Rustic, Farmhouse, French Country, Shabby Chic. All being distinctive.
I think the cutting board with the stencil is more farm house. To me, Cottagecore is a little bit more dainty and Farm House is more big and bulky. Cottage Core reminds me of little flowers, little plants and things.
That's a good point
I dont think i have a style category. I like to mix styles. What catches my eye is what i bring home. It is usually very cohesive, though, as i gravitate towards certain colors.
I think that's really cool!
great pieces you did
Hello. I'm a new viewer from Wisconsin. Love your work.
Hi Joan in Wis. SO glad you are here. Welcome!
The lavender basket is beautiful 👏👏👏
Thank you Mary
You are very creative. Nice work
Thank you so much 😊
There is a company called magnolia that has really great screen print stencils. Great flips
I'll have to check that out
All very very nice. Your prices are the best! I need to bring mine down a bit, but right now I am doing candlesticks and it's day 2 of working on them, I just can't stop myself from going maximalist on everything. I could have just gone white and gold, but nope I have them turquoise and I am boho ING them up!! I have had a etsy store for over 10 years, but have not try flipped haul items, had been thinking about it. My home is crazy eclectic, I collect dragons, lol. Great job cory!
My dad collected dragons for a while! He still has them all. I think you should definitely try selling your creations one etsy!
Rubbing alcohol works great for sticker residue
I love to see your creativity.
Thank you!
The basket was beautiful when natural ( natural not painted ).
The pale green flowers with the lavender basket is just perfect. I was thinking a pale green ribbon but the flowers are better. I really liked all of your creations today. Would switching out some of the things in your booth with what you did today spark some sales?
I am hoping so! Thank you Lisa!
Where is your booth located? Have you considered having a booth at the Round Top Antique and Design Show? They have a Spring and Fall Show. Lots of traffic and visibility!
It is located at 1153 kingwood drive
I would love to but I have 4 kids and wouldn't have the time to do a traveling show like that.
@@DesertDIY that’s only about 1 1/2 hrs south of us! Yes I can understand the logistics of having small children and traveling. Love seeing your transformations!
My decor style is probably mid century eclectic. Very different from yours, but I still love watching your videos. Love the birds nest! I don't have much Easter decor besides a collection of hares and chickens my sons made when they were little. They're all a bit scary😂. Hopefully your booth will start sell soon!
I think hand made decor is way cooler than store bought. Especially if it is from your kids! Thank you Emma
I LOVE that cutting board (first one) but I can not even imagine what it would cost to ship 😢😢 TFS all your wonderful knowledge! I am gonna send that pic to you asap! I keep thinking about it when I am not right there. lol 😂
Thank you Judi. I am still trying to price it out. I think it will end up costing around $12 just for shipping but I am not 100% sure yet
Farmhouse is black and white with wood accents and very little colour. Cottage is more colour and wood with focus on accents of floral and greenery.
Very good explanation
Love all of the DIY'S ❤😊
Thank you Alba
To me, Farmhouse and cottage are very similar, but cottage is a sweeter, cozier look and feel.
True!
Awesome
I really like your kitchen backsplash; I'm about to do something similar in my kitchen!
Really? Thank you! I am not sure if I like the diamond patterned stripe along the bottom. I wish it was all one same tile
I kind of think you need that patterned transition between the granite and the tile, and I really like how the diamond pattern picks up all the colors. I like that very much!
I am not into farmhouse but I love cottage with all the pastels and soft fabrics. I dont want the chickens, cows, and pigs in my house. They are fine for other peoples houses, just not mine. I really dont think they are alike. Cottage is my thing. Good video.
That is a good point
Yes Cottage is very close. But 2 me "Farmhouse" style ihas more rustic elements.....i LOVE French chic0r COUNTRY w an"Old Hollywood flair..haha!.....i have a vintage 1930's house in WEST TEXAS ...so not only have i loved white & creme linens &; feminine items like old cosmetics containers & filigree p crystal perfect bottles since highschool..!!💕🦋🗼💜..ny old house needs " brightening b& lightening" ...it needs airy" & ethereal looks like lace sheers & curvy cabriole demi- tables.....plus being in West Texas jear New Mexico i love my turquoise on disply on old dress makerers dummy or " dressforms".....
Maximalism is my favorite style. More is more.
Haha thats the spirit!
Love the basket ❤
Thank you!
Your prices seem really reasonable.
Thanks Deb!
It's a bottle drying rack x
Crofton, is also sold at Aldi.
Interesting!
Hi Cory. The Cottage style is more like French country. This is because the cottage style was born in Europe.
Thats a very good point!
Love it all Cory!
Thank you Sonnie!
For me Cottage style is more about flowers and picket fences while farmhouse has chickens and grain sacks....
True. I wonder what do we call it if we love all of that stuff
I think cottage has a little of cosy English decor
Ooo yes
You have a lot of great ideas 💡
I try! Haha
Love these projects...are you allowed to share the green/blue color name/brand of the paint you used on the 2nd cuttingboard? It was so rich looking.
Pressed fern in fusion mineral paint
Many thanks!
yea!!~
Loved your natural large cutting board and wheelbarrow, thanks for all the different projects.
Thank you so much!
Crofton is Aldi brand...
I think of cottage like English cottage or French cottage/ European cottage. When I think farmhouse I think Texas, USA etc. To me they are quite a bit different
Haha thats a really good analogy
I use earth breeze eco sheets
How great! Take advantage of that discount
The white helps to tone down the green. I would say it was a happy accident.
What was name of song you played with the 1st cutting board?
Thanks for sharing! ❣️
Thank you for watching
Your prices seem low, but I'm sure they move faster as a result.
Right now things are moving slower than I'd like, but hopefully as word gets out about my shop things will sell faster
*No shade, Cory...its spelled "Pedestal" FYI. 😊*
Thank you
@@DesertDIY *You're welcome!*
Is it available to purchase. How much are you selling it for.
Can you send me an email with a screenshot of the item you are looking to buy?
Save us the entire painting.
You should oft charge more for the cutting board atleast 20 if it was me I'd do 30
It turns out my aunt wants it so I am sending it to her
@DesertDIY yeah just don't cut yourself short girl .. especially if you find it online price it atleast I little under half price ... you'll get that cause thrift stores are charging almost retail price.
Hi, I’m new to the booth sales, but am sort of thinking that your prices are very low. I’m wondering if you’re really making money. My booth is costing me almost $200. A month. Although you’re probably getting things mighty cheap, you still need to add your time and materials and gas. I mean no disrespect, your creations are cute, and I just think you should price at like 2 to 3 times your investment.
I like light colors dark is depressing to me😢
Same
All wonderful, but you really need to charge more as others have said.
White
Your prices seem really low🌻🇨🇦
Yes I would think they are lower than most
So over farmhouse. Modern or mcm
I like that you know what you want
@@DesertDIY but hey i love all you adorable crafts alot
Your prices are so low. I watch another utuber who buys from the bins and resaells for expensive prices.😊
I definitely prefer French country. I have never like farmhouse. To me it is old 80s country 2.0.
Haha I can see why you'd feel that way
I don’t think cottage and farmhouse are the same. A lot of cottages are decorated as the beach look-not farm house style ,at least that’s my personal opinion.
You are giving your things away! You should charge ,3 times as much. Go on line charge what it is worth.
I will be charging more for the online items
I feel you sell you things for way too cheap considering the work you put into them!
Cottage is for me isn't distressed so much. But most of all, you're selling these way way to low.
Thank you. I'll consider upping my prices once my business is more established. Right now sales are very slow in my booth
Girl...your prices are way too LOW! 😮 Give yourself a raise....they will still sell as long as you don't go overboard.
My style is MCM and most of what you do is not that. BUT. I started watching you when you transformed furniture for young people who aged out of the foster system. I continue to watch you because you are a genuine person who cares about people. Even though you flip things that are not my style I will continue to watch you. Good luck on your adventures.
Thank you so much! That means a lot to me. One day I'll get to do that again! It just isn't as easy here.
