Please, could anyone who uses earthbreeze tell me how effective they are in a front loading washer using cold water only. Have been curious about these for a long time now. Thanks in advance to anyone who shares their experience. :)
For me Farmhouse is rustic, Cottage is more cozy with fabrics and greeneries. Love the videos, you always make us feel anyone can be successful at their DIY.
For me, cottage style has softer lines, floral prints, feminine accessories, antiques with curved details, touches of gold, etc. Farmhouse is more rustic, lots of black and white, straighter lines in furniture, plaid fabrics, etc. the chicken bread board is farmhouse.
I totally agree. And I would like to know where the people who say ‘farmhouse is on its way out’ get their information. I still love farmhouse and sell quite a bit in my booth.
My style is MCM and most of what you do is not that. BUT. I started watching you when you transformed furniture for young people who aged out of the foster system. I continue to watch you because you are a genuine person who cares about people. Even though you flip things that are not my style I will continue to watch you. Good luck on your adventures.
Great assortment of goodies, I have been watching you for a while now and I am so glad you are doing more videos! I love your style and your idea of making things affordable for everyone. You are an awesome young women.
Loved how the basket turned out in the soft purple! The metal bowl on the green stand looked so natural !! What a transformation with the cutting board after you sanded and oiled it!!!
Thanks for the inspiration. I'm not really into farm house. I guess I'm eclectic. You have great ideas that can be customized to individual styles. Beautiful creations.
I spent 120$ redoing my kitchen that included paint, knobs, wooden backsplash(stained yard stick looking slats ) granite painted counter top sealed very well and decor in primitive decor. I absolutely love my kitchen
You are so special...i appreciate your hard work....and as a side note...I'd put a vase in the center of the mug rack and fill with tall florals, like iris or tall greens
First off, I love your channel! I just recently discovered you, and I absolutely love watching your flip videos. I know I am late to the game, and I’m certain the item has already sold, however, in just looking at the two boxwood plants in the little planters where you added the faux lavender in the wire basket. Something to consider in the future if you find a decor piece like that is to sell the topiaries separately, you could paint the pots, and then use the basket for something else! You get multiple decor pieces out of one!
I’m definitely a combo of traditional with some transitional thrown in. I can appreciate rustic farmhouse, or the cottage core that seems to be a trend right now, but not in my house. I don’t really follow trends…I like to use pieces that can stand the test of time, and add or change out fabrics to freshen things up, or for holidays. So happy you are opening an online store….you will do great!
That cutting board oil is magical!! You are right when you say its so satisfying to use it. It transforms any old wooden piece into a brand new treasure. ✨️💛
I have that exact mug rack and I use it to dry my wine bottles before I decorate them. They don't stand up well upside down so this makes it so much easier to dry them. And then of course once they're painted they can go on there to dry as well.
Looks good. I had my doubts with the green board but now I think it’s lovely. I’m using green in my accent for my dining room. I like to use the farm style decor My house is 1925 kind of cottage farm originally.
I love watching all your flips and you’re also so dang adorable. For me it’s mid century modern all day. I love finished wood over painted. And can I just say that wood mortar nest! Soo cute!
Oh my gosh as you were starting the first project I thought I need to ask her what she uses to seal her cutting boards. Thank you for not only mentioning it, but linking and letting us know how to apply etc! I like the 2nd board a lot but to me it’s def farm house vs cottage. When I think or cottage I think of flowers and over abundance. Like lots of things on shelves, lots of floral prints. Might be an old concept though that I am picturing. 🤷🏻♀️
*Beautiful upcycles, Cory❣️ My favorite, of course, is the basket, because it is purple 💜💜💜💜...and the purple botanicals on the tobacco basket are lovely, too❣️🤣*
I love the soap stand you made for your kitchen sink area out of the plate and base. I am in love with your bead board plate hanging decor - so pretty!
Sorry but I drooled...lol...a little when you started on that big cutting board. I LOVE transforming them and did one similar for my sis...looked brand new afterwards and is now her favorite board. And I use the same oil on all my boards. Beautiful work you do :) From Wanda in Florida :)
Great tutorials you nailed it with the mixture of color's to create lavender I do that a lot and it's fun and endless as for the styles farmhouse to me is rustic and worn , cottage core /French country is more dainty florals in pastels I love farmhouse the whites with natural wood tones that cutting board came to life love it 😊
Vignette is so pretty🎀❤ Love the dark green and silver together. And I love the stuffed animals. A bench would look so good with your farmhouse/cottage table. Love it all💕
I have to say that you are now my favorite, thrifter/flipper Booth owner to watch on TH-cam! I’ve only just found you a couple weeks ago, so I’m watching many past episodes.
I love it all! Your choice of French cottage with the green paint is beautiful! You do very tasteful decor that anyone would enjoy putting in their home!
I think it's very easy to incorporate Farm House and Cottage. Similarities. Thant basket in Lavender turned out better than I was expecting. Lovely job. Thank you for sharing. 😊🙏
Just getting started with this video!! And have comments already. Big cutting board gives me the vibe of Art Deco. ❤ To me farmhouse & cottage are different. Farmhouse is animals and cottage is flowers & gardens. I think cottage looks more bright colors on structures-homes- with the small front yard being for flowers and veggies
Everything turned out really beautiful, Cory! In recent years, we've always traveled at Easter, and that's why I haven't put out the spring decorations in the apartment for years. :) But now that I've seen this beautiful purple color on your basket, I'm going to repaint ours and decorate for spring! :)
I have been using earth breeze for several years. I am very satisfied with how they perform. French country has always been my favorite. I love blues to decorate my house. Navy is really on trend. I have been using navy for forty years!
Oh, my goodness! I got an Easter basket for my daughter for free at a yard sale and it’s exactly the same (only solidly lilac)! I’ve never seen anybody else have that! And you created it! I love your style!
22:00 skylights are nice but they can leak if not properly installed & even if they are. We have skylights & it creates straight beams of light into that specific area only. Choose a skylight carefully. Get a very reputable roofing contractor to install them. 😊 (I’m speaking from experience both good & bad).
Farm fresh cutting board would be Farmhouse to me. I especially love the big heavy cutting board you used butcher block oil on! Your prices seen low to me, but popular I’m sure!
Hi Corey, I'm a new subby and I'm glad to have found your video. Been watching your thrift flips both for your booth or home. I love it! I love your vignette ideas too! It's great that you respond to questions or comments, i dont usually see that with other youtubers. Great job! Keep it up.
I see farmhouse as neutral, neutral, neutral, which is fine if you like neutrals! I find neutrals somewhat boring, but love cottage as it has lots of color, flowers, nature, woodland animals and leans toward quiet spaces. Thanks for the beautiful DIYs. ☀
FYI I use mineral oil on my cutting boards a couple times a year. It's very affordable and safe. I have a beautiful board my brother made for me for my wedding 43 years ago maintained by mineral oil.
If your kitchen does not have a second story above it, look at Solar Tubes. I absolutely loved mine. Reflective light without the heat and less chance for leaks. Far less expensive and I think more light than a skylight.
I think the cutting board with the stencil is more farm house. To me, Cottagecore is a little bit more dainty and Farm House is more big and bulky. Cottage Core reminds me of little flowers, little plants and things.
This is such a fun channel I just subscribed to your channel.. I feel there are definite differences in cottage and Farmhouse. Very different in my mind. Related but different. I do not much like farmhouse however I am very much like. Old things, but not contrived. I have a very eclectic style..
Can't wait for you to offer your projects for sale to your subscribers!! Have you thought about doing an auction for some of your projects? Ginger Chick Rehab does this quite often. It's interesting to watch how the bidding goes up and up. Disappointing when it goes over what I want to pay but it's fun anyway!
I dont think i have a style category. I like to mix styles. What catches my eye is what i bring home. It is usually very cohesive, though, as i gravitate towards certain colors.
I want to do French county. I have a collection of raisin racks with pictures and advertisements decoupaged on them. My first one has an original Gone With the Wind movie poster on it. It has a lot of orange on it, so i wont use it for this style. I have an Olympia Beer one that is a big one with a beautiful Geisha girl on it dressed in pinks and rose with very small amounts of light blue. Other ones i have are browns, green and aqua blue. Im hoping my gray couch with pink and rose flowered pillows and light blue solid pillows and cream throws will look good. My other furniture is dark wood--should i paint them white? All your prices are extremely reasonable!!
I have to admit that I really love the shabby chic style and I have to say that I have become masterful in the shabby part. The cheek is still a little iffy if you get what I mean. Thanks for sharing😅😅😅
All very very nice. Your prices are the best! I need to bring mine down a bit, but right now I am doing candlesticks and it's day 2 of working on them, I just can't stop myself from going maximalist on everything. I could have just gone white and gold, but nope I have them turquoise and I am boho ING them up!! I have had a etsy store for over 10 years, but have not try flipped haul items, had been thinking about it. My home is crazy eclectic, I collect dragons, lol. Great job cory!
The only difference in farm house and cottage core is color. Farmhouse black and white maybe a dark grey that's it. Cottage is anything from pastel to a more darker shade of pastels. But pastels also lean into shabby chic too. I love the colors for cottage. The white and black is just to unhomey? Unless you have a lot of pine included.
The pale green flowers with the lavender basket is just perfect. I was thinking a pale green ribbon but the flowers are better. I really liked all of your creations today. Would switching out some of the things in your booth with what you did today spark some sales?
I really like the farmhouse/cottage style .. I don't what style my home is lol .. my kitchen is mostly coke themed and greys my living room has a lot of browns and burnt orangey colors with some paris ,London decor and bedroom and bathroom are blues .. I'm a combo girl lol

Hi Cory! I've been using Earth Breeze sheets for about a year now. I really love them, and I think my clothes come out clean too!
I am so happy to hear that! I definitely enjoyed using them already!
I’ve been using these detergent sheets for a while. They are great!

I only wash in cold standard washer works great for me.

Thank you Darlene I think that's a good point

Thank you Caroline. It's so fun bringing things back to life
Cory, thanks for entertaining us during chores (or coffee break). You’re so earthy & make things approachable. Elizabeth
Thank you so much Elizabeth! I think earthy is a great adjective
Thanks for the inspiration. I'm not really into farm house. I guess I'm eclectic. You have great ideas that can be customized to individual styles. Beautiful creations.
Thank you! Yes, of course you can change it up for any style

The first cutting board was an end grain and possibly walnut. These boards that size are running $150+.
Love the silver bowl on top of the candles holder
I think I need to do some more of those!

Julie I feel the same way! I decorate pretty traditional/transitional in my house. I think it's more practical.
That cutting board oil is magical!! You are right when you say its so satisfying to use it. It transforms any old wooden piece into a brand new treasure. ✨️💛
Absolutely
I enjoy flips for both your shop and for your home. I also enjoy the room makeovers.
Ooooh I have some room makeovers coming up soon!
I have that exact mug rack and I use it to dry my wine bottles before I decorate them. They don't stand up well upside down so this makes it so much easier to dry them. And then of course once they're painted they can go on there to dry as well.

I like to use the farm style decor My house is 1925 kind of cottage farm originally.
That's going to be lovely! Old houses are so great
I love watching all your flips and you’re also so dang adorable. For me it’s mid century modern all day. I love finished wood over painted. And can I just say that wood mortar nest! Soo cute!
Thank you so much! I think wood is beautiful too. I like it either way

Thank you for sharing your finds and your DIY. You make it look easy! I definitely got some inspiration from your artistry and staging.
I'll say it again I love watching your videos, you seem so comfortable doing your upcycles knowing your being recorded.
Thank you! I have been doing youtube for over 5 years so I got used to it over time

I have been using earth breeze for several years. I am very satisfied with how they perform. French country has always been my favorite. I love blues to decorate my house. Navy is really on trend. I have been using navy for forty years!
Navy is so classic! And timless. Love it. I'm glad you also like the detergent!
I think you can clean up that green cutting board if you are not happy with it - by putting clear wax on it. It will brighten it up.
Oh, my goodness! I got an Easter basket for my daughter for free at a yard sale and it’s exactly the same (only solidly lilac)! I’ve never seen anybody else have that! And you created it! I love your style!
How cool! Thank you!
I love purple in any shade.

Do you ship?
Hi there! It is already pending a sale with a family member at the moment.
FYI I use mineral oil on my cutting boards a couple times a year. It's very affordable and safe. I have a beautiful board my brother made for me for my wedding 43 years ago maintained by mineral oil.
Hi Cory love your videos thanks for sharing. You are down to earth love your energy your projects are great 😊
Thank you so much Bertha
If your kitchen does not have a second story above it, look at Solar Tubes. I absolutely loved mine. Reflective light without the heat and less chance for leaks. Far less expensive and I think more light than a skylight.
I have thought about it. We got a quote once on our last house for $1000 so we are waiting and thinking about it
I love your low prices! I’m retired on a fixed income, so your prices are accessible to people like me. 😊
I think the cutting board with the stencil is more farm house. To me, Cottagecore is a little bit more dainty and Farm House is more big and bulky. Cottage Core reminds me of little flowers, little plants and things.
That's a good point

I am totally Primitive and try to stay in that vibe except at Christmas...I love everything Christmas

Thank you Mary

My dad collected dragons for a while! He still has them all. I think you should definitely try selling your creations one etsy!
There is a company called magnolia that has really great screen print stencils. Great flips
I'll have to check that out
