Todays video is the GTO VZ Cluster Mod This is how I fixed the Dave's World GTO
Today we see me, David from the Dave's World TH-cam channel fix my GTO AGAIN!!!!! I've had this car for years and the air bag light has been stuck on as long as I can remember. I tried tons of scanners and code readers as well as had some shops check the air bag light and non could read this code for me. Finally I got my hands on the VZ Cluster Mod program created years ago in order to fix my air bag system. I show how to use the software and run the cable. I show where you can get the software and cable as well as how I fixed the car. This program is awesome and I wish I found it years ago!
Years ago I had the air bag fault in my GTO. Used an old snap-on Modis scanner that was able to read it.

Maybe during the time the car was new that could work. Maybe I could pick up an older snap on scanner. Didn't think of that. Thank you.
@@davesworld2132 yeah this was like 2010 just to give an idea how long ago it was. For what it is worth. Buddy of mine now, uses an Autel scanner that can read the BCM and other codes in my 04 Sierra
@@Kevin_Ruz I have one of those it works on everything but the GTO airbag. At least on my car.
we dont have the ss sold here in canada had the gto but i never seen one still . i would watch most of the videos you make about it. love the cruze content also
I never knew that actually. So I guess is it possible to get one imported from USA or you’re not allowed to do that in Canada? By the way thank you for watching my videos I truly appreciate it.

I want these cars to be around forever. They are not loved because they are not flashy. How ever to me the driving experience is un matched. Unfortunately a lot of people stick their noses up in the air at this car and call it a Cobalt with a V8. But I think its on par with a BMW type quality with a Corvette attitude.

Lol I filmed a bunch more but I couldn’t make the green screen work right this is the best I could do. But I’m planning on some more future stuff!
You should add some decals or vinyls to both vehicles that fits their names.
Totally!!!! I have cool stuff coming up for the SS I wasn’t sure if I should film all of the mods or not.
Hey Dave! Concerning the Chevy SS I do like that color on the wheels you purchased against the Red exterior but I would think that a more updated style like an 8 or 10 spoke would look better. Those are good sized wheels so I don’t think it would close down the look too much. I am not big on showing a lot of disc and rotor but that’s personal preference.
Know what’s funny is I’m a huge brake guy so that’s why I do like a thin 5 spoke. What would you think of body color calipers behind the gold or maybe gold calipers to match the wheels?
You it’s funny, after I wrote that I thought to myself, it’s Brembo Dave of course he’s going to show more Brake! I think the body color would look super sharp against the contrasting wheel and tie into the car nicely. I am a big contrast guy but I like to hold it down on the number of colors for example on mine I only want to see black,red and the factory chrome trim.
