Big thank you to @tesery for the opportunity to look at such a run little display as well. Even better you guys are real easy to deal with. Thank you! If anyone is considering a display or just generally looking for some quality upgrades on the Tesla, should definitely check out Tesery, and you may even get a nice surprise with code DOWNUNDER to kick start your Tesla journey as well.
@tesery finally installed mine today, but for some reason it doesn’t display the correct battery charge? Have you guys seen this issue? My car is 100% full but the Tita display show 76% but says fully charged
@@o40ityyeah same I think the software updates made it an error there but the range is right. Let see when an update is available to install on the puck
Thanks for the review. In one of these install videos, it would be super helpful if the presenter could show the back of the plastic trim pieces so we can see how they connect. Regarding a "speedo", that means something completely different in the US 😆
@@kelvindownunder The side of the trim with the clips that secure the piece in place. I'm worried about breaking something or the piece rattling after a reinstall. Thx.
@@kelvindownunder I ended up doing something similar. Most of the cable is hidden, there is a bit left hanging just around the wheel that I couldn’t fully hide, but the rest is great
Thank you so much for posting this detailed video! Avoiding speeding fines is my main motivation for wanting speed displayed prominently above the steering column, given the prevalence of speed cameras in Australia. And the reason I hesitate to buy this display is due to the lack of the speed limit being shown. However, Tesery's description for the product states that the display has a "speeding reminder". I have not seen any photos or videos showing this feature. Can you elaborate on this feature and how effective it is? I would like to use this display to know when I have exceeded the speed limit because I've sped up too much or that the speed limit changed and I need to slow down. I have Tesla's Speed limit warnings feature enabled, but I find the visual indicator is easy to miss on the main display and the chime can sometimes be too much. For example, the Tesla is not yet smart enough to know about speed limits that affect certain hours. A good visual indicator is fine for those situations, but the chime can get pretty annoying and distracting to any passengers. Have you found this experience to be improved by this display?
have you got any firmware upgrade to the unit so far? any issue? i saw some Ads showing the unit now has bigger ring indicators closer to the edge, utilising the space it has
I upgraded it a couple times then I stopped bothering as I mainly just tread speed and it’s been right still. And I realised the km righted itself after 1 update as well.
@ thanks for the feedback. i'm not sure there have been two different products/hardware from the market, as I saw one in Aliexpress that seems to have signals/blinker indicator ring much bigger than this one, almost utilising the whole diameter of the unit.
Hello. Thanks for the video but I have question. When I connect the mount it can charge my phone. But when I put the cookie which is no response. Do you have any experience before?
Hmm interesting where do you see non English? The item plugs in laptop via usb C on the puck. But the puck displays enough out of the box for me. Best message Tesery if it doens look right as well.
You can, actually. Just checked :) Here’s the link as well, just choose Dashboard, and u can also get a discount with code DOWNUNDER as well. Hope this helps. www.tesery.com/products/tita-model-3-highland-y-dashboard-display?ref=DOWNUNDER&variant=45329942282472
Oh that’s on top of the fact that there’s no proper blind spot and 360 or a proper rear view mirror. But hey, on the roads at the lights it smokes most cars if I wana be immature, and for long road trips it takes 90% of the mental load away with auto pilot so I can actually do a full 13 hr drive to another state and still have energy to go out after. I guess one just can’t have everything. That said, i do also enjoy driving my other very non-efficient non-ev car for the off roadings and adventures. They both have their places. Both have pros and both have cons.
I think most of us dont need another display. Its more for people who like gadgets or cannot get used to the big screen in the middle. Id say 95% of tesla owners wouldnt buy such displays because there is no need to have a display in front of you in my opinion

Great video mate. Well done and thanks for sharing: I just bought MY but I don’t think I am yet game enough to start installing stuff myself
Congrats on the new car!
Thank you for the feedback though I really appreciate it. Nice to get a virtual pat on the back :)
Just ordered one, looking forward to it : )

Awesome video! Just wanted to ask if you had a video or know of a good video showcasing how to route the cable through cleanly behind the console?
I just hid all the cables in the trims :$
I’d see if I can film something

On a highland is it possible the wire it neatly into the centre console USB instead of the rear? Can you get the cable into the centre console?
Yeah u absolutely can. I just kept cable up front coz my kids love kicking the cables and broke a few
@@kelvindownunder How do you get the cable into the centre console invisibly?
Hi Kelvin, looking for this for the 2024 refresh.... Tessories not selling, have you seen this for the refresh version?
There are a couple do have a look and code DOWNUNDER works too. I think they are just pausing development waited for Christmas update

Have you been able to get an English firmware update for this? Now the range % is incorrect.
I actually left it as incorrect. But when I emailed Tesery they have sent me instructions for new firmware which I haven’t got a chance to do yey
@kelvindownunder i cant find the new firmware, been googling but no avail. Hope you could share the updated firmware
Thanks for your videos. How does the unit update ?
I haven’t updated mine yet but the puck itself has a usb plug to it.
Hello. Thanks for the video but I have question. When I connect the mount it can charge my phone. But when I put the cookie which is no response. Do you have any experience before?
If u had already installed everything correctly including the obd side of things. I wonder if it’s a faulty puck? Does it work if u plug in the usb?
Yes. If I connect the type c it is working fine. Also tried another car mount it is working. Just the tita mount is not working 😅
Must admit this installation scares me but maybe i should get over it lol
I promise u it looks worst than it actually is!
Hey so I got this but how do I turn it to English? Is there an app for this?
Hmm interesting where do you see non English? The item plugs in laptop via usb C on the puck. But the puck displays enough out of the box for me.
Best message Tesery if it doens look right as well.
Can it display in MPH? Does it show any navigational information?
You can - there’s a usbc plug to set up
Hey Kelvin, did have or notice that the cookie dash display had
incorrect battery charge display?
Hey there, no I just checked again and it’s still accurate and aligned to what’s on screen but I haven’t got the latest .20 yet
You need to update the transmitter software. Do you know how to get it into the music mode?
Is this one works at the model3 2024 highland? i mean in HW4.0 is ok?
Hey yeah mate the speedo itself will work for it. Mate of mine driving highland LR also installed.
@@kelvindownunder thanks a lot
Hey mate, how does it deal with tesla software updates?
So far it has released updates online to match it when needed. So patches the same way.
Thabks mate. Was cobsidering this one. When you mount your phone, does it interfere with airflow?
You can see it’s actually below the aircon line so for me it’s was fine 👍🏻
Does installing this device void the warranty?
Nothing really voids warranty of the entire car, but in general if you broke anything then it’s on you. But otherwise no.
Q: how does the position of the mount go with adjusting the steering wheel position (in/out)?
It’s mounted on the column so comes in and out together but for me it stayed good as my wife and I changes setting and both felt it’s working well
Is possible to buy only screen?
You can, actually. Just checked :)

Haha thank you for your support!
And who knows, maybe next car/2nd car~!

This TITA is crap... do not buyt it. No idea where to get updates for this thing... and the battery is now showing wrong percentage..
Yeah i messaged Tesery and they said there’s an updated software but haven’t told me where. I shall follow up again!
Tesla owners are funny, most cars come with this type of display as standard, maybe having a laptop in the centre is not such a genius idea?
