Well done video. Easy to follow and the product looks great.
I just installed mine. It’s great quality and the swivel’s action is very smooth. One question… is the swivel suppose to swivel more to the right than to the left? It’s not a deal-killer, but I want to make sure I didn’t mess anything up.
Hi James, thanks for your comment and we are glad you're enjoying your mount! Feel free to reach out with a quick video of what you are referring to and we are more than happy to confirm whether or not your install needs adjustment!
You can contact us directly at info@orkoauto.com.
I finished the installation. I received help right away and I'm very happy with my screensaver. I totally recommend this upgrade.
@@cristinacamero3733 thanks again Cristina! Enjoy your mount!
Help! I'm installing this thing right now, and everything works except for the screws for the temperature sensor. They don't work, they don't fit😮 how can I get a hold of you😮😮😮😮
Just finished this. Pretty straight forward. Just go slow, take your time. 2 things to point out. At the end, those hex screws feel like they are getting tight but keep going ! If your screen still feels loose, keep fighting. I thought it was not right but realized the screws were just not tight enough.
2) If your screen does not immediately turn back on, do a soft reboot by holding down the break and the 2 scroll wheels.
Thanks for sharing your experience and helpful tips!
For those worried about the screen sitting slightly lower; I installed this kit on my MOY a month ago, and the positioning difference is hardly noticeable. I'm 6'2, so I have the screen at a slight upward angle. Would take the trade-off on positioning for the tilt-ability any day.
Did it affect your ability to see the entirety of your phone screen on the wireless charging pad?
Could we get in next gen to be able to push in and out the screen...
Thank you for the clear and easy to follow video! Made this process so much easier!
Good video. Just installed mine but my god it was difficult! Had to buy additional screws as the ones provided were way too short
Hi Jeff, glad you got it in the end! Additional screws should not be necessary. I would try to go back a few steps and ensure everything was secured correctly. We have heard of customers getting a bit frustrated with getting those last 2 bolts in but have always managed to get it in the end. It just takes a bit of readjusting to ensure the holes are aligned!
It’s not a big deal for me if my screen can tilt or not, myn doesn’t tilt at all and I’m ok with that.. what I would love for Tesla to do is make a better battery.. how is it that lucid has a 500 range battery and Tesla can barely do 300.. also on my Tesla I have to charge my car every two to three days.. I started with 240 miles and now I’m at 180, and I’ve only had the car for 2 years and only has 30k miles.. at this rate I’m gonna have to buy a new battery in the next two years… 😅😂
How much lower does the screen sit from factory?
I would like to know the answer to this as well.
Will it work with a sotrage case under it?
Do behind-screen trays work at all with the swivel mount or does this interfere with those?
It ultimately would depend on which type of tray you have and where they mount onto the screen, but please keep in mind that the edges of the screen get closer to the dashboard when the screen is tilted, so that would be my only concern!
Does it affect your ability to see the entirety of your phone screen on the wireless charging pad?
Please refer to our new installation video for the highland screen tilt kit! th-cam.com/video/DB96xOnowOk/w-d-xo.html. In there you will find more angles of the screen with a phone on the charging pad, and well as the height difference.
Trading in my model 3 for the new highland version. Any idea if this swivel mount will work with the new model 3 highland?
We are still working on a mount for the highland but we are more than happy to let you know when we have one available!
@@orkoauto Awesome! Would love to get it!
@@orkoauto hey just want to follow up to see if this model will fit 2024 M3 highland. I accidentally purchased it without confirming. Need to know to see if I have to return it. Thanks
Any idea if this would void any warranty dealing with the screen or anything else?
Given that the mount does not alter any wiring and is simply just replacing the way it mounts to the dash, it will not void any warranties regarding any screen related issues - or any other issues with your vehicle. The mount is fully reversible so in any instance you need to prove to Tesla that whatever warranty issue that has occurred is not related to the mount, you can simply revert back to the original mount!
@@orkoauto Thanks! Appreciate the reply!
How are you liking it still? Does the screen stay in place? Also, if I order from them does it ship from the US or overseas?
We ship from British Columbia, Canada!
@@orkoauto I am in California, how many days does it take to arrive? Is shipping free?
@@orkoauto any promo codes now?
I would love to buy one now if you have a promo code.

Really well done video. Just got my Y not ready to attempt this yet but a great idea. Thank you 😊
Got to install this today. Great instructions, but my god. That temperature sensor was an absolute pain in the ass removing. Everything else was easy, but fuck that thing
We are happy to hear you were able to install it successfully! Unfortunately it does seem as though everyone's vehicles can have parts and plugs that fit more tight than others causing removals to be more difficult for some.
Does it change the height of the screen?
Yes - makes it slightly lower
someone just installed mine. But for some reason I think it sits lower now. What do you think he did wrong?
That’s normal. The screen will be lower after this installation.
Yes, @@M1A1SteakSauce is correct! This is normal due to where the hinge sits in relation to where the screen mounts to the hinge.
I'm looking for a swivel mount that sits a little higher, and a little closer to the driver.
Fantastic video
Great Video and this Swivel/Tilt mount looks the Sturdiest and most movable so far. Do you offer any Discount Codes?
