Great video and lots of great advice! The only other extra things I've bought: 1) seat back hooks to hold grocery bags (instead of the iPad holder you show), 2) Front window sun shade (I found one for $7 on Amazon), 3) a plastic grill cover for the air intake in the car's front to keep out bugs/leaves,, 4) portable tire inflator, and 5) rubber cup inserts and an armrest cover (these actually came with the mud flaps I bought a year ago when I bought my Y)
Hi Bearded TG, new to the channel, love the content. Quick question, what was the phone mount that was mounted behind the steering wheel, that's exactly what I am looking for, it was right before the MagBak phone mount that mounts to center screen?
Awesome video , dude I bought the black Hub plastic caps for my Gemini 19" model Y rims & they look awesome BUT THEY MAKE THIS POPPING POPCORN NOISE only when I'm driving from 3mph till around 10mph then it goes away. Why's this happening? How do I fix this hubcap noise
Rain-X!!! Makes the rain just bead up any blow away. HIGHLY recommended for ANY car. I apply it every 3-6 months and barely ever even use my wipers. Use the spray, and Instead of applying it by hand, use a buffer or buffer attachment on a power drill, wipe it off, and BAM! Two coats applied to ALL windows and wiped clean in 10 minutes!
I have the refreshed M3 LR. I love this car. I have a lot of the accessories you mentioned. I really enjoy the 3D Maxpider floor mats they fit great. One accessory that is a must have and makes a huge difference, makes the cabin feel more personable and it faces in the direction of driver , swivel mount. I absolutely love it. Highly recommend getting it.
I got a lot of these when I got my Y thanks to your recommendations from past videos too. Be careful if you get the seat back protectors the ipad holder will not fit as designed since the thickness of the seatback becomes too much.
Great video man! I really appreciate it. Scooped up a couple of these from the links. You mentioned geeking out on phone holders like myself. I’ve owned so many cases and mounts. Of all the ones you’ve tried, are there any that you recommend that can swivel so I can angle the phone at the road to record video looking forward? I have an iPhone 15 max so it has to be strong on the adhesive side and the magnet side any info would be super helpful! Thanks again 😊
A classic accessory not mentioned might be additional SSD storage for the cameras? I also find that I need a glass-cleaning wand for the windshield interior. Lift pucks for the clueless tire shop? Can Tesla connectivity be considered an accessory? Is the breakaway charge connector an actual essential? And a CCS charge adapter (for when Electrify America is the only game in town)? Any major advantage to a separate trip-planner app (e.g., ABRP)? Or trip performance monitoring app?
I got a pawmanity pet seat cover for the back, covers the entire seat including the edges, just not the head rests. Anything else wouldn’t really catch all their junk. Makes it super easy to clean up.
Yahtzee1 'benbohi' has the correct answer! There is a GOOD reason why human children are called 'kids'{look the word up Gen X types}. @@_Tracy_B when the car has a third row, they change the second row seats to a different type. The second row seats get more options for sliding them forward/back and tilt. You get more leg room in the second row (if you are not using the third). And if you have a small dog you want contained, you can lift up the third row seats and slide the second row all the way back. It basically makes a comfy contained space.
@Master_Failure awesome info! I've just started looking into getting a MY. It's mainly just me in the car, but having a comfortable second row would be great. Thanks
Don't buy the under seat storage. There's actually a front passenger safety sensors underneath the seats. if those sensors are touched or moved, it will prompt service required alerts "front passenger safety restraint fault".
Screen protector: No need. Underneath the seat storage: No need. Trash bin: Maybe. Storage under the arm rest: No need. Cellphone holder: No need Leather protector: No need All season carpet: Yes Weird magnetic storage under display: No need. Paint protection coating: No need Wheel cover hub: Maybe Front grill cover: No need
Need for a spare tyre? This writer is old enow to recall when you HAD to have a spare tyre {and 1/2 of the tools of a full car repairs shop] in the back of your I.C.E. car. There was a GOOD reason for the huge trunks of the old cars. But to the point, I have never used a spare tyre in so long I cannot recall. Spare tyres date to the era of real rubber/real rubber compounds, that were subpar. Thus to cut costs and a lack of real need, car makers have left it off and replaced it with a 'fix a flat' kit. Interestingly enough this writers 2019 Kia Niro BEV DOES have a dedicated space for a 'doughnut style' spare tyre if you want to buy one.
Really starting to hate all car youtubers. They are all peddling the same products and trying to make them sound soooooooo good. This dud is a crock of shit!
Sadly, the Point is fully valid. Even my peasant level Kia Niro BEV has a factory built sunshade, for example. Tesla is a tech company, that happens to build cars for a sideline business. It IS the right car in many ways for many things- but its flawed in so many ways for the sheer benefit of cost cutting to the detriment of the consumer.

the screen swivel is an excellent modification...easy to install allowing you to get the perfect viewing angle everytime..up, down, left or right.
One day I’ll have my model 3 Mark my words ! 😎
Same here for the Y lol
You will! I just got mine!
6 months.
@@toridasjust got my y
@Eltiooferta lol me too last wendsday! It's a used 2022 but it's mine !

Make sure your tires are aired up and not rubbing on the caps
Really appreciated the parent section! ESPECIALLY the iPad holder! Had no clue that existed! Thank you!!!
Get the Tesla mudflaps. They are flexible for a reason.
Don't get the hard plastics ones aftermarket.
Finally found a nice video for accessories. Thank you
No problem 👍
My car was delivered with the front mud flaps and the back PPF film directly from Tesla!
Loved the hidden center console. Just bought one, thanks!!
Great! if install a dashboard and rear entertainment screen, will be perfect

Tuxmat is the BEST FLOOR MAT !!

Nice recommendations!
Glad you enjoyed!
Fantastic video! Thanks!
I should have bought a used Tesla model 3 those blue book prices are unreal
What do you recommend for recording FSD videos from inside the car? Is there a wall mount that you can use

Hi
I have PPF can add ceramic over the PPF for more protection
Any rear monitor you would recommend?
No, most of them distrust the air flow in the back too much
Any suggestions for neck rests that are not elastic to hold in place with head rests that precent swaying
didn't you put pedal covers on your car in another video? if so, which ones? thanks
I have a matte PPF. will a ceramic coating sort of cancel that matte finish ?

I have been blowing through storage on the Cybertruck and may need to get something larger
Did you recommend to do ceramic coating for outside even after doing PPF ?
Makes it easier to keep it clean
Saw one yesterday with rear window plastic thing (Louver?) on it kinda looked cool
Thanks! Sunroof sunshade Amazon link is the same as the privacy shades x)
Do you have a link for the sunroof shade? it's linked incorrectly..thanks
Wiper blades every 6 months? I live in Fl too and had my Y over 1 years and the wipers they are still great. I drove 20k miles in my 1st year.
Don’t know, we go through them like hot cakes

That iPad “rear of seat holder” seems like a projectile waiting to happen 😂.
Other than that, lots of good tips and tricks thanks!
Where do i get the 3d maxpider mats and which model is the best one
Fridge :) though Tesla disabled 12v when in sentry
3rd row on the model y is my best hint.
Noone talks about how it makes the second row so much better! 3rd row is still useless, though.
How so?
@@_Tracy_B when the car has a third row, they change the second row seats to a different type. The second row seats get more options for sliding them forward/back and tilt.

I have some of the Basenor products, but also Jowua.
what product called for the inside of the seats for protection?
Hey Ho! I just saw a video on a POWERED SUNROOF for the M-Y. So easy to install, even I could do it. Its on the Shiva Sapkota pages.
Door seal kit link please
Does anyone have recommendations on steering wheel covers
Awesome video thanks for the info!
Don't get the rubber floor mat for the frunk.
It's already hard plastic and water proof.
I spilled water in it and it stayed.
Don't buy the under seat storage.
There's actually a front passenger safety sensors underneath the seats.
if those sensors are touched or moved, it will prompt service required alerts "front passenger safety restraint fault".
$2500 for diy ppf is wild.
Called some shops near me. $7k for PPF. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Shoot the link for the ppf please
vent covers under the front seats
Don't get a screen protector!
It actually voids the screen warranty.
Don't believe me, read the Tesla manual! It says it clearly
Great !
What about brake covers
Screen protector: No need.
Underneath the seat storage: No need.
Trash bin: Maybe.
Storage under the arm rest: No need.
Cellphone holder: No need
Leather protector: No need
All season carpet: Yes
Weird magnetic storage under display: No need.
Paint protection coating: No need
Wheel cover hub: Maybe
Front grill cover: No need
Your opinion: no need
why wouldn't you do a screen protector lol just in case man
Don't get the seal kit. Before and after the test with a actual DB sound tester proved it barely does anything.
Mine started falling off immediately
3D floor mats are not the best option. Tuxmats are made of a higher quality material, have better coverage, and are much more attractive imo.
Why do people put screen protectors on their model 3. Never had one, been using M3 for years : screen is perfect.
Waste of money.
Wild that we volunteer to watch commercials
Charging??
How about a SPARE TIRE!! Can’t believe all the discussion of accessories with no mention of the need for a spare tire!

Influencers gotta influence.
I took a shot every time you said "however" and I got so wasted after watching the video once.
How many people know screen protector invalids warranty
Assuming this is true, it might take you 10 seconds to take it off before a service appointment. So doesn't make a bit of difference.
Really starting to hate all car youtubers. They are all peddling the same products and trying to make them sound soooooooo good. This dud is a crock of shit!
Stopped following you because it is just a long commercial plus most things are not applicable to my m3 2024
Cool 🙄
lol, k
The world runs off money. Who knew
This isn’t an airport, you don’t have to announce your departure
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Imagine realizing you “must have” 20 accessories for your car and still believing you bought the right car.

Less chatter and get on with it. SMH.
