Whoops! *The motion activated lift gate isn’t a new feature like I said, last generation has that too on the SV trim and up and the Divide n Hide doesn’t actually have the higher level load option like the picture shows (that was last gen, I didn’t realize that at the time )😬*
You have gave the😍 BEST review ever on this car..you did not talk fast and i understood everyday..iam thinking of getting mines..i have the Nissan Roque 2015..and i love the car.Its a beauty 😍of a car.
Nice interior, best monitor n gauge cluster among Japanese brands. Nice back row features, but, the exterior, engine , drive train, n cvt are off to me. Because lots of snow here, rogue really not doing very good here in winter. Again, the cluster n tech features are very nice indeed. I'm still struggling to decide from Forester, rav4 hybrid, Tucson n CX30.
Awesome work with this one, Nolan! I am really liking the new styling of the Rogue. Excellent job showing off the new details. Can't wait for you to get it on your own turf as a test car. Keep it up, man!! 🙌🏽
I think this new design looks great. Hard to make a box on wheels look cool but at least Nissan is trying. I also like the design of the old key fob. No need to change it in my opinion just for the sake of change. Looking forward to a night review !
I do like the redesign. The side of the car has some elements of the jeep compass imo. Overall, I think Nissan did a very good job. Definitely worth a look, if you're searching within this class of vehicle.
Nice to see the Hill Country scenery. Spent a number of years in Austin and those roads and views are among my fondest memories. As far as the Rogue is concerned, Nissan has tightened it up slightly for 2021, cutting off a couple of inches in length to put it more firmly in the compact SUV category and differentiate more clearly from the midsize Murano. That leaves the Tiguan as the lone "tweener" (185" in length) between the compact and midsize groups. The slight reduction in length cut into the rear cargo space very slightly (38.5 vs 39.3 cubic ft) but surprisingly managed to add to the already generous total cargo space (74.1 vs 70 cf). All positives. I'm not a fan of CVTs but the current versions are a significant improvement over the first generations introduced some years back. And Nissan has joined other automakers in disguising their most objectionable, droning behavior with "simulated" gears. Few buyers in this category couldn't care less what kind of transmission their vehicle has as long as they don't have to deal with a third pedal. And the advantage of a CVT in terms of fuel efficiency may be slight but it's undeniable. Again, the overwhelming majority of shoppers in the compact SUV category are happy to trade scalding performance for even a minor advantage in fuel efficiency. Nissan may opt to cram a turbo on the Rogue's engine but I doubt they'll even recover the design and production costs in terms of sales. It would be a pure marketing gimmick. Bringing back a hybrid, or adding a plug-in hybrid, or an EV, on the other hand is far more likely to improve sales. Finally, Nolan, what's the deal with reviewers' obsession with key fobs? Are they like women's fashions where they must be redesigned every year or two to be the latest and greatest? I have two cars with fobs. Each sits in a bag I carry when I drive. I seldom even look at either one. Am I alone in this?
I'm with you on reviewers obsession with the key fobs. I only care if it functions and will be light in my pocket. As the old saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it 😃
Haha good question on the fobs. To me, this one is perfectly fine. I have them in my pocket usually so a skinny one like this is perfect but I figure I’d touch in it cuz there will be a lot of comments on it lol
I test drove to mew rogue loved it. Can’t wait to see the new pathfinder when you get tour hands on it. Of you didn’t know Nissan has really stepped their game up they have a new ceo and they are re branding
Hello Nolan. Great review. The Rogue looks a tough vehicle (although Scotty Kilmer says never buy a Nissan!). It is interesting to see the new design as the European 2021 Qashqai is due to have a similar front end, and will be aligned with the new Juke inside and out. It should be impressive. Enjoy your weekend. :-)
This is not a body on frame SUV, then why the rear seats are higher than front ones? Also, those rear seats higher sitting position looks less comfy than the competition especially those in RAV-4 and Forester. Can yo comment on that Nolan?
That's a really nice interior with plenty tech IMHO. Love that shifter. I also like the exterior redesign. A boxier look without being completely blocky. Good one bruh. Definitely upped the ante for this segment. IF I had to whine about anything, I would say bump up the power to at least match the Rav4. Have blessed weekend.
First review I’ve seen on the new Rogue. Good job! Overall, a definite improvement. The interior looks good. The exterior overall looks good. Not a fan of split headlamps though. The key needs to go! The powertrain is a bit of a let down and definitely not a Nissan CVT fan.
I live in Japan, but at first glance I thought power was enough. The reason is that if there is too much electricity in Japan, that electricity cannot be used up. I think it was probably designed for Japan. Actually, the conventional model had a 2.5 liter lineup, but the Japanese specification uses a 2.0 liter engine, which is lower than that. But, I am also worried that there is no turbo model. (I used the translation. The words may be wrong.)
I bought a new 2016 from dealer. At approximately 80k miles I began to have serious transmission issues. Nissan just gave me the runaround. No more nissan for me. I will post same comments on all rogue videos
Okay, it’s slow. I said it, it’s slow. Load it down with luggage and five people and go to the mountains. It’s going to struggle big time. It needs more power, it doesn’t need a V8 but it could use 200 horsepower.
Did you have it set for 1080p or 4K? It’s shot in 4K and it’s a good camera. Lighting wasn’t very good because of direct sun and dark shadows in Some spots
They aren’t my favorite either but not a deal breaker for me at all. Since there is no perfect vehicle it’s just a matter of what you can live with or not. For me the deal breaker is the CVT.
Whoops! *The motion activated lift gate isn’t a new feature like I said, last generation has that too on the SV trim and up and the Divide n Hide doesn’t actually have the higher level load option like the picture shows (that was last gen, I didn’t realize that at the time )😬*
Do you like this better than the Mazda CX-5 Top model?
I just got mine 2021 white pearl OUTSIDE AND WHITE LEATHER INTERIOR .....SWEET SUCH A NICE CAR ........
I’m glad Nissan is coming back Nolan despite people hating their CVTs I don’t mind them
Can’t wait for your Night review of this one :)
Me too! Glad to see them revamp this one. I can’t wait either...hopefully I can get one soon 👍

Thank you very much, glad to hear it!
Great video. I have a Nissan Rogue 2014. Been using it for 6 years now and I haven't encountered any problem. Very reliable car!
Got my platinum Black on Black yesterday. It's absolutely worth every penny of it.
It's a good looking outfit other than the split lighting. They really stepped it up with this new design too.
This was good to see Nolan thanks for bringing us this new Rogue! Nissan put effort into it and I can appreciate what they did!
Party time. Glad you made it to the press event. Congrats!!!!

Thank you! For sure, hopefully in the near future!

Nice work man! 🙌🏻
Thank you Adam!
I like the new interior design and features, but that front end design hasn't won me yet. They do have excellent sound systems. Thank you my friend.
I feel the same way! Appreciate you stopping by!
Nissan should shortly bring the new Rogue to Japan market as X-trail. We eagerly desire for this remarkable update on the most popular SUV here.
Excellent review.
Thank you!

Love to see the next one have a automatic transmission

Definitely looks better then the outgoing model. The interior design looks good.
Can you do a video on the Ford 2021 edge titanium elite. You did one on the 2020. The 21 has updated new info screen updated interior love to see that
Great video...I like the redesign but I wish for more power
Me too!
Come on! It's 2021. Why Nissan still use this old key fob?
With the old Nissan badge...
The Cvt mimics 8spd dct. I know the Mercedes-Benz Dcts shift harshly under full acceleration.
Looks Good Nolan! Big step up. Total Bummer the Highest Trim don’t have cooled seats when others offer them. Is the price not avail. yet?
But this Rogue offers more technology, equipment, features of comfort, safety than its competitors.
This platinum was right around $36k but I didn’t have an actual window stick or line item of what costs what yet ☹️
8:59 I can’t believe they took away the LED map lights. They should’ve kept it like that.
The new Nissan Rogue and the Altima are just missing only one thing: 9-speed direct shift w/ torque converter automatic transmission.
Thanks.
tell me what other cars in the same class that you just mentioned that have 9-speed automatic?

Thank you sir! Haha good ol Scotty. Hope you enjoy your weekend as well!
The Rogue have good reliability! He’s a good mechanic but a hatter of Nissan.
@@rafaelg9016 Very good. Nissan is very popular in the UK. They are everywhere :-)
Listen to Scotty and you wont even buy a new car anymore..
@@bencastro7802 for Scotty the only good car is his Toyota Cellica.
Does it have automatic engine start/stop? I didn't notice a disable button. Great review.
Yes it does. The push button is not located behind the steering wheel, better than that it’s in the middle, easier to access
7:20 you’ll find the button, beside the USB ports
Can you see the speed screen with polarized sunglasses?
Very nice 👍👍👍
Is nissan rogue available now in the philippine?

Coming from a Subaru fan? YIKES.
I like the new body style/interior.

Huh? It should have Propilot 2.0 meaning full hands free on some roads??
Nissan awesome
I like the design, it needs a more powerful engine.
It’s a practical suv not a urus lol

Yes it is
I thought this was going to look a lot more premium

Yes after I can spend more time with it, I’ll make one of those videos. Not sure when I’ll be able to drive it again but hopefully soon!

unless they fix their continuously vulnerable transmissions there is no point in just updating interiors and exteriors.

I’m planning to do one of those videos if I can get ahold of one for a week, so hopefully soon!
they need to change the key, looks so cheap! come on Japanese!
"Divorced" headlights I think are the worst design ever. All of them, including this one. Sure, it's unique. But I'd never buy a vehicle with them. 🤢
It all started with the Nissan Juke
They aren’t my favorite either but not a deal breaker for me at all. Since there is no perfect vehicle it’s just a matter of what you can live with or not. For me the deal breaker is the CVT.
Funner...
ugly front end Nissan engineer has to be fired out
Still a Nissan basically cheap plastic crap that will not hold up over time.
Wrong!!!

Plastic fantastic!
This interior is absolutely amazing! This have better quality materials than the RAV4 or CR-V
