Its because they don't want your messages to be deleted to be able to dox you in case they ever feel the need to. Or just sell your private information. The creator of discord is known to have sold user data of his previous company he created. Literally fuck discord. I can't wait for the new Team speak to come out..

The first step was to download undiscord but I forgot to download the script which was greasy fork. Simple mistake I made and saw others with the same problem, hope it helps.

Discord has this thing where it won’t let you delete too quickly so the program slows down to comply and not get you in trouble while still going as fast as allowed. You just need to leave your computer open and let it run in the background. It would have taken me weeks by hand.

I fixed the 401 error for myself. What was happening was for some reason Google was autofilling the token ID and the "before a message" part so it was searching for things it can't find This is probably a Chrome unique issue, but make sure it's not autofilling information in any of the drop down areas

They can see you deleting your message if they are in the same DM at that time. The messages are deleted and can not be recovered according to DISCORD. The other user will only see their messages after you run the script. You do have a risk that the other person can use a Screen Shot Tool to save what you typed before you had the chance to delete. no, discord has an rate limit, meaning it will only let you do a certain things so often. Speeding up discord servers. The more messages the longer it will take - atleast you can sit away from ur device or computer.

Yes, i've used it for a few years now. It is open source, so you can see that it does not do aynthing other than deleting messages. No info is stored. You CAN get banned by discord for using this script, if you dont know what you're doing, since it is against their TOS. But you're most likely going to be fine
I am going to try this once I am once because of a developer called JeremyDevs and DarkStarsgaming broke ToS multiple times and have now banned me in the server. They did this because I exposed him about this behavior so It would be best to easily delete any history I had with these terrible people.
