I just wanna point something out about the Bug Hunter badge. I feel like another reason so few people have it is because even if you did send in a bunch of bugs that you could reproduce, and you did send enough to get the badge, sometimes they just dont give it to you. I literally sent in so many bugs on iOS Discord in 2018-2019 but I never got the badge, so I just left cause the badge is quite literally a lie. The closest thing Discord ever did to acknowledge my bugs I sent in was I had an issue on iOS where changing channels crashed the app 90%~ of the time, and it had nothing to do with whats in the channel (I tested on 2 iPhones and one iPad on the same iOS version, and it kept crashing. And also tested with channels with videos/images, spam text or no content at all) and like legit 5 min after I send in my proof of this crash it got fixed as a new update. Thats the closest thing to ever happen, but I never recieved my badge after countless bug reports on iOS. Quite silly :)
@@BreadOW I did report a ton of bugs. But they said to give out the role to any type of bug as long as it wasnt a one time bug. Thats why I gave an example of a bug they ended up fixing, but they still never gave me the badge. I think I sent in over 20 bugs or so lmaoo
If they were easy to reproduce bugs, there's a chance Discord was already aware of it or a bunch of others reported them before you. I'd assume it's a first come first serve like most bug bounty programs.
I had no idea the early supporter badge was so rare. I know dozens of people who have it. Including me. I thought its the most common badge after active nitro
@internet admiral asn 1)im not « protecting the rarity of those badges » idgaf about how rare a PNG on a discord profile is, I was just contesting your argument which isn’t an argument of authority 2) you just.. don’t know how to calculate probabilities do you??? To calculate the odd of an event happening X times with a sample size of N and a probability of P, we use the binomial distribution (simple theorem learnt in highschool), instead of just putting X to the power of N which is just ridiculous.. (think about it with just a bit of logic, 52000^350 is an immensely high number, whereas having 4 1/52000 events occurring in a sample size of 350 person is yes, pretty rare, but far from being impossible (probably in the realm of 1/1 million, I’ll probably do the maths if you still doubt))
@internet admiral asn oh and I have no clue how you came to the « 52000^350 » which has 0 BASIS AT ALL?! Even calculating the odds of this event happening 4 times to a single person, you’d have P = 1/52000^4 which is a very low chance but still much higher than your absolutely incoherent result
Cool video, actually got the Early Supporter Badge since I joined 2016. Almost got a HypeSquad one too :( All in one I miss some thing about the early Discord Times, it seemed like they were connected closer to the community, but I guess that just comes with this immense growth Discord has behind it.
Man, I was so pissed when I got moved from Hypesquad events to just a house. I had the badge for maybe 2 months before being knocked down to this and it feels extremely unfair. That application does take some time to do, and you have to actually put thought into what you write.
Hypesquad balance has significantly more variations, as the house has won every single digital event ran by discord since the start of the program. from rigt to left, there's variations for the king of the hat game release & competition in 2019, the discord snowsgiving event in 2018 & the 2019 discord pride event.
Early Verified Developer Badge really is a bad decision. Those around me who got it had absolutely nothing to do with development and they still managed to get it because they own some small/average servers. They should've made a forum for devs and they could obtain the badge there, not on discord profile. Hypesquad on another hand was such a cool idea. It was at first a supposed secret server where only a few people were in and the badge actually was a cool flex. After it got popular though, they randomly decided to remove it from everyone and then give it to all users... Which is a bad idea. Only the event people got to keep it I believe. It's really dumb how they removed it. Makes me wonder why they kept Early Developer Badge now.
@internetadmiralasn601 The "75 REAL" server part is the easy part for server owners due to partnership and stuff like that. Even the discord community was creating some servers to help each other in order to obtain the badge. So I highly doubt what you're saying. They probably wandered an eye on the applications and randomly accepted it because like I said if that was the case then there wouldn't been thousands of people(including a few friends of mine that has absolutely nothing to do with development) obtaining it + selling it on blackmarket. Doesn't sound right. Also wdym they didn't keep it? The badge still exists, they cleary did keep it.
@internetadmiralasn601 I mean of course it's one of the most difficult badges to obtain for a regular person with little to no connections in between discord servers. But like I said, if you were an owner of a server then you could have your way pretty easily. They should've gone with some system like the bug hunter badges. Reviewing bots in a community then giving them a badge, maybe.
Wow I had no idea the early supporter badge was that rare. I've been on discord since 2015 so I knew I was an OG, but I waited until late 2017 to get nitro and just kinda assumed that a lot of other people had done the same before me.

discord could very easily take advantage of badge goblins like with the bug report badge, just by tricking them into helping discord as a whole via greedy rewards
As a partnered server owner since the introduction of the Partner program many moons ago, it's sorta annoying that you don't automatically get the Nitro early adopter badge, since having Nitro for free from the beginning apparently doesn't count for the badge 😅 Don't think there was anything you could even pay for back then as a Partner since there were no Nitro tiers or boosts, etc.

let's not forget overtime the rarity goes up as the number of Discord accounts increase, and some of those w/ the early supporter badge get deleted/terminated (the badge is technically still there on such accounts since badges/profile flags don't reset on deleted accounts, but no one is able to use it, so it's effectively wasted).
I'm an early supporter and didn't erven realize that it was this rare. Dang. Supported Discord just a few months back in 2016 and I suppose that was enough to grant it.
It's not "impossible" to get partnered on Discord, I was staff in a server that was an average hang out and chill servers which had very active chats and it got partnered.
The other requirement not mentioned which only appears if a server fails it, is not being flagged by trust and safety Which Discord actually checks first, and if your community fails that, it doesn't bother calculating the rest of the stats for as long as the flag stands. An example of that is actually w/ the BetterDiscord community server, they permanently have such flag, so they are blocked permanently from applying for Discord partner.
I just wanted to learn of all the badges. Basically, you have to be an ancient account with a godlike being that's lucky enough to get all of these badges. And with an impossible to hack account.
weirdly enough, i had gotten nitro at the time within that time frame, I had tried it out for only a month just to get the feel of it; but I never got the early supporter badge. Could be because I needed to have it for more than a month, never really looked into it until now learning about it lol.
I have the HypeSquad Events badge. Didn't know how rare it was but it does make sense. There's sooooooo many people trying to steal my account, it's unreal.
Oh boy what bot would it be? If I were to make a discord bot, it would be one of those joke bots that tries to track dumb shit like who said vore and shit
This is one of the hypesquad houses released as part of the hypesquad "online tier" in 2018. this badge is obtainable via the in-app hypesquad quiz. depending on your answers, you can obtain any of one of the three hypesquad house badges, You can only have one hypesquad house badge at a time. During the 2019 pride event, prismatic versions of all three hypesquad house badges were teased. about 60% of discord users have a hypesquad house badge. Out of those 60%, Bravery & brilliance have a similar amount of member, but both have less than balance. the badge itself provides no perks, but historically there have been online events and competitions ran by discord it's business partners to provide awards to the winning hypesquad house, usually accompanied by a variation on the badge for the winning house.
that comment about people trying to steal early supporter badge accounts was actually true lmao. not recently but used to get a lot of dms of people trying to steal my login
To be honest though, if I see a discord staff member... I'm definitely treating them different because I'll constantly be wondering how good it is to work there
...and when i talk to some peoples on discord it seems like i converse with npc from an ancient game. that one is so funny and true at the same time it's almost terrifying
I have a few of those badges. Early supporter, Nitro sub, Server boost 6 month, early verified bot developer, active developer and the hypesquad bravery
Edit in the video: Due to the discord update that totally changed handles, you can get a small badge with a hashtag on it by switching to the new handle type.
there are currently about 4750 people in the discord partners server, so the number of people with the badge would be a bit more. Also TIL I apparently have too many badges for anyone to try to buy my account, I think I got one once though.
The Discord Partner program is impossible to get into. I have 70k+ members & its based around my YT Channel, but they won't accept me. When I reach out they won't tell me why :(
I thought the early supporter badge was way more common, I mean Discord was popular even then, there were probably millions of users. Somebody once offered to buy my account for $150 because they wanted my early supporter badge, I assumed it was a scam but there's no way I would sell my account even if it was real. Looking on Google though, people buying early supporter accounts is apparently a thing, more for like $50 than $150, but maybe they've gone up in value, who knows, or maybe that guy was just desperate.
As someone with the Hypesquad Events badge which was given for free if you signed up for a Discord event last time, I can confirm that the Hypesquad Events server is dead.
I myself have a Hypesquad events badge, and this is the first time i found out how i got this badge, and i am still confused because i remember trying to apply but was too lazy to do the video you had to make to join so i left it at that
one thing that wasn't mentioned in the video, if you applied for the lowest tier of the hypesquad back during the hypesquad 1.0 times (where you actually had to apply for that tier as well, whereas that is now open to everyone as it's basically the balance brilliance & bravery tier of hypesquad, repping discord wherever), you actually got into the secret server and got the events badge as well. that tier didn't require a video either. (it's also where I got my hypesquad events badge from).
they should just add more badges since there's a lot more than be done. Like streaming to a group for a length of time, there are activities that can be done and there can be badges to go with them. it would give some incentive to do those activities. Even if it doesn't give you anything special, like free nitro
Moral of the story: Don't try to get any of the super rare badges unless you want people to track you down, steal your account, and resell the account for money. I've had that happen to me multiple times when I still had the ES and EVD badges.

I do but none of my friends do
simultaneously? no, the 3 hype badges camt all be together
simple answer: no
It probably actually possible

If you have a life, then you can't get all of them at once
I swear more people have early supporter that just doesn't sound right
I remember the original hypesquad. I remember having that badge back then before they changed it
Didn't realise that having the Early Support Badge was THAT rare. Guess I'm glad I got that now hahah
The one who get's all the badges is going to be the next Discord final boss
Thanks, NTTS!! Your videos are very informative. ❤❤
you definitely arent farming likes and watched the video

my favorite server booster badge at 1:47 is the Square Server Booster Badge
I have the early supporter badge... I didn't even know it was THAT rare.. Crazy.
yeah me neither untill I kept getting offered hundreds of dollars for my account
same, lol
Same I have it
I have early supporter as well, selling mine for 50$
let's not forget overtime the rarity goes up as the number of Discord accounts increase, and some of those w/ the early supporter badge get deleted/terminated (the badge is technically still there on such accounts since badges/profile flags don't reset on deleted accounts, but no one is able to use it, so it's effectively wasted).
The End Is Unique
i remember getting my hypesquad badge thru an application, it used to be special man ;(
Yeah it was special
Hypesquad brilliance has no differences form bravery, besides obvious visual ones.
The other requirement not mentioned which only appears if a server fails it, is not being flagged by trust and safety
Which Discord actually checks first, and if your community fails that, it doesn't bother calculating the rest of the stats for as long as the flag stands.
An example of that is actually w/ the BetterDiscord community server, they permanently have such flag, so they are blocked permanently from applying for Discord partner.
Why would BetterDiscord want to partner lol
@@XandarYTwhy'd they get the flag at all
I just wanted to learn of all the badges.
The Early Supporter badge is PERFECT
1:14 Haha, I'm from the future and they really did give us Free Nitro!! 🥟✨
I have the HypeSquad Events badge. Didn't know how rare it was but it does make sense. There's sooooooo many people trying to steal my account, it's unreal.

the more badges you get in discord, the sadder you are as a person

I like how no text to speech uses an alt account cuz he wants a clean discord profile lol
that comment about people trying to steal early supporter badge accounts was actually true lmao. not recently but used to get a lot of dms of people trying to steal my login
I had no clue I had the rarest discord badge... that's crazy
I remember when hypesquad was invite only
Here is how you can get a very cool badge AND earn money: Go to university, get a degree in computer engineering, and apply to join Discord.

-Dinglenut Jr. (Casual badge worshiper)
I now feel a bit better for having the early supporter Badge
If you have one of the badges I'm blocking you.
@@Juplay_FV interesting, i did indeed join some kind of server which i left after lol

they should just add more badges since there's a lot more than be done. Like streaming to a group for a length of time, there are activities that can be done and there can be badges to go with them. it would give some incentive to do those activities. Even if it doesn't give you anything special, like free nitro
