- Have a lot of messages to delete or clear in a DM or a public server? Well, instead of leaving them there, you can remove them. This method is the fastest around and doesn't require any manual labour. Much quicker than AutoHotKey and manual methods. This is a simplified version of my previous explanation. This DOES work for people who've blocked you, or you've blocked them.

@@thedarktruth132 Go to "Interval of Messages" and the other settings to make sure that they're blank if youre trying to delete everything, for some reason it autofilled my email as the "before this message" filter which meant it wasn't starting. What is the exact error youre getting?

does undiscord delete messages from one chat or only one?
@@redlocksgay im unsure of what your asking but it will automatically delete as many messages as you want, in any channel or dm you want but i believe it only works one chat at a time

Chances are they've got a few fields filled when they shouldn't be. I found that to be my problem when I tried. Was it the same for you?

For anyone having issues with the trash bin not appearing, you need to enable developer mode on browser settings -> extensions -> manage extensions -> top right of the screen.

As a server manager, this is very helpful. Bots can only delete up to 14 days ago (discord limitation). Having this allows me to delete other people's messages of they get banned and remove all traces of them.
How can u tell bots to delete it please i need it
@@Noxii300 Moderation bots allow you to delete messages. This script will not work with bots. You have to have a user account to use this script.
It'll leave behind a bunch of schizophernic chats of people talking to themselves tho

When you're banning someone, you can have Discord delete all their messages.

One thing to note to people having issues CHECK EVERYTHING your browser does have a tendency to fill in info such as your email or password in the interval of messages.

For anyone who is coming here because they have been using this for awhile and all of a sudden it stopped working, me too. I'm not saying this will work for you but looking at what other people have said it worked for them and also worked for me. The newest version, 5.2.1 seems to be what is causing all of the bugs and errors, so if you go into it's history and downgrade to the last version, 5.2.0 it should work again. hope this helps someone.

How do i find the old history
to find the version history and like old versions i followed the tutorial in this video until where it actually has you download the script (1:56 timestamp) and above the word undiscord you can tab over to history and it’ll let you “downgrade” to older versions in there
I have a question Troublechute hasn't answered: is the "Trashbin > Wipe Archive > Upload the .json file" technique a replacement/alternative to the "Trashbin > click [me] > Delete" method? The video doesn't clarify.

I'm so happy TH-cam removed the ability to view dislikes. Now I have to either read 30 comments to know this is legitamate or risk it and unknowingly download a trojan virus.

Hi, I managed to delete 328 recent messages, even when i scroll all the way up and try to delete with messageID "After", it loads the 30 seconds and doesnt start deleting, any help?

Some tips to deal with these issue:
status 401: scroll down to advance settings, then fill in the authorization token.
status 400: check the message interval and date interval and make sure to fill them right, or just empty them out.

FOR ANYONE WONDERING WHY IT DONT WORKING YOU HAVE TO ENABLE DEVELOPER MODE FOR THE EXTENSION ON YOUR BROWSER (settings -> extensions -> manage extensions -> top right of the screen)

This does not work if you are in regular mode, use in incognito. Worked for me in incognito

Note:
You can't delete messages in channels where you have no permissions to view them.
You can't delete messages in servers where you've sent messages, but are no longer a part of.
Wish I knew about this little tool beforehand, I'd have definitely wiped all of my message from a server I left in bad blood recently. Oh well I'm installing it anyway for future use cases :P

Thank you! Finally something that works. And you explained it PERFECTLY. Everywhere else doesn't. And it never worked properly since the last update I did a while back. I was using violent monkey and it was totally broken. This worked well, EXCEPT for the fact that it just STOP. Not rate limiting me, just stops. So I keep having to sit ehre...and click start over and over again.
It's time comsuning but worth it.
I have a question, this "Trashbin > Wipe Archive > Upload index.json" technique is basically an alternative way to do the same thing as "Trashbin > [me] > Delete"? Upon activated will it delete all messages from just the selected one-on-one conversation or all convos from all chats? I'm a bit confused. Does one need to be performed after the other?
it deletes all messages from selected one-on-one chat
works fine, but if adjust how fast i want the messages deleted, it only does a certain amount then stops. If i dont change it, it does all the messages just at a slower pace

Just a note for anyone getting a status 400! Error and youre using chrome, try deleting your saved passwords for discord. For whatever reason it auto fills in the keys with that info so it wont work. Worked like a charm after, this code is legit and is amazing :)

This might be late, but I had the same issue, turns out my browser is autofilling some fields of the tools without me knowing, specifically I had to remove Interval field part, then it worked perfectly fine.

I followed the steps downloaded the chrome extension and undiscord but even though it's on there's no trash icon appearing in my discord
Unfortunately it doesn't work for deleting messages from Discord threads, only from linear chats.

it has an issue with browser accounts password autofill, go to advanced settings, delete the authorization token because it auto-filled one of your passwords, then press fill again, after that go to messages interval, you will find your browser also auto-filled one of your passwords there so delete it

Alright I got it to work, however It only deletes about 30 msgs at a time no matter what the settings are....

Step 1 after you add everything - go to settings an exertions and "allow in incognito.. then open this all in incognito and it begins actually working.
