Started getting this error a week ago and ordered the sensor from Amazon for 12.00 US dollars and it’s working like a charm. This video was of great help! Thanks washy washy!👍👍👍
Found the video, followed it, biked out to get the sensor from a local dealer, installed it and we are back in business. Feels like a victory. Thanks for the very clear directions.
If I could LIKE this video anymore, I would! This is absolutely spot on and worked perfectly. $20 sensor saved me $300 plus easy! Great step by step instructions! Thank you so much for putting this together!
This worked! My fingers are a little raw from trying to get that big electrical piece disconnected from the sensor but after applying a little leverage with a flathead screwdriver, it popped out. Everything else was super easy. My machine is running again. $12, 30 min and this guy’s step-by-step video and I’m done. Thank you!
Worked like a charm, the hardest part was sliding my washer in/out of the tight space it is in. Took me about 15 minutes to switch the sensor out.. Cost 11 bucks for the part Amazon. Thanks for instructions.
Thanks for the video! $14 for the part on Amazon and was a super quick and easy fix. We’re in a remote area so getting a tech is expensive! Thanks so much!!
Thank you so much for this video! I fixed my LG washer that was suffering the same issue, but I wouldn’t have had the confidence to do it without this very helpful video. I ordered the sensor from Amazon for $13. Then I watched your video a couple more times, and using basic tools I already had, replaced the sensor myself. To anyone wondering if this can be done, I say, if I can do it, you can do it too.
Thank you! I followed your video and fixed my washing machine!!! Cost me $35. Unfortunately my washing machine didnt have the back panel in the middle like yours, so i had to take the whole back off. Mine was a 2014 WD14071SD6. 👍
Just finished following your instructions and it worked perfectly on my LG Tromm washer (p/n WM2075CW). Had a company come troubleshoot and quote me $650 for the same repair. After seeing your video though, I spent $9 on the sensor (p/n 6501KW2002A) and it took 45 minutes to install. Great video, thank you!!
Thank You! The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I purchased replacement on Amazon and disassembled/assembled and then ran the spin cycle and it worked as it should. I did review another video that was not as well made for DYI but did provide an element to look out for...the splines may be damaged by heavy and/or uncentered loads (similar to thread damage). Again, i greatly appreciate this DYI video.

Mine showed that code for a while now, mostly after an unbalanced load during the spin cycle. Usually the reset, untangle items, or remove some weight fixed it. Now, the code was there to stay so going to replace the sensor today. 17mm, got it. 10mm ??? Who has a 10mm socket? LOL Those suckers disappear so fast. If you buy a new set it is missing by the time you get home from the hardware store. Someplace there is a pile of socks and 10mm sockets having a secret party.
