I always sucked at rhythm patterns- very helpful. My teacher would clap along with me, play with me anything to have fun and not be stressful to learn rhythm and timing.
Hi Michelle, I’m glad you found this lesson helpful. I have some new stuff that I’m working on right now and I’ll continue the level idea :-) Say hello to Australia for me.
You’re welcome. Don’t get too frustrated. If you find them difficult, you can always come back to them and reach out if you have questions. Happy music making
Thank you for your kind words. Yes notation is an intense study. Sometimes learners can get overwhelmed when we combine the two concepts. Make goals, smaller and perhaps I can provide a basic video or notation :-) let me know what you think??
Very well done. I am bookmarking this one and I'll work at it. Great lesson for demonstrating the rhythm patterns, and brilliantly sneaky for slipping in those inversions. And maybe you can do a dive into the theory of this song? Are the inversions used to create the melody? I'm not ready to write songs yet, but why not get some pointers?
Hi there! I do have PDFs available for this specific video I have to double check. I believe you might’ve purchased one of my rhythm pattern PDFs, and I thank you greatly!

Timing is experience, but if we continue to be cognizant we can improve the feel of music
Thanks, this is one of the areas I need to work at. I love the way you've increased the level of difficulty from beginner to intermediate.
