The CBR has a longer gear ratio! This is easy to change on V4R! I love this new CBR but I still get the V4R

I always give a lot of time watching superbikes compete with power and innovation year by year. Way back then Honda fireblade was a comfortable weaker leader bike; now I can't believe that it beats a monster Ducati Panigale V4 R. Amazing massive step up Honda.

Damn that CBR is no joke up top. They really stepped it up big time with this machine. How do your airboxes typically look after running those P08 F185 filters in your bikes? I'm debating running that instead of the regular P08 for street use.
Bikes are very similar except HONDA STILL making a lot of torque in 6th gear with the new set up…WOW

I think it's the aerodynamics, the higher the top speed the faster the Honda is. It's just a more slippery bike.

Just wait for the next blade.. This is the first generation triple R, the V4R is an entirely different bike than the 1100 V4. If you gave Honda a few months to find another 30-40 ponies with a little engine tweaking from the triple R engine I bet they would find 50 more available.

THAT Honda CBR 1000RR-R "in that configuration" looks to be a 200 mph Street bike. It was pulling away from U as You were going at least 185 mph. That's pretty impressive.

CBR is the way to go. It's faster, cheaper, easier maintenance and cheaper parts... what other reasons you need?

after watching this video for the third time trying to analyze why 650 lost on the v4r and I have the answer! If you watch the video during one of the rear video angles, you see all the metal exposed on the rear tire on how worn it is. he too a wheel size loss of a minimum of 12 mm. On the overall with top speed it equates to a min of 4mph difference with that rear chewed up rear tire. if you would run that race again with fresh tires on both bikes, you will win every time! and im willing to put my money were my mouth is at!lol
If you moan about weight differences then I am sure the turbos in certain bikes, CF wheels and ceramic bb should make up for it. Weight differences and length cannot be used as an excuse continuously otherwise basketball should be a good alternative maybe for you.

Would you consider getting a 2021 MT10 for your next bike build? It's just a badass bike and it's super fast once blessed with a Sprint filter, Austin Racing exhaust (IMO), and tune ofcourse. I would love to see you put some Rotobox on it.

My V4 R has an issue where it doesn't accept the Cordona. We are trying to fix it at Ducati Detroit
