In this video i'll be giving you my review of the Huawei Nexus 6P. The Nexus 6P is the ultimate device for 2015 and 2016 and features the top of the line specs for a fraction of high end prices. The nexus 6P is packing a 5.7in 2560 x 1440P display that has Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 3gb of Ram. This phone is a monster especially for the bargain price of only $499. I have this phone and I can say it is truly the best phone I have ever had. I have had Samsung Note's, S5, S6, LG G4 and Nexus 6 and I am looking forward to holding on to this one for a long time to come. No complaints at all! Thanks for the great video!

Adam ftwin I don't really use Snapchat but I have heard a lot of people saying in general the Snapchat experience on Android isn't that great because the developer does not care about Android and mostly develops for IOS. I will say the camara on this phone is great and shouldn't have a problem with anything you throw at it.
That's good to hear, I'm using SC on my OnePlus one and its okay but I will agree that the developers need to get their act together with Android
@iTalkTech Hello! I plan to buy the Nexus 6P soon. How is the audio quality via the headphone jack? Is it crisp, clear and loud like most flagship phones? I have read on a lot of forums online that the quality and the loudness is below par compared to other flagships? Also do you face any issues with the audio jack either being too lose after plugging in or requiring too much force to plug it in?

Stellar video!!! I work in a very noisy environment. For incoming calls on on phones with dual front-facing speakers like the moto x style and nexus p, do both speakers operate, or does the incoming caller's voice only play through the top speaker by default? I'm just wondering if the powerful speakers on the Nexus 6p is going to make a difference on regular phone calls.

I'm upgrading from a galaxy s6 next week. can't wait to get this phone. I'm most excited about those front facing speakers. The price is good as well.
I am loving it, I got ride of my iPhone 6 for this, and I will never regret it. The display is incredible, the camera has many more functions (photos sphere, a better pano, auto blur background) It never lags because of the incredible 3gb ram and 810 snap. Touch ID always speedy, all in all this is like he says the Ferrari of smart phones. The only thing that is a down to it is the battery only last even with being on it alot, a full day. but this phone does have rapid charging which is a plus so it can charge with in 40 mins where as my iPhone took about 1 hr or maybe longer to fully charge
I have the N6P and the Iphone 6s Plus, both in 128gb models... I haven't used my iphone since I got the N6P. The N6P is much easier to hold, better screen, finger print sensor is much more accurate, and the phone is much faster for everyday tasks. The only thing the iphone does better is loading games, and seemingly a better graphics chip. Although software could be a factor in this too...
Anyone have had any problem with the speakers? Mine has a bad quality sound on loud......

+Zach Charlie I was using Tmobile on Half Brightness and am a moderate user, constantly checking emails, messages, and often searching the internet throughout the day.
+iTalkTech ur lucky, T-Mobile has the best service and also gets the best battery for ur device. I'm on cricket at around half brightness and I usually get around 3 hours and 30 minutes for sot with causual to moderately heavy usage

solid review. I love the phone as well. battery life is great too. lasts me a full day most days but you said you got 5 of screen on time? I get roughly 2-2.5 hours of screen on time ? does that sound right ?

+Juan Monterrosa I'm on my 3rd charge cycle right now. Today I was for about 12 hours on solid 4G, got a screen on time of 1:16h and I'm still on 72% battery which is quite good I would assume. All kinds of stuff syncing constantly like FB, google account, viber, whatsapp etc etc
+Spyros Theodoridis yeah I don't get near that. I use the phone on wifi and cellular. On and off throughout the day. My phone lasts me a full day everyday but like I said I only get about two and half hours SOT tops. So not sure what is going on at all. Just use the phone normally. Have two gmail accounts synced and that's it.

There wasn't really an issue with the Nexus 6p bending. I believe Max Lee did pretty well to show how strong the aluminium of it is
+Adam Nixon Yeah there wasnt an issue with the bending but there was a video that went viral of the phone. So i thought it would be important to put out that it didnt bend.

Have to say that this is the best phone I have ever owned. Only complaint I have to give is the soft aluminium which they used. I never use cases and never have any damage on the phone. Tried same with this phone and after one month full of scratches. Well I have a case now..

I'm waiting to see the S7. If it doesn't appear to be much better then this, I'm going for the 6P. After an AWFUL first try with ANdroid years ago, I got a Zenfone 2 in September. A lot better then it used to be, then after installing Nova Launcher, it's been borderline excellent. Still a few weird nags with ASUS's version of Android. I want to use Stock.
is this really better than the note 5? is camera really at least comparable? is it worth changing from note 5 to this?
Personally the Note 5 is on part with the Nexus 6P. I prefer the Note 5 camera just a little over the Nexus 6P. But in every other aspect they are essentially the same. So if you already have the Note 5 then their is no need to switch.

I have it and watch alot of TH-cam videos and my battery gets low fast.
Does the phone slow down or stutter at all when the battery is at a low percentage?
Yes it does, but just a little it's because the phone begins to limit the CPU that way it can last longer. But when it is not near the last few percentages of battery, it is very smooth with little to not stuttering or lag at all.

So, what do you think I should get? The Nexus 6P or the Galaxy S7 Edge? I love the stock android experience, front facing stereo speakers, and Google smartphones stay as fast as new ones for years. But the S7 Edge is definitely much more fast, Waterproofing(I can still live without it), MicroSD Slot(this is pretty good, but I can still live without if I buy 64GB model), it has best camera with best low light performance, and much more. What shall I get? I am really confused. Thanks :)

Love this phone but I would not describe the display as color accurate. And it is by no means a unique display since it's a Note5 display with a slightly lower bin.

Nexus 6p Graphite Black 64gb. Why will it have laggy performance? I don't think so pal. For somebody who doesn't change phones so frequently I believe it will last for 2-3 years at least without any problems at all

+Suchit Rajput No lags at all here. And I mean never. Previously I had an HTC One M8. Also, no lags at all. Between those I had an Oneplus 2. There were indeed lags on the OP2. But they were because of the buggy Oxygen OS which I never got used to. Never had an IPhone. Cause it restricts me too much. I couldn't ever imagine that I could not send a file to someone using Bluetooth for example. But to each their own I guess.

The average user isn't going to want to do that though, I have tweaked my audio to sound slightly better. But out of the box it is awful

I've said it before many times as have others I'm sure, why can't Samsung just release a phone with stock android? Slightly modify it for the extra features like the Moto x line of phones and put all the other s bollocks apps on the play store so people who want them can download them!
I like to root so I stay away from Samsung devices. Rooting irreversibly blows a fuse (Knox) and voids the warranty. I rma'd my first 6P that I dropped (protection plan) and I simply unrooted before I sent it in and all was well.

Taraz T I know who makes the display for the 6p because I have on and I always do my homework on a device before I buy one. There is a difference between the two. I also have a note 4 and I can see the difference. On the discription of the two one is Amoled and the note is a super Amoled
Vernon Warren As I literally just said, super amoled and amoled are the same. Samsung just calls it "super". Screens look different on every phone but the technology is all the same

+iTalkTech meh, the display disparity is pretty noticeable. I think what makes the note5's display a little better is the extra bit of punch to the colors and less color shifting when looking at it from an angle. Still they're pretty on par for the most part.

Huawei sent it over as a review unit. I was allowed to use it for a period of 2 months and to then return it. In order to keep it In pristine condition and to continue my good relationship with Huawei I did not want to remove any labels.
Tons of people will never remove any stickers. Like all those people who leave the retail stickers on laptops.
The best display on the market is on the Note 5 not this! :P

+Mike Hines no its not. the one on the 6p is more in tune with the amboled display on the note 4 not the note 5. the whites are warmer and it doesn't get as bright than the cleaner whites and much brighter display on the note 5. I have and love both phones but the displays are not the same.

Google already stated it was. Touchwiz is tuned for heavy saturation as default so it looks "brighter" despite it really just being very inaccurate colors. Therefore any difference you think you see is software based.

+Mike Hines amoled and super amoled are not the same. regardless of the colors the nexus 6p maxes out around 500 nits the note 5 on auto brightness goes over 700. this has nothing to do with color saturation. nothing wrong with the 6p screen it's beautiful, but they are definately not the same display. I own both and there are definately differences.

Fully optimized? Should be careful with the words you use buddy. Only fully optimized phone in the market are iPhones. Don't believe me play GTA on nexus 6p lags. I rest my case.
+Andrew Perry you said it correct efficiently and effectively "as possible." There's a difference between fully optimized as Apple is. That's an example of many apps. The key is that you can't optimize android apps for android devices because there are too many of them. That's why there are stutters and lag on android. Not just games and apps but also look at the ui. On my nexus 6 I would experience lag at times moving between the home screen. Remember Google launcher is ui app as well. Because of this there's optimization that needs to be worked on that's why there will never be a fully optimized android phone. Look at pictures and videos you have to use third party apps and links to send full quality videos and pictures with apple you have iMessage. You take a full quality video and picture hit send and boom it's sent. With android I don't miss using drop box and TH-cam to send videos and pictures full quality with out compressing the quality.what's the point in high res cam?
