      first, you are commenting on this page which means you are smart and curious. You are also aware that debt can be dangerous and third you are not listening to the other 98% of the population that has been conditioned to be harnessed to the debt sled the rest of their lives. For these reasons, I'll say you've got a darned good shot at getting yourself in reallty good shape. Get inspired, get fired up and set yourself truly free. You can do this. It won't be easy, but you can do it. My gut says you will...

    This is amazing accomplishment! Wish you both many blessings in the future. I see a lot of the comments trying to undermine the accomplishment by stating the amount of money the both of you make, and while that is helpful, it still takes a ton of sacrifice and discipline. Congratulations!

      Why would you say they are trying to undermine their accomplishment? Noting people are making hood incomes is not bad. Normally paying off debt requires an income higher than expenses which they are also implying. I just think they are not super impressed considering the income was also high!!! They made good incomes and could afford to pay their debts so it is not a surprise.

    • @Spladoinkal
      @Spladoinkal 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Caligula Mortgage is actually considered a liability not an asset. Reason is, even if you turn around and sell your house for higher than you bought it, good chance you spent that much in repairs along the way. A rental property mortgage IS an asset because the tenants' rent usually pays for not only the mortgage AND repairs, but STILL puts money back into the property owner's pocket.

How would you react if they had been a white couple and somebody posted about “White Excellence”? You would think that’s pretty unnecessary…right? 🤷🏾‍♂️

    Miss out on opportunities when you focus in debt and taxes and bills and life
    Sound investments should be made when opportunities arise. Crypto that are pennies canbe invested at a few dollars per month. Or a real estate deal is a deal .....
    So the key is balance
    In thise four years whi knows what opportunities was missed
    Bitcoin was 9 cents at ine time. And i bet there is one oerson who saw the kight but wasnto busy dealing with life problems
