    Man, thank you. Best video ever. Replaced damaged bumper Saturday and this was a huge part of my repair. Easy removal thanks to very straight forward and detailed instructions. I used it constantly for reference. Much better than the manufacturer diagrams

      @@bossadamsgarage bro, you saved me a ton of $$$$! Body shop was trying to charge an arm and a leg for labor for just the bumper replacement charging highest retail OEM prices for aftermarket bumper and headlight on the right passenger side. I followed your video, i still reference it for the clips and bolts to make sure they were in the right place (of course I screwed it up lol, watched the video again and used it to find my way back). I replaced the bumper cover with a factory bumper and got a headlight for almost half what they were charging, and best part is…didnt take long! I cant believe how shops try and stretch their margins. Its legal robbery. Thanks again man, love to learn new things, and better yet, love to stick it to overpriced mechanics charging 8 hours of labor for something that took me 30-40 min. Could not be more grateful for guys like you putting out videos like this for us 🙏🏽

    Great vid. Thank you. My wife hit a deer and busted the passenger light housing. I planned on only replacing the busted one and do the driver side later (it looks like yours did) but seeing as I have to drop the bumper, I decided to replace both housings. I'm glad I watched your video first !

    If screws won't break loose sometimes you can tap the screwdriver with a hammer to help break them loose. Thanks for the video.

    Hey, I was wondering if you think it's possible to replace the front upper grill on a 2011 Toyota Corolla without removing the front bumper. If so, which screws and pins do I need to remove? I heard it's possible by removing the four Philips screws and a couple of pins and then gently pry it open. Is that an option?

    • @bossadamsgarage
      @bossadamsgarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It could be possible, I personally have never tried it due to it being very easy to bust those pins. I would say just to be careful, I would remove the bumper just so you can get the proper angle on the pins and tabs

    I'm looking at doing this on a 2010 right now. If you don't mind me asking, how have the new lights held up to hazing again?

    • @bossadamsgarage
      @bossadamsgarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nice! I installed these in December of 2020 and with it now being basically March of 2022 I still have no hazing and they still look really good. If you haven't already switched the bulbs, I would 100% switch them to LEDs. You'll need an anti-flicker harness for the high beams but other than that they make the car look and function better. Thanks for checking out the channel!

    Hi I heard you say your replacing the bumper. Where did you get it from? I am in need of a new one. Thanks!

    • @bossadamsgarage
      @bossadamsgarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      So I have looked at a few options. #1 is that I just buy an already primed bumper online. #2 is that I go somewhere like pull-a-part and I find a decent bumper in good shape. The issue I've ran into with both options is the getting it painted portion. Every shop around me wants $600-$800 to paint the bumper and I am not going to pay for that. If I had the supplies Id do it myself but I don't. So, long story short, the new bumper has been put on hold for the time being.

    • @bossadamsgarage
      @bossadamsgarage  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I appreciate it! No, not yet. I've had it quoted but it was a little too pricey for my taste. So, for now, we're keeping the speed hole bumper lol

    • @bossadamsgarage

      Yes. This removal and replacement works for models 2009-2013.

  • @thestache4606
    @thestache4606 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    chrisfix has a video on restoring headlights. 2000 grit sandpaper (wet sanded) and clear spraypaint will do the trick. But if you have $300 lying around then buy new. Takes an hour either way

    • @bossadamsgarage
      @bossadamsgarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you can use that method, however, the issue will come back. New headlight housings for this model car will typically run you $120-$150 at most.

    • @thestache4606
      @thestache4606 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bossadamsgarage It isn't permanent by any means but only needing to do it once a year with the same sheet of sandpaper seems to be the most efficient way of saving money while keeping headlights clear
