Just got a brand new S24 FE (graphite color only) via Cricket Wireless here in the USA. Cricket is an MVNO that utilizes AT&T towers so there is plenty of coverage. The cost was only $99 for the device and $120 for 2 months of Cricket's "unlimited" plan. So $219.99 and you must stay on Cricket for 6 months. You don't have to keep using the $60/month "unlimited" plan after the first 2 months. So total price? $219.99 + $120 (assuming you go for Cricket's $30/month plan for the final 4 months) = *$339.99, not bad.*
This is the best phone you can get for $700. Went from iphone 14 pro to S23 FE and didn't regret it.

You said it! I do not need all the bells and whistles that the S24U has and seldom ever shoot video and have no need for the S-Pen or it's hefty price tag! I personally love the larger screen even though it's only 1080p, but I do not game much and video consumption the display is plenty. It's well known the Exynos 2400e is no slouch and has yet to stumble/lag on me or heat up as the S23FE did with it's SD G1 CPU. The S23FE was a very disappointing phone and the bezels WERE an issue. For my needs, the S24FE does everything I throw at it and has not stumbled yet. I surf, consume some videos, emails, trade stocks, check my camera feeds while away, pay bills, control my smart home, and MANY other things and I get well over a day and a half even making a few calls and numerous texts. As YOU stated, it's a solid slab-phone with damn near all the bells and whistles of the higher-end S24 models including DEX, which is a must for me while at work. I pretty much only use the 50Mp camera, which is good and can always crop to get a bigger image with little loss in image quality. I go as far to say the S24FE is the "best" FE since the S20FE as the S21FE was rather blah IMO.
Since different people have different needs, so Fe fits for certain ppl needs.
Like my country, Malaysia, the price of S24FE & S24+ were RM1000+ difference, and it's a huge amount for some people. We all knew the S24+ was far better, but when come to budget, we need to reconsider.
It's like some ppl always complain about the usage of lcd screen on tablet, but for me I like LCD screen very much, as my eyes feels comfortable on it.

in my honest opinion whether you have flagships, midrangers or entry level phones it doesn't matter. just buy the phone that suits you the most.

Out of all my phone I love this one the most. It feels good runns good and sounds good.
Recently got the US version and it's pretty solid.

I don't think phone companies can do anything more concerning the hardware of their devices. They have reached their peak.
Other people life went waste comparing mobile . Firstly see ur mobiles works and does day to day activities . S24 fe is excellent

Love the big screens, I've been waiting for bigger phones to come back, before next purchase.
We have both the S23, The S23 fe and just picked up a new S24 fe yesterday and so far it's working fine. A lill larger, but it is slimmer and have thinner bezzels than my S23fe. It also has sharper corners. Connectivity is okay, Speed is excellent. Battery life should be good too. It needs a few charges first. I have the singe SIM, Cdn version. Thanks for the video.

Brilliant review. Thank you. Did you work out how to remove/hide app icon labels? I can't see how to do it through the phone settings or on the good lock app.
Samsung should add sd card slot and headphpne jack and should make it compete with the likes of oneplus, honor, vivo and oppo( upper midranges)

Majority of my subscribers are likely interested in flagships (S24, S24 Ultra, Fold etc). So, they probably don't want the S24 FE.
The title is to say, you don't want this phone. Because they likely don't, BUT it could be the phone you need to have.

can you please tell me how long it lasts around your estimation during light usage and heavy usage because i’m thinking about buying this phone but im not sure
Hmm it's weird because in my use (light use) I only need to charge once and the battery lasts until the next day, and when the heavy use, the battery lasts for 13 hours.
My advice is that you should try yourself instead of having to hear other people's opinions because surely people's tastes are different, the only thing that makes me think before buying this is the chipset is exynos where I prefer snapdragon because I like emulators (custom adreno turnip driver), but finally I tried to buy this and did not regret a little bit, the phone does not overheat too much, the battery is lasts long atleast in my usage, this is the best all rounder phone in my opinion
Galaxy AI is free until the end of 2025. I would imagine itll become a subscription service which i absolutely will subscribe to.

As someone who barely ever uses the camera, I'd like a phone that's durable (maybe all metal); high quality build; long lasting battery; small like the s24 with a great gorilla glass screen...better use of the camera money for my use case 😅

I just ordered this from spectrum at $549. Based on the specs and reviews, it's far better than the S23 FE from last year. This S24 FE is replacing my Moto Edge 2024.

I think exynos is just good, not perfect, as well as not bad at all. It is just good. Who is keep saying exynos is bad they are slave to the marketing Why they don't hate from iPhone 16 (60 hz, ufs 2.0) or Google pixel 9 xl pro whatever ( tensor ) becouse they're just slave to the marketing, that is it.
I dunno about the new exynos but i sure do know the older gen exynos is rougher than an iPhone xs or 11 cuz i am using one more precisely exynos 2100 which i was excited for and believed samsung for once and guess what still got disappointed

I remember they hyped the 2100 and 2200 so much and in the end they failed to deliver, and this kinda make you hesitant to get another exynos variant even if its good enough now.
People need to have realistic expectations. I picked up a 24 FE as a secondary phone for $5.00 monthly. Steal of a deal. If you think the ultra will increase your productivity, success and happiness, then more power to you.
I went from an s21 to this. Perhaps it's because I have smaller hands but I miss the form factor of the s21. I might bring it back so I can get the s24 instead

Either this or the A55 will do the job. A55 has the same sized main camera as the S24 FE so would provide similar results and it's much cheaper.

I love this phone the samsung galaxy 24fe best phone i've ever had before this.I had the google pixel 7a the battery swelled up so I had to get this phone I traded in my old phone which is my samsung galaxy s21 and only paid 350 for Samsung Galaxy 24fe after the trade samsung one ui better than Google.
Stock android only thing I don't like about samsung is that they have too much bloatwear where you can't delete a couple of apps. Google was only good in the camera's apartment.
And no bloatwear but the samsung galaxy 24fe way better for gaming and longer battery love the bigger screen

Click on the texting app in your app management section in the settings of your phone. That's where you'll find a way to change the tone you hear when a text message comes in

After a trade in i got mine for $450, after a few weeks I think its a great phone. My last phone was the S20FE so I think it was a decent upgrade. My wife got the S24.

Just upgraded recently from s10 to s24fe and i like it. They started not supporting the s10 this year. Apps started not working properly, phone was getting progressively buggy. I'm guessing the s20 will have similar problems next year. Probably a good time to upgrade
The s24+ you can buy for $574 of eBay and on discounted price, you will be able to find s24+ brand new for around $749 or even cheaper. At $450, this is an amazing phone, and the a56 should become the s24 fe, but unfortunately, they try to keep their a5× alive. The a5× doesn't fit in it was great at $349, but once you hit $450-$500, they need to scrap out.

plus camera video will suck moto no 4k and 8k and yes I tell everybody this, that not all 1080p recording are the same cause of that processor.
S24 FE is the flagship of the middle class.. You can even buy two or three of them for the price of one real flagship and your pocket will not be shaken by an earthquake..

Great review! But I’m surprised you noticed such a difference with the cameras, It feels like 50% of reviewers take issue with the cameras and 50% say they are almost on par with the S24

Thanks for posting this. I want a new phone because certain apps don't work on my s10e anymore but even the price point in this s24fe seems exorbitant (it's 679 currently where I am), while the a55 is half priced. I might go the cheaper route for now and buy a more interesting phone later.

Unless your phone doesnt cover your daily needs anymore, i wouldnt suggest upgrading. If its terribly slow, no space, cracked screen or bugs out, then switch. Or else a phone like the s20 fe is just as good as an older model

It's actually quite a bit larger than the S23 FE 😅 S23 FE was 6.5 inches, whereby this is 6.7
