At the beginning of the video, I stated Anaheim Resort Transportation, it is actually Anaheim Regional Transportation. Thank you so much for watching and we hope you found this video useful.

Many thanks for this information, sounds like it’s more confusing to use ART so it’s nice to have a clear explanation of how it works now.

Thanks! It is more confusing than it should be. Hopefully we were clear and easy to follow along.

this is a great guide, unfortunately the process is too complicated than it needs to be. last time i ended up taking the OCTA bus from ARTIC straight to the bus stop in front of the Best Western Plus on Harbor, much easier using Transit app appreciate all you do! ☺️ thanks for sharing ✨

That’s so crazy and it shouldn’t be this hard. I have made enough of these videos where I am competent at riding art but it should be just as easy as boarding a city bus.

That’s is really great info! We always try to stay within walking distance of the parks but I always see the ART busses and have wondered how they work. Thanks for putting out such great info!

The ART buses used to be fairly easy to ride pre 2020. You could buy a ticket from the hotel and just go out to the stop. Post 2020, it has been confusing to people and it should be a lot easier to ride. This is our third ART video and it has changed quite a bit from the first video we made. While making this video, some routes were deleted from the app. ART is an ever changing entity in the Anaheim area. This video took about 20 hours from start to finish to make, I saved the script this time and hopefully 2025 video won't be that different!

What kind of ID do you need for a child? You really have to be on top of this with the routes! But This looks like a great option!

Only the reduced fare needs an ID, not children. So for example, people over the age of 65 get a discount and to receive that discount, they will have to show an ID.

Thank you so much for your excellent videos! We consider ourselves Disney pros, but we still learn something new from you every time! Question: is it required to schedule your pick up with the trip planner every time you want to ride, or can you just hop on when you see your bus at the Disneyland Transit Center? Also, do we need to let them know we have a person in a (non motorized) wheelchair in our group for pick up? TIA!!!

Thank you so much, we appreciate the nice comment.
If buses are running standard/combo routes, you do not need to schedule a bus. The buses come at regular intervals, every 15-20 minutes. Selecting the depart now button and selecting a time shows the approximate arrival time of the busThis is for on-demand buses only.
On standard/combo routes, you do not need to to inform the app or driver that you need wheel chair access. However, I think (not 100%) the bus is limited to two wheelchairs or ECV vehicles. If there are multiple wheel chairs or ECVs waiting, you might have to wait for the next bus.
If buses are on-demand, then you cannot board the bus unless it is there to specifically pick you up. We took on-demand from the Disneyland Transportation center and they ask your names and deny boarding to everyone else. The last time we took and on-demand bus was in November 2023 from ARTIC station to our hotel and we were the only group waiting and the driver did not ask us our names.
If riding on-demand and your require a wheelchair, there is a wheel chair toggle switch in the A-Way-We-Go app. Click the "Depart Now" button and you are presented with a list of different options. Wheelchair access is one of the options. I know the bus is limited on space for wheelchairs and ECV vehicles so it is important to click this.
