We have been asked by viewers to show a walk to the park. Taking the monorail is always an option when it is operational. For example, currently the monorail is down for refurbishment with no opening date announced. Additionally, the monorail will shutdown in the afternoon on hot days due to the lack of air conditioning. Finally, the monorail doesn’t always open at rope drop. So if your goal is to get to space mountain first; you are better off going through the main gates.

Thank you! We had some requests to show him more. In our older videos, we filmed in our family room and you can always see waffles and pancakes playing. Unfortunately, pancakes passed away 2 years ago. So we only have our lovable jerk. He has to always be in the room when we film. Always!

Hi, Our ECV lasted the entire day and we did not have a need to charge it while at the parks and we traveled 15-20 miles each day. Disney doesn’t offer ECV/scooter charging in the parks. You can go rogue and plug into an electrical outlet, they are fairly easy to find throughout the park. We actually saw this at Disney World. However, here is the official word from Disney. They state if you need a charge go to the ECV rental shop, located right outside the park and they will let you plug in. Ohh. That’s a tough question! Ok, Candy Cane is a motel. In our experience since the remodel, our rooms have been super quiet. Courtyard was also very quiet, but our room was at the end of the hall at a dead end, so that may have been why. I’m not sure if you’ll have a car, but Candy Cane also has free parking, included breakfast and a free dedicated shuttle to and from the parks. Courtyard is valet parking only. Courtyard does not have included breakfast. There is a place to buy breakfast at the courtyard though. The have a restaurant and a Starbucks. If you’re looking for a room with a neat park view and a balcony, courtyard would be an excellent fit. We absolutely loved our view. Customer service was excellent at both hotels. Courtyard is usually one of the most expensive hotels in the area. We also did not sleep the best at the courtyard, the mattress was really uncomfortable. We saw on the courtyard website that they are renovating in Nov. 2024, so we are guessing the rooms will get new beds. It sounds like a pretty extensive remodel. Also, we did notice that sometimes the elevators were a bit slow at the courtyard. Nothing too crazy, but it was noticeable a couple of times. And the pool area at courtyard is more for kids. Not sure if the pool is important for you guys. The pool at candy cane is small but beautifully maintained. We really like both properties. That view is hard to beat at courtyard!! Our decision would most likely be based on how big of a difference in price between the 2 properties and whether we would want to splurge or not. Either choice would be a good choice! We were just talking about this entrance this morning and saying how we are going to have to redo our walking videos eventually when this entrance changes. We were watching OrangeGrove55 a while back and if I remember correctly he was stating that future expansion for DCA will most likely be in the Disneyland Transportation area. This would cause the harbor entrance and the transportation area to move. Most likely it will move closer to the freeway. Our guess is, Disney will eventually resurrect their Harbor flyover plan, but there will have to be a way for the Harbor hotels to conveniently enter the new entrance. I believe this was one of many reasons this plan was denied, Disney wasn't working with their hotel partners and they were complaining. We were watching another video and the creator was stating that for Disney to start building new attractions they need to start adding parking infrastructure. This would make sense, build a new parking structure behind the Harbor hotels, have the flyover where the old Carousel Inn was, between McDonalds and Camelot Inn. It is our believe that Toy Story will be a third gate one day and maybe Downtown Disney will be expanded to the east side of Harbor. Disney can buy Garden Walk and then they would have a complete waking patch to their third park. Only time will tell. This would put it more on par with a vacation destination.

One of the main reasons we started the channel was to help people navigate the different hotels in the area. When we weren't married we picked a "main gate" hotel thinking we were going to be close and we were quite a distance away. Names can be very deceiving and that is why we always give the walking distance in the videos. We have some ideas to group hotels on distance and make some compilation videos. Your idea is a great idea when we know if the entrance is moving. We have had an incredibly busy summer this year which we weren't expecting and some of the content we have wanted to make has been put on hold. Thankfully we are starting to slow down in our personal lives!

Hey Brickie and he previously talked about those possibilities and the parking garage that might be happening on that side of the resort. I love your walking videos. Sometimes I put them on while I’m working. Also, your videos were very helpful when I was picking hotel for my trip this May. We stayed at the Majestic Garden! I was originally from that area and I had been driving past that hotel, my whole life, wondering what it was like inside, and y’all help me get excited to stay there. I wouldn’t have thought of it if I didn’t start into your channel. Thanks!

I remember seeing that Episode from Hey Bricky! where he explored all of the other properties in the the area. He did a great job covering all of that available land. Everything points to that is where the next parking structure will go. We are hoping Downtown Disney gets expanded east and eventually goes all the way to the Toy Story Lot. That will make the area a true destination for tourists! I know the Park Vue Inn and Anaheim Hotel are slated to be torn down eventually and larger (I assume brand name) multi story hotel will take it's place.My fear is newer hotels will push prices higher putting a Disney trip further out of reach for families.

But the Sheraton at the Park does have furniture. We love to sit outside as much as we can. @@AnaheimParkTourist I would be sitting outside as much as possible also. I was thinking perhaps it may be a safety issue with furniture on the balcony, but as you mentioned some other hotels don't as well and others do. We stayed at the Anaheim hotel I was disappointed we couldn't enjoy the outdoor area of the room due to it constantly raining.

We loved the room and the layout. This is perfect for families and couples alike, best of all it was very quiet.

We believe it will only have a virtual queue while they are finishing up the construction for the outdoor queue for Haunted Mansion. When we went on it, the entire side on the mansion and in front of the train station was still behind construction walls. Hopefully no more virtual queue once construction is done. We like to ride more than once a day if we can!!

@imsleepingbeauty yes. Agreed. We have heard that you can ride it after 11pm without a virtual queue. Had we known that was the case, we would have attempted to try it when we were there! We like to ride more than once a day if possible. ☺️

Yes. We aren’t sure why it’s different for dining for on property guests at Disneyland compared to WDW. We haven’t eaten at Plaza Inn in awhile, but we have always enjoyed our meals there. We have not see Fantasmic at HS, but have heard the shows are a bit different from HS to Disneyland. We noticed the 10:30 show for Fantasmic was a lot less crowded if you plan on trying to check it out. Have fun picking your dining reservations!!!

Yes! We were on the fence about doing this dining package until the very last minute that we could cancel because of the high price. It’s a lot of money!! I wonder how spicy the potato tacos are at Rancho? I’ve heard the CMs there are super helpful, hopefully they can tell you the least spicy option! I’ve also heard you can sub the sides. For instance one person didn’t want the potato salad so they asked if they could have more rice instead. You’ll have to let us know how you liked the meal after you go! (I’m not sure why the bbq had so much spice. We are guessing it was the sauce they used) Thank you for watching! ☺️

@@trvlnthru yes! It’s early! When it went down for refurbishment, it was in haunted mansion holiday mode. So I believe they just left it as haunted mansion mode on the inside this entire time while they are reconfiguring the outdoor queue. It wasn’t supposed to open until Aug. 23, but they got it open early! We adore HMH and it’s one of our favorite things too!

Waffles was being super annoying wanting to see what we are up too. When he hears noise, he has to investigate and it has been a while since he has been in one of our videos. He totally hogged the couch! Overall, we are happy we did the River Belle Terrace premium package but it is probably a one time splurge for us. Thank you!

Yes. We feel pretty much the same! The chairs are nice but not very comfortable after sitting there for so long. Lol. We are glad we tried it, but feel it is a one and done for us. I wish we got cornbread! We both love cornbread. Haha. Thank you so much for watching!!

We loved this hotel but it is a little further out there. The ART stop is right in front of the hotel, near the beginning of this video. As an alternative, you can walk to the Toy Story Lot and take the free Disney shuttle from there. As an added bonus, if you go before 11am, you will be processed through security and you can bypass Harbor security. We ended up walking to the Toy Story Lot daily.
