@@lisapenlington8806 Yes 👍♥️
Brian is Sweet, no one can or ever will be replace him and everyone who tries like this dude is just karaoke to me. Its nice but not the real deal ! Its like Yoko Ono sings hotel California..... The real deal, or nothing.....
Love the way "Fanfare For The Common Man" by ELP was blended in.... Smashing version!
Yes!! This was fu*king fantastic!!!!🤘🤘🤘👍👌🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
También Alan parsons, the turn of a friendly a card🤏
Brian Connolly was the only person who could sing this. His voice was golden, pure, and possessed of so much feeling and emotion, no other can emulate him.
I agree but I didn't want to band to die at that point. Brian was cursed. And a great singer.
I disagree. This singer gives it justice. Not superb, but decent.
@@PatrickZiggy I think it is a case similar to that of Freddy Mercuri. A very difficult category to match.
Well said 👏
@@javierfernandez6980tampoco hay que exagerar XD
How fucking good is mick tucker?
Legend
SIR MICK TUCKER AT THE DRUMS.
A masterpiece!!!! Played it at least 85 times!⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️😳
RIP Mick, Brian, Steve...all the rest are COUNTERFEITS
Mick Tucker's playing is amazing here. He sounds spectacular. Honestly, I cannot figure out why he isn't better known as one of the best drummers of his age. He deserves the accolades.
This one deserves radio airplay
Fantastic, beautiful song.
Andy's harmony on point !
Noone can sing this song like the late Brain Connolly did. Rip Brain 💖
Yes, that's true!
Nobody can replace our Brian 🎤🎶
R.I.P. Brian, Mick and Steve
Unforgotten and forever in the hearts of your fans 💕
Yes. What a voice!!! Just a wonderful song. I knew it was great the first time heard it in 1978. And havibg fun performing.
Mick and Andy great but vocals, not so much
This version is definitely a keeper
I saw this on television in 1986, and never thought I'd see it again. Thank you for posting this!
Great music! British created so many great bands. "Love is like oxygen" is one of greatest songs of all time.
I really like this up tempo faster pace version than the slower studio recording, this rocks...
80's had some of the best singers and guitar players
This really is sweaty Marquee blue collar council house owning rock and roll at its best
What a great song. It's very effective in it's layers of sound and it's just great on a lot of levels!!
THIS IS GREAT MUSIC!
I always thought those vocals were unreal, since childhood. But, here we are...
Falsetto harmonies are on point , so nice
Great live version...!!!
Gracias.
The sound production is fucken killer! Of course, an awesome tune as well! Loved this band from the start.
Exceptionally performed !
Masterpiece 🎶
This is a magnificent rendition of this piece. Period.
Great! 💎🎸🎤🎹
F'ing amazing, always.
This is superb !!! Exciting and satisfying!! You can tell there is still some Sweet alum there. Unmistakable!
too many negative comments yes brian sang this the best but hands up to andy for hiring quality musicians keeping sweet alive.the current sweet line up is totally amazing with singer paul manzi cant wait to see them again in december 23
Look, we all miss Brian's voice, but take, for a moment, this version of Sweet on its own merits. This band is an absolute machine. I don't know that either Andy or Mick have _ever_ played better. Paul Mario Day (vox), Mal McNulty (bass) and Phil Lanzon (keys) are absolutely phenomenal musicians, and their chemistry in this format is undeniable. After the classic Sweet's nearly unlistenable final years and Andy's misguided voyage into solo Glen Frey territory (Krugerrands), I, for one, am happy that this return to form for one of rock's true pioneering guitarists and and staggeringly good drummers happened at all. So, quit yer bitching and just enjoy :)
100%. Right on comments.
You stop bitching, what unlistenable lest years? This is one of their final singles
Hell yeah. We should be grateful for even being able to listen to it.
Right on point with your comments mate , had to go research Krugerrands, holy fuck I'm glad I missed that in 1984, never heard it here in Australia😆
Boa noite...porque Bryan não está nesse show?
Ohne Brian 💝 nie wieder schön
THIS song heralded Rock's resurrection more than any other^)))))))RIP Mick Tucker, Brian Connolly & Steve Priest.)))😎💪🎵🎸💥🙏
Well...
To be honest...
I didn't know they were (are) THIS GOOD!!!
The final of oxygen song it feels outstanding in their live performance at marquee stage a celebration to their gifts in music B Connolly, M Tucker,S Priest Rip must say Bravissimo ☆☆☆☆☆
Favorite version of this song. Rode the Greyhound bus to Texas to see my father in 91 and jammed this on my Walkman cassette the whole three days down from Philly
Mick Tucker......
Best drummer I ever heard, and he twirled a mean stick too. So sexy :D
I'm a heavy metal drummer
Mick Tucker: hold my beer !!
Pretty tight sound for that era.
Mick was an incredible drummer.
Totally!
Great ELP "Fanfare for the common man" Intermezzo !
This is blowing my mind! Taking me way back to better times and amazing rock!
Drummer is awesome
Magic!!!!
Yes I love love is like oxygen well all sweet songs are brilliant
Absolut GEILE Performance
Bin begeistert SUPER
Like it!
Für mich die beste Live Version seit 1986. Einfach nur brilliant .
This is absolutely brilliant .... why don't the moaners just look listen and enjoy????
I agree this is freaking great
This is great, but with Brian would’ve been legendary.
@@TednGilbertAZ that's true
This, x1000
Because an important part of the band and song aren't there hollow here
There is not Sweet without Brian Connolly...💕💕💕🇧🇷
Yes!
There's no other frontman like Brian.
Nobody can replace him ❤
It seems there is? Anyway, I know people don’t want to hear other voices than the original and that’s understandable but I think this is a pretty good version without Brian.
desentierralo
Brian is Sweet ! Sweet is nothing without Brian..... There is only 1 Sweet.....?are you ready Steve...? Andy....? Mick.....? And only Brian was the only front man who could ask that ☝️just the 4 of them could do this. Imagine Yoko Ono sings Paradise by the dashboard light for God sake....NO ! Brian is the most underrated front man ever !
Amazing rendition of Andy's song, I LOVE the middle bit!
Fabian S. i'm just a little disappointed because this song doesn't end like that,. They left out the bitching ending WTF.......
I was born in 1982, and only discovered this Marvel in 2022, thank to my friend Andréas. Never too late !!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
What a brilliant?!
Sounds just like the album but, different with more energy. Thanx for sharing an AMAZING performance!!
Great Version of love is like Oxygen vs others.Well Done!!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Lieber Mick ! Jutta
Absolutely Fantastic Version with Fanfare for the Common Man in the Middle.Hammer!!!
We want Sweet
#RIP Greg lake and Keith Emerson
Rock de alto nivel!!
They are great love Sweet
Gran trabajo de percuciones
Day did a good job.
One of my favorites, I went across town jut to get this 45 when it came out
Super!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Andy just got hotter...how could that be? The arrangement was pure Andy!!! Gawd!!
Me encanta la instrumentacion de este tema.
Still love this song
Oh yes 👌
When I seen this reminded me when ACDC lost Bon Scott ,just not the same!but all respect to you Brian Johnson! You've done a great job!
Excelente sonido. 👏👏simplemente perfecto hard rock y heavy metal
que buen comentario amigo🎉🎉
No one has the charm Brian had.His mellow personality and voice were very unique. I think Mick was the best drummer in the world. The original four members had a special energy. It wasn't the same after Brian and Steve left.Whoever the singer is in this video, doesn't fit in.It's not just his voice but his style as well. The keyboards in this performance sounded great.
I agree Brain had a rock vocal like no other at the time but what to do. He ain't coming back so I think the next best thing is keeping the music out there and alive. I do think they need to keep looking for a better vocalist in the same spirit as Brain though but it must be hard at the same time. The keyboards sound very 80s.
They are totally ripping off Emerson Lake and Palmer right now Fanfare for the Common Man rest in peace Brian Connolly and Mick Tucker
@Myrddin Wyllt
Yes nobody will ever sing like Brian did. He had an angel voice 👌
R.I.P. Brian, Mick and Steve
No one can replace one of these fantastic guys 🎤🥁🎸♥️
@@rosannag.8172 It’s a longtime ago, but I remember very well.
Listened to Andy Scott chatting to Johnnie Walker on "Sounds of The Seventies" 23/07/2023.What A lovely Guy.Keep Well Mate xxx.
What an epic version of this classic, sung by none other than Paul Mario Day, the original vocalist of Iron Maiden. ❤❤❤
Classic performance.
What a drummer, fixing the guitarrist speeding.
Dayum! Every time.
Excellent
Paul Mario Day is o.k. but no one can replace Brian.....
