- Live At The Marquee is a live concert recorded at London's Marquee club in February 1986. The concert features the band's original members Andy Scott and Mick Tucker. Together with singer Paul Mario Day, bassist Mal McNulty and Phil Lanzon on keyboards, the Sweet performs with its usual skill and intensity, faithfully reproducing all their hits live on stage.

Mick is an absolute beast on the drums here. Just power and precision. HE was truly a master of his craft. How he didn't get more recognition I will never know. You can just feel his playing. RIP

The original band can never be replaced BUT this is one killer unit!
NEVER be replaced...and this performance is worth watching but it does not have the spit in your face mojo of the orgiinal - if you ask me.
Mick Tucker was just a very good drummer with so much feelings...love him!! But surely I miss Brian and Steve in there.

You are absolutely right. Most of the modern drummers don't have the drive and the punch! The drummer and the bass man are the backbone and the rhythm section....you can imagine if there's a problem! 😉🤔🙄

this is such a kick as song that it kicks the ass of he who kicks the ass....ridiculous! Desolation Boulevard was a warning shot over the bow of all the bullshittery of the early 70s. I am sure EVH was very moved by this album.

i almost hate to say it, but 'mike reno'(the headband). ;o) did a decent job on vocals and aside from the keyboard 'distraction', it was a decent/different version, which is nice at a live show and not just a copy of the album/studio version. good job, paul!

How to kill a great song with overblown keyboard pomposity and unnecessary chit chat crap with the audience. The song was a punchy 4 minute classic and this is not Scott's best work.
