  • Look, I know it's not a "how-to." There are tons of these out there if you're trying to find an instructional. This is my experience with replacing bushings on the front control arms of my wrecked 350Z. Honestly, things went pretty well. I really don't know what the fuss is all about...
    Thanks for watching!

What size socket can I use to press the bushings off?

This happened to my front bushings in the same spot after years of being lowered. I just ended up replacing the control arm with an upgraded one after trying to press out the bushing and damaging the aluminium control arm!

Pressing out the bushings isn't exactly an easy job. If you aren't super confident, then yes swapping the whole arms is the best option. Cheers bud

Good video! How are these bushings holding up?

Where did you get these bushings at ? I seen a video from concept z doing this same thing but they kind of made the hole on the LCA a little bit wider on the outside (for the middle bushing)”to release tension they state”

I got the bushings from Z1. I'm not sure exactly what you mean by them widening the hole, but I've heard of heating the control arms to help release the old bushings. Whatever works, I guess.

I have a problem with my lower shock bushing where it doesn't want to click on the last groove and it actually ripped off the side of the outter flat part. I'm trying to remove it now but have no idea how to remove that bushing anymore.

@@juanm9053 I wasn't able to fix that at all honestly I just sent it in like that over the strut and had to hammer it in lol. Technically it's fine I just wasn't able to get the last groove in.

What brand bushings are these? I bought some whitelines that were impossible to press in.

Not at all. I always grease PU bushings for this exact reason.
