You’ve been killing it with the TH-cam content recently! Thanks for another great video. I’ve been using the ProGrade V90 SD Cards and they’ve been enough to handle most of what I do. But I agree there’s always a sense of nervousness that something may go wrong. Interesting that I’ve never seen the not guaranteed media message though…
Thanks for the encouragement! Apologies, you are correct, I just checked my V90 card and the warning didn’t show up! It only shows up on my v30 cards. Will make a correction in the description 👍
I'm not an expert on this but I had a look at both cameras and with a 160gb CFexpress A card, the FX6 could record up to 79 minutes and the a7S III could record 82 minutes. So there may be something slightly different, or the cameras just estimate the time remaining slightly different. Sorry I can't be more scientific!
Yes I understand. I believe I have read reports of Lexar v90 cards failing, but glad to hear your cards have been solid. Some people have told me their v90 cards (ProGrade) have been reliable and solid, and so far my Panasonic v90 card hasn't failed either. Thanks for watching!
Have you filled up a v90 card with content over 25/30p? Like 100/120fps? I've been researching the most cost effective media for the FX6 when it arrives, and I've seen conflicting things. Some people say v90 cards are working even with UHD 120fps and then others say it works but then when the cards fill up the write speeds drop and can stop recording at the higher frame rates.
Another super useful video! Thanks again, I’m looking forward to the future ones 💪🏾
Glad it was helpful! Looking forward to making the next one 😃
Thank you! completely answered all my questions! got 2 of them 160gb's
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks a lot for taking time to share all these contents that are so so helpful. Merci beaucoup.
Thank you for watching!

Thank you very much for telling us this. An unrelated question: what is the difference between the XAVC S-I of the A7S3 and the XAVC I of the FX6?

What is the name of that Mac Mini hub? I seem to only find ones without an ssd drive.
It's the AGPTek hub. You can watch a video I've done on my setup here: th-cam.com/video/5La1E-r5MZ8/w-d-xo.html
As long as there is dual recording, SD cards would be just as reliable.
Is that the coreswx sony battery?
Yes it is the Core SWX battery! 👌
Xavier-l is 10bit In hd it’s 8 bit in 4k
Thanks for bringing this to my attention! I just had a look and saw that HD XAVC-L50 and HD XAVC-L35 are both 10-bit 4:2:2.
👍
Sorry but I must say that’s not my experience. My Lexar v 90 cards have been very very very useful and reliable
