Allister Chapman uses a little card with a cutout in front of his lens that obscures everything but the gray card and that works great for getting a white balance with the gray card wherever. I’d watch his video. May need a few different cards with different size cutouts depending on where your gray card is (i.e., how big it is in frame).
A better solution i use is a clip-in lens filter called the ExpoDisc 2.0. Put it on your lens and itll give you a neutral middle grey covering your entire frame

I've tried copying these file extensions over to the PRIVATE>XDROOT> Clip folder, the General folder, even the SD Card Root with no luck. Any ideas, or is it even possible? Happy 4th!

To be honest, the fx6 unlike the other cameras aren’t AS strict about the codec you use vs sd card (I’ve tried v60 on all-i) it’s not recommended or guaranteed, but I haven’t had a situation where it stopped me, that said, I’d have some way of having an internal recording, just in case
White balance should be set with a middle grey card… When the camera sets white balance it’s averaging out everything in the window to a middle grey. You clearly don’t understand how setting white balance works and you’re throwing shade.

I keep going to drag my cube files into my freshly formatted SD and it says Write protection, and wont let me drop it. Any tips?

I’ve tried this with like 7 SD cards. 2 different kinds. These little things always make me feel so dumb hahaha. Why are they all write protected!
Case closed: the SD card reader was at fault. I plugged the fx6 into the computer via usb and it worked perfect. Incase anyone else runs into this.
