Hi mate thanks for this. I have essentially the same boiler (no lrn setting) and don’t understand why I don’t need to SET the hot water in the same way as we do the central heating? If I press through after dealing with CH I can do hot water too. Should it be timed/always on/ off in eco mode? And roughly what scale number (1-6) should the hot water be set? Cheers again for the great vid
Do you have a hot water cylinder? If not it's a combi boiler so leave the hw on all the time as it turns in and off when you turn the tap on and off, if you do have a cylinder does it have a cylinder stat ? Timed will give you hot water morning evening Alway on will cluck in a out keep the water hot if you have a cylinder stat Alway off you will have to boil the kettle to do the washing up and electricity is 3 time the price of gas and Eco mode is pre heat of hotwater turned off so it takes longer to get to the tap using more water but good if the boiler is in a bedroom as it stops it randomly firing up to pre heat hotwater. Cheers mate. Never used a heater before and the manual was pretty much useless. Any idea what the learn function do?
Thanks glad to help, I am not too sure about the learn function
